Then, what is usually a 2 hour grooming experience turned into 5 hours because they said someone called off and had not gotten a replacement in. When I picked up my dog, her hair was cut so unevenly with a few missed spots and cuts on her from the clippers. All of this for $70, and the very next day she smells like she never got a bath with whatever shampoo they used. NEVER GET A DOG GROOMED AT PET SMART, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

the animals care are definitely a issue. dead animals in some cages, reptiles not having any of…read moretheir needs meet besides heat. owner does not care about the animals best interest, especially with some of the furry animals and fish. support a business that cares about their animals. reptiles that need uvb did not have that. no water. fish that are meant to be kept alone were not. fish were being advertised to be kept in a small glass bowl (prob about 16oz) some animals did not have food in cages aswell. bird cages were caked in feces. birds also did not have any enrichment, or perches or proper food for their species. the shop cat was very sweet tho and in good health. that's about the only positive.

As we were staying in Bettendorf I found this store online, the young man was great--helping us choose some great treats and a toy he's having fun with. They don't take any of his crap here. I like that. He needs it. They are kind and he always is happy to see me but is never traumatized as he has been at other places. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, he needed his nails cut. Which seems like a pretty simple procedure. NOT for this baby. He has sensitive feet and absolutely hates having his nails cut. In and out in like 7 minutes with his nails being cut as much as any human could have without sedating this dog. I was pretty impressed. Many times groomers have sent him out without a trim because he was too much. Not this groomer. Again, didn't take any of his crap. And he got his nails trimmed. Like it. They also have an excellent selection of dog treats and toys. Cheap, at least by my standards. Yes, I know he is a lot of work but please keep taking good care of my baby!
