Light skinned Girl was incredibly rude, as well as the 2 other girls standing on their phones. When asking to see one of the puppies she rudely told me I had to be 18 I am 22 years old and had my brothers. The dog was finally able to see us, and the lady cut our time short into 5 minutes. If you are excepting even a small amount of customer service then don't go to the Pets Supply Plus on Mall Rd. Had to wait at the check out for someone to check me out for at least 4 to 5 minutes. Could get my number in the system that has worked every time before. Won't go to this one again. read more

This is a decent location of Pet Supplies Plus. The store is very small, but they cram a decent selection of items into a well organized space. The staff was friendly and helpful... you could tell they really love pets. I received a great coupon in the mail so stopped in to buy a few last minute doggy Christmas presents. This store sells everything from food of every price/quality level, to treats, toys, and supplies. There is something for every pet! Prices are ok, especially when combined with sales or coupons. read more

Unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I went there for years. The last time I was there 3 young girls were on their phones while I needed assistance. I asked when I walked in store if their fish were well because 1) I had a foot injury & didn't want to walk to the back of the store for nothing & 2) previous visits the tanks had ick. After selecting the fish I wanted to purchase & waiting (in pain - that I expressed at the door) for several minutes, I asked Tiffany if someone could assist me with purchasing fish. She gave me a look as if she were getting sick and walked away. I will never go back. read more

Hello I received a 7 week old calico kitten that I tried everything to get to eat i went to pet supplies plus in florence and met elisa. She change my kittens world. She was very patient with my kiteen and after everything she tried at first she couldnt get her to eat. She opened this little tiny can of food put some in a dish for her and she ate it. I have had so many issues with this store. First, it seems to be run by kids who don't know much about anything they are selling. I know they are young, but if you're selling animals, you kind of need to know something about them. Second, I've had to return to the store with fish that died within days probably six times within two months. I've had aquariums for decades and know what I'm doing. They must be selling sick fish. Third, they sold me pregnant guppies and somehow a ton of snails got into my tank (probably with the plant I bought). I've been buying fish for a while and this just seems irresponsible. I do not want 72 guppies in my 10 gallon aquarium. Fourth, they just all seem to need a lot of training. I'm not trying to be mean or insulting in any way. But every time I go there, what should be a 5 or 10 minute trip is 30-45 minutes as they try to figure out how to catch fish and work the cash register. Someone rang up my fish completely wrong and when I tried to return it (because it had died), I was told they couldn't refund me because it wasn't on my receipt. Again, I'm not trying to be mean, but I believe in honest feedback. This store could greatly benefit from some solid training for their employees and better management. (Even the manager admitted to not knowing much about the fish.) read more

I like this little pet supply shop! They have a good variety of pet food. I came in looking for an e collar for my cat. And spray on liquid bandage. My cat was itching her ear and eye area raw. She didn't have fleas or earmites. A woman working on the floor told me she could be allergic to a new dry food I put her on. That was it to a T!! Our kitty looks so much better now that we took that food away. I wish I knew her name because she was extremely helpful :) read more

Just saying maybe, just maybe you should have figured out why they died before u put more fish in. I started going to this store because of the prices and convenient location. So I started going there regularly. Sometimes the bags of dog food were put in places with posted prices that they would say didn't apply. That sort of irked me. I would buy dog food cans. Once I found our many of the cans were outdated by a year so I brought them back. Later on, we got got the dog wash pass. However there is no dryer. I found out the existing hair dryer was really for drying out the dog shower area not for dogs and that is why it was cold. So be aware you will drive home with a soggy dog or a very cold wet dog. So recently they regularly ran out of the Alpo dog food cans I would buy. So the only thing left was a sealed 12 pack of the cans. I bought it. I didn't entirely unwrap the the pack. That pack ended up being full of severely dented cans. My male dog refused to eat from that canned food. Finally I got down to one of the last cans and when I pulled it out the lid was full of bubbly mold. I took it back and got a refund. However they didn't really agnowledge the danger they put dogs in with outdated cans and crushed compromised cans. They blamed it on the delivery man. However I have never seen cans that damaged from any other pet store or any grocery store for that matter. So being that they cannot store food safely I've learned I must for the safety of my pets go elsewhere. There are many other places you can safely purchase dog food. With that much competition this store should up their game and try harder to win my confidence. read more

I had two baby turtles for about two months and i decided to get a sucker fish and two snails to help keep the tank clean and one day later the fish died i started to notice that the turtles weren't eating or moving much but i didn't really think anything of it so the next day i decided to get another sucker fish and a gold fish and the very next day they both died and both of my turtles are dead now. When i asked if i should get a certain kind of fish they said not to because they had ick and would give it to the turtles but the others would be fine, they were wrong. Also when i was there i witness them cleaning all of the dead fish and there was about 30 and it was the second time they did it that day as i over heard them say. When they got my first sucker fish, the lady had picked it up with her hand instead of using a net, which is very bad for the fish, because it was easier. Bad service, bad management, and bad products. I have downloaded this app and made an account to let people know not to go to this pet store because there pets could die, even if you didn't get your pet from there. I will NEVER GO BACK and ask you not to go either, you don't want to kill your pets. This is by far the worst pet store i have been too and it seems all the animals are sick. I suggest that you go a little farther down the road to pet smart which has great service, great prices, great management, and great products. So to make my point i have spent the time to do all these things to warn people to NOT GO HERE! The place should be shut down. I hope you find my review helpful read more
