First time using the "self service dog wash" option here. It was so easy and $14 well spent to have a clean, good smelling dog with no muss or fuss. They supply the towels and soap and dryer, if you want, so you don't have bring them. It keeps you and your bathroom dry and fur free. My dog actually seemed to enjoy the bath. And of course, there's toys or treats to be had walking out as a reward for being so good. Smart marketing on their part! read more

We can't say enough about this location! We have been to many groomers over the last 18 months for our 2-year-old Shih Tzu including another Pet Supplies Plus location. When we brought our pup to Latrobe, we were pleased to see that the grooming area is open to the public to see what is going on. This was our first visit with Brandon, and he was very attentive to our pup's grooming preferences. He listened well to our concerns and suggestions. We did return to this location before we received the call that our pup was finished with his appointment. Our intention was not to oversee Brandon's process, but we were able to see how both he and our pup were interacting. Brandon was very detailed in his grooming with our pup, and he took his time. We appreciated that he was this detailed and patient. Our pup looked great when Brandon was finished. We were very happy to book our pup's next appointment with Brandon. When we checked out, we were pleasantly greeted by Taylor who lavished praises on our pup. She also thoughtfully looked to see if there were any discounts she could apply to our order and to our pleasant surprise there was a coupon! We were very thankful for Taylor's attention to detail and willingness to assist a first-time customer. We will certainly be back to this location. It is a 35-minute drive from our house (and the other location is less than one mile from our house). The amazing service and people who work here are more than worth the drive! read more

All employees are kind, courteous and helpful. The store is well kept and managed very well.

Repeatedly has 100's of crickets in the bin they sell them from and say they have none. Insist these are for their animals but the next time you come in, that's where they get yours from. Then they say they will get more by a certain day or they don't even know when they will have more. They are incredibly unreliable to say the least!! Horrible, horrible business. And despite speaking directly to the store manager, nothing is done to fix the problem. Every week ira luck of the draw if your animal gets to eat if you're depending on them to supply and stick the food for your living creature. And they act like it's no big deal. read more

This store is very clean, well organized and has the friendliest employees. There is a big variety of pet food choices, treats, snacks, toys, crates, and other supplies. If you can't find something, they will try to help you out. Plus, they offer grooming services. My cocker spaniel is a little overweight and the staff has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I asked questions about certain brands of treats. I like the loyalty card program. It's located in a shopping center which makes parking easy. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Went in this past week to pick up some cat food and treats and witnessed a family being treated so poorly. I heard their conversation in the next isle excited to see a snake (it seemed as though they had some of the same kind at home) and wanted to inquire about seeing it. The manager came to help and when they asked to see it I heard the manager say she would only help them or even give them her time if they were going to purchase it. I mean as a customer that has come in a long time and even purchase hamsters for my daughter here I've never had issues or been treated poorly but that was appalling. How does anyone know if they want to purchase an animal without even seeing it first? Her attitude, judgment, and way she handled the family was completely wrong. read more

This has been the go too pet store for us recent and I have bought multiple animals there. The staff is always very friendly and have taken the reptiles out to show our kids and we never asked them too. The other night we went in for insects for our lizards and there was a snake I would like to see but couldn't because it was hiding. I asked the girl working if I could see it not hold! She says I have to get my manager then she comes over being so rude and Said I could only see it if I bought it! who buys something sight unseen and I did not want to just hold it because I have snakes at home and if I wanted to hold a snake I would just go home and not waste time in your store. So I'm sure she thought we couldnt afford the snake because we had 3 kids. I contacted corporate and they just ignored me so they have very good customer service too! read more

Just came here for the first time today with our new puppy we just bought and they discovered she had flees. They took her in the back and gave her a flee bath and even clipped her nails without even charging us. They were the nicest employees and spent time with us making sure we knew how to take care of our new puppy and making sure we had everything we needed to take care of her. I've seriously never had such amazing customer service at any store in my life. I'm so impressed with all of the employees at this store and will be going back there for all of our pet needs in the future. Thanks again for taking care of our new puppy and us today! I'm so thankful we stopped there before bringing her and her flees into our house. You all really saved the day and we are truly thankful! Nice little pet store next to the Giant Eagle in Latrobe. Employees are always friendly and helpful and prices are very fair.

The store is very nice for supplies. However, do not take your dog to be groomed! The girl that groomed my little guy was new and left by herself to do the job. She shaved my puppy to the skin underneath and gave him awful razor burn. Also irritated where he was neutered about six months ago. I've had to stay home with him the past four days, caring for him and the irritated area. I've been in contact with his vet and we're keeping an eye on it so it doesn't get infected. I am so upset that that girl was left unsupervised when she was new and clearly didn't know what she was doing . read more

We were in Latrobe from out of town and had a pet emergency. I went into Pet Supplies Plus and the manager Pat was an unbelievable help. He went above an beyond to help us out - I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and flexibility. If we lived in the Latrobe area I would never shop anywhere else! All the other employees we encountered were genuine pet lovers and told me they loved working there which is the ultimate testament to a well-run business. I've been frequenting this store since it opened in Latrobe. I have always had good service and I want to support l local businesses. Today I walked in and one of the employees was not wearing a mask and the other had hers under her chin while she was talking. I asked the nonmask one where her mask was and she just shrugged.. I won't be going back there unless it is remedied. I'll buy from Chewy from now on. read more
