They will just not be open sometimes, like today, a sunny Sunday. We like being able to support our local independent pet store, but we can no longer rely on them for our dog's food because they just decide to sometimes not open on Sundays, a day they have listed as open, or open late. So we decided today we are just ordering dog food online from now on. This has happened too many times to us now. We need reliability, and we don't have it here, sadly.

I drove 50 miles to purchase the tree. Jackie wasn't working when I arrived. I explained the 25% discount to Valerie. Manager Valerie refused to honor the 25% discount. I informed Valerie I would get with Jackie when she came in shortly. Valerie stated, "no need as I'm her boss." As a manager, Valerie was very unprofessional and rude with no customer service skills.

A few months ago I came into Mount Airy TSC. My item was not in stock as indicated online. Jackie refused to look in the back to see if the item came in and told me to go to Walmart. I had to go 20 miles to the Frederick store because of this. Today, I got a notice saying that my online order was ready for pickup. I went to get it at the Mount Airy store and the cashier was very busy. I told her that I was here for a online order. She was checking out customers while Jackie was having a conversation with a friend 4 feet away. The cashier called for help several times but Jackie did nothing. After 3 calls for assistance the cashier verbally asked Jackie to help. What a RUDE person. Because she had to cut her conversation short to do her job, she had an ATTITUDE with me. THIS IS NOT HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD WORK. This woman has for the second time, made my trip to this TSC HORRIBLE. The cashier even asked me to complain to corporate about her. Obviously they do not care - as this person is still employed and still being rude to customers. DO YOUR JOB!!!!!

Other than never being able to figure out whether I was due for a free dog wash after my six visits, I always had good experiences with this location, that all changed today. Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here...

Days End Farm Horse Rescue in an "open" facility so you can just pop in 9am to 4pm for a tour. Some of the horses that are rescued are nothing more than skin and bones, can't even stand up and need to be placed in a special sling until they are strong enough to stand and walk. They are nursed back to health, then put into a conditioning and training program with the hopes of adopting them for a perfect match into their forever home. The transformations are hard to believe and some of the horses go on to be top champions! So worth your time to check it out in person.

Kat was reliable, efficient, and immediately struck up a trusting connection with our 'boys'. It was challenging work for her, because she had to administer an inhaler treatment twice a day to one of the cats, Marlow, despite not having known him before. She did an absolutely wonderful job. He was actually in better shape and coughing less, after we came home than before we left. Both cats looked happy and relaxed. The cat area was left clean and tidy. I will look no further next time we need cat care. We also loved the photos and updates we got each day....it helped us relax much better while away!

They never reached out. Since then, I have contacted them at least monthly through text and called at least monthly and never get a response. The last time I called and texted, on 4 November, I was assured they would be sending me a check through the mail. This has never arrived. It should not take 5 months to reschedule an appointment or send me a refund. I can't speak to how they are as trainers since I never had the opportunity to actually meet them, but how they have treated me in the past 5 months does not bode well for their professionalism.

Charlie has done a COMPLETE 180! Backround on Charlie…read more(Lab/Shepard Mix): Rescued prior to even reaching 8 weeks by Last Chance Animal Rescue out of Waldorf, MD. Charlie was neutered and up for adoption at 8 weeks old. The first time he was able to be adopted, we fell in love. Fast forward to 4 months old, we started to see a significant change in Charlie's behavior for the worse. What used to be what we thought was puppy play, quickly turned into to aggression and stubbornness. Examples include: "NO" not working, aggressive barking, jumping on anyone and everyone, ignoring not working, kenneling just aided in his disobedience, trying to smell everything on walks, terrified of other dogs. One thing Charlie didn't struggle with was his love for people. After talking to multiple different people and reading multiple different things, Charlie was headed down a dark road with his rebellion. Thank goodness we decided to try a Dog Trainer! We were recommended American K9 and are so thankful we were. Charlie is 110% a better dog! In the chance he does something he isn't supposed too, we either say "NO" and he stops or we can choose to put him in timeout, which also works! Without yelling, or getting aggravated. We can also take him on a walk and only hold the leash with 2 fingers, because he does not pull. Charlie had horrible anxiety due to being the "runt" of the pack. Krys went above and beyond helping him with that & being patient. Overall EXTREMELY Satisfied!!!! Very Personal! If you are thinking about a dog trainer I say Krys is the one!! Highly recommend!
