We brought in our sweet Goldendoodle yesterday for a bath/grooming appointment with Melody and we are incredibly happy with the service! Our pup is super afraid of water and hates baths and was ready to go home when we made it back to the grooming area of the store but Melody put her at ease and calmed her down before I left. Came back to pick our pup up and she looked beautiful! Melody gave her an oatmeal bath to soothe our dogs super sensitive skin and the haircut was perfect and what we discussed before she started the groom. Walked in to see if there was availability for my small dog to get groomed, and the ladies in the grooming section were very sweet and accommodating. They took my pup right away. In a couple hours, my pup was ready. He was fluffier than ever! They did a fantastic job!! Got all his knots out and took such care with him! Paid extra for teeth cleaning and it was well worth it! Unfortunately I need to update my review. I placed an online order for pick up today. My son was on his way home from school, so he was going to pick up the order for me. When he arrived, he was told he could not pick up the order and he texted me saying I would have to pick it up as they would not release it due to thefts. He also produced the same credit card used for the order and provided a copy of his driver's license. Well, I immediately called and spoke with Jed. I was told that he could bring my ID and they would release it. They can't tell what credit card was used to purchase the order. Well, why not check his address from his drivers license that he produced and check to see the address on the invoice? Guess what, they'd match. If you still didn't want to release it to him, why not offer to deliver it since free store delivery is an option? I have never been asked to show my ID when I've ordered online before and I'picked up in person. Apparently, losing a customer is no big deal. I prefer to support local businesses but it looks like I can take my business to Petsmart or just use Amazon. Bummer. read more

I live in SFV, but work out in the SCV. I saw when this place opened and was tempted to go in but really never had a reason to. So, instead of going back into the valley and going further than home to hit up my usual pet supply store, I decided to run in here. This place is massive, has amazing products, even an awesome grooming station in the back, and just the nicest people working there. From the minute I came in, they greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I wanted to look around, but was not seeing what I came in for, and so I asked for help. The girls at the front were so lovely, nice and helpful. I was looking for a cbd oil for my older dog and my anxious younger dog, and they had a really good recommendation and also were really helpful and sweet. I will for sure make this my pet supply store on my way back into the valley. Plus, with signing up for their rewards program, I have received coupons (even got one the first day I went in and checked out with $5 off) and now received a 15% off. For dog and cat supplies they are good with price matching. BUT, when we decided to try the grooming services...that was a huge mistake. Where do I start? I have a beautiful Standard Poodle. So Kerry saw me coming. She is the head talker and groomer. She says she has 18 year experience and showed poodles, but I really questioned that. She kept her as a bait dog for 5 hours, getting people to talk to her about Lola. She initially set the bill on the counter and wasn't there. I suspect so I would pay before seeing my girl. The front of her look okay, I'll even go as far as good. But when she showed me her back there was a large chuck of fur that was razored all the way down to her skin. The bill was for 125.00...with a $10.00 discount for her "little mistake". As a Cosmetology/Esthetician teacher, if we make a mistake, they shouldn't pay. Even half off the next grooming, something? She just got super defensive and nasty. I had a 20% off coupon that they reluctantly took up at the front, (with 10.00 in treats)-and it still came to 110.00. My better half was furious that she would charge for such a big mistake. He went in and they had words, mainly because she said when I tried to talk to her and get her to fix the problem, I was making her uncomfortable. Really? I've been to the store twice. First time was to look at pet supplies for my puppy and bunny but customer service was lacking. I tried asking 2 different employees help finding supplies and they just seemed to be too busy or uninterested in helping. Second time I went in for grooming per the recommendation of someone I met at the park while walking my dog. Everybody was nice BUT they didn't take down my phone number correctly even though 2 people were taking down my info. They told me it would take 4 hours so when it was five hours later I finally called in and they said they had no way of reaching me. It was not a pleasant first experience for me or my puppy. It didn't give me any confidence in them and although they apologized, they didn't provide any type of discount for such carelessness. Just thinking my baby was in a kennel hungry and crying breaks my heart. She got a bath and small trim and that looked well but pets are like our babies and I didn't feel good about the experience at all. Okay lets get this long review started. I have been trying to find a groomer to groom our 16yr old Miniature Poodle. Luckily Pet Supplies Plus Groomers were able to groom her however I had told the groomers she can not be left alone in a crate because she will dig and her nails will bleed and she needs to be a zoom groom. Upon talking to the groomer she said that was no problem and they would be able to get her in, in the next few days and the cost would be $100. Dang thats high but I was desperate, Petco already butchered her haircut and the poor thing was ugly. So come that Lovely Thursday my mom and I drop off our Poodle and awkwardly there is only two groomers who are working on one dog. There are no other groomer and no one else to help take care of customers. The groomers asked the questions gave us the paperwork and took my dog to the back where I thought maybe there would be more groomers who would wash and cut her. Two hours passed by and I was gonna give the groomers a call to see if my dog was done but was insisted by my mom that she was probably still being groomed. Three and a half hours pass and finally we get a call that she is ready! Really it took that long to groom her? I didn't know she was that bad but of well. So my mom goes to pick her up and what ends up happing is there are no groomers there. The manager of the store is trying to find my dog. She cant find my dogs collar even though my mom is telling her what it looks like and the name thats on it and then five minutes late she finds it. My mom pays and cant figure out why my dog feels light and awkward. So my mom is driving home when she gets a call from the store telling here they gave her the wrong dog. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!!!! YOU GAVE MY MOM THE WRONG DOG!!! First off why does my dog not have its identification or any papers with it. What is the point of filling out papers if you are just going to use them as scrap paper. Second the person you gave my dog to had to realize that wasn't her dog. The manager told my mom, the groomers go home and leave the dogs in the crates and they are stuck handing the dogs and giving them back to the owners. They don't know where any of the dogs collars or papers are. So if you don't know where any of there stuff is then how can your store or staff be responsible for taking care of my animal. I am so ashamed of the Groomers, The manager, The Owners of the Store, and The Store itself. Never ever will I take my dog here again. read more
