So my wife found this pet store when we were searching for an answer to my puppy's gastrointestinal problems. On her first visit, she said they were all super helpful and extremely friendly. Since then, we've been coming here for the past few months and all of my experiences have matched hers. Most of the staff are very knowledgeable about pets, as they are pet owners themselves, so they are able to share their own experiences and things they've tried. One staff member in particular, Stephanie, has been super helpful with both my wife and I many times regarding nutrition, foods and how to train our puppy. We love talking with her because she always teaches us something or gives us good ideas. We have also brought our puppy for grooming services. Up until about 6 months of age, the grooming services for dogs are ultra inexpensive. Plus, I heard you can also pay to use their showers and bathe your dog on property on your own. I'm not sure how much that costs but definitely something we will explore further. After 6 months of age, the cost of the grooming services goes up a bit so that's probably a good option. All in all, the staff is great. This place is so much more helpful and caring than the big pet store chains. Check it out, talk to the staff. You won't be disappointed. read more

I drive from Burbank, CA just to shop in this store. I wish there were locations closer but since there are not and the store has such interesting brands, it's often worth the drive. The good: I came here for cat food and found that the squeeze tube puree snacks my cats like is cheaper here than it is on Amazon. I got a variety of other puree-type cat foods here too for discounted prices. Many items were on sale with red tags. The store's very organized and clean. A little over more than half of the store is designated for dog stuff. They sell fish here. They have a rewards program with discounts if you sign up with your email address. The cashier who helped ring me out was super friendly. The bad: Their hours are more limited than the chain pet stores but I think I'll be coming here for my future cat snack needs due to their great prices. I can't get over how friendly and service oriented everyone is every single time I go. And I go all the time now. I won't go anywhere else. The groomers are excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and you can tell they truly love pets. I also use the bathing area for my dogs in between grooming and I love it! Much easier on my back. Wow! I had the fest customer service representative helping me. His name was Bryce K. He was so knowledgeable and helped me more than I even knew I needed. My two dogs weren't agreeing on the food I was feeding them. I was lost as what to do next as this has been going on for years. Recently my wife and I rescued a puppy on the street. We attempted to track down the owners and it seemed they weren't going to be found. Long story short, we bought a few hundred dollars worth of supplies for what we thought was our new baby girl. Turned out the owner had been looking very hard and was able to get in touch with us and, of course, we returned her to her rightful owner. I was worried I wouldn't be able to return everything I bought(dog treats, food, leashes, sweaters and toys) but was I ever surprised. Not only did the manager, Debbie, refund every single item(some without receipts and by phone number, i.e. more work) but she did so with a big smile and wonderful disposition. No stars for grooming. If you have a senior dog, don't bother dropping them off here they are not accommodating at all. Your dog will be caged for more than 5 hours waiting to be groomed even though you made an appointment. Don't make the mistake I did and just do a mobile grooming service. read more
