We needed to give Grizzly the Aussie a bath. My son told me about self washes. We looked up the closest place and arrived to find false advertising. No wash! This was place number 2. Just go here. It's a great concept. They have a little room set aside with shampoo, conditioner, towels, and even a high-speed dryer. There is a low and high table forcwahing and a way to secure your pet so they can't jump out. We bought some wet food made by Fromm , and I ended up buying 5 washes for 35 dollars, an amazing deal. read more

They changed their deliveries to a 7 mile radius I am 7.3. I am extremely busy & I tip good. Our lives are challenging today with everything going on. That is so petty. Now I placed on online order to pick up at store. I live in between their store & a Petsmart & choose their store. Now their policy is you have to pick up order within 5 days or they cancel the order. Why? It is paid for. I don't know from day to day where my day takes me. I work full time, manage my home & health & a care giver to my elder mom & both inlaws. What kind of nonsense is that. read more

This is a great Pet Store with a locally owned feel and reasonable prices! We try to shop here as much as possible (especially for Dog Food). They have a great repeat business program depending on the products you are purchasing (we just got our 13th Dog Food Bag FREE). The service is always Excellent from the staff, very friendly always when we go in. We drive from Riverview to here to support their store... the big box Pet Stores aren't nearly as friendly, clean, or helpful, and we recommend you check this place out! read more

PSP is an amazing neighborhood store. I love their delivery service and the staff is awesome. Personal handwritten thank you notes upon delivery.. OVER THE TOP GREAT. One thing missing........ I'm getting my first puppy in a few days so I've spent a lot of time in pet supply shops these past couple weeks. Not being a pet shop person my first impression was that this store was not a chain. Staff treated me as if my business mattered to them. I've since happily learned they are (obviously) a chain. I hope the other stores have the same nice staff as Valrico. Their prices usually beat PetSmart and they were very quick to point out they price match. I also returned something effortlessly. - I am thrilled this is the closest pet store to my house. I went to use the self bathing dog area as I do regularly, but had just been used by what it looks like a very large hairy dog. The cashier called someone and promptly cleaned the area before I went in to bathe our dogs. The personnel was quick to help me find and additional product I needed. They're always polite, friendly and very helpful. read more

I was trying to purchase multiple toys for my kitties and after 3 times I was not allowed to join my membership for discounted prices. I only have one email and I tried two passwords which include the required characters and then the site locked me out. Not user friendly. So now, I must go into the establishment to see if they will rectify the situation. It's not a good start for me to contact doing business. I like to support local businesses any where I live, but if it's going to be this difficult, I will give my hard earned money to another store in Brandon. read more

Tonight I came to pick up my dog food that I ordered online. They have a new policy going on that if you don't have your ID or the person that ordered the food on hand, you cannot get the food from scamming mind you I shop here all the time I'm a military veteran and I have seven German Shepherds, I wasn't able to feed my dogs tonight because of this new policy the manager was not helpful at all. She could've let me get the dog food but still refused. I will no longer support this business and give them any of my money anymore. So disappointing I will take my money elsewhere. now I have to wait for a refund read more

They're amazing with staff and store cleanliness, though if one thing I do mention that took away a 5 star is when getting fish from there some had fit rot and I wasn't aware of it till late notice. Killed off some of my own personal fish in a tank I had and I was devastated but it's not their fault for what fish they get ordered, though they should check! This place has great customer service which seems to be a lost art these days. They have always been helpful when I've been in the store, even carrying large bags of dog food out to my truck. Most recently I was on a work trip and my dog needed more food. I was able to order it online and have it delivered to my house the same day! My wife was worried about having to carry a large bag of dog food but this option prevented that. She just had to drag the bag off the front porch. I went in to grab a few quick things tonight 6/30. It was close to closing so I was told by an associate that they were closing in 5minutes which resulted in me trying to hurry thru the store. While in line, I witnessed the manager, Brittany, be very rude to a customer and even huff and sigh because there was a customer that wanted to purchase a Guinea pig so close to closing (this was 5 min to 6). I honestly was so turned off by her actions and nasty attitude that I do not know that I will return. I understand that she wants to go home but she could have smiled and been a lot nicer about it. The other customers left empty handed and she was able to close the store at 6:05. Update 7/3... the owner of the store called and took care of the situation in an appropriate manner. read more

I decided to try the dog bathing facilities last week. The cashier was extremely helpful. I mentioned that I didn't want to bathe our dogs at home because I always ended up with a backache and she immediately offer to set up the high bathing area and provided me with towels. Th whole area was very clean and had everything I needed. I was able to bathe and dry all 3 short hair dogs as well as rinse the tub area in 30 minutes. I jus became a loyal, regular customer of their bathing area as well since I was a regular customer for dog supplies since we moved to Brandon in March. read more

I have visited this store multiple times for purchases but went today for the first time for a self service pet wash. I am disappointed in the customer service at today's visit. I walked in with my husband and dog and we asked the person at the front where the pet wash was. She told us the back corner. We walked back and another associate was standing in the door way cleaning it out. We asked if the washing area was closed or if we could proceed with a wash and the associate seemed confused. He repeated 'umm' a few times and then asked which wash we wanted. After we told him a woman approached us without a greeting and told us we need to check in at the front. Needless to say, we were then confused. I let her know that we asked someone at the front where the wash was and a check in was never mentioned. The woman then stated that we only asked 'where' the wash was... and that people come in frequently just to look at it. What?! We had no idea that this store wants you to pay first so that they can turn the water on at the baths for you. The woman that approached us was off putting and made us uncomfortable. We chose to quickly finish the bath and not purchase anything so that we could leave as quickly as possible. I do not recommend this location if you are looking for self service pet wash, if you want to be treated in a positive manner, or if you need help. read more

So back in December I took my dog for a self wash since the groomer we used had an emergency trip to the ER. Water is extra cold, no warm water option at all. We asked and the answer was simple no we don't have warm water. My poor dog was barking, I placed a review on their google page and they didn't approve the post and took it down. Never going again and of course I passed the news around to all my furs friends and they are not going either. read more

Been in 4-5 times now and have not been disappointed. Every single person has said hello and asked if we needed help. 3 dogs get expensive and some things were more than Publix, but the bulk treats are great. We have found our new pet store, right down the street from the house. read more
