Who rambled on and on about the same thing of all the things they can do over the next couple of days to save his life. We have cried for hours before bringing him here to say goodbye and end his suffering. Then sent in the same tech who called herself a nurse ( a whole different set of illegal regulatory infractions here). Where's the compassion for end of life care? Also where's the professionalism??? To top it off, I was on call and receiving messages regarding my own and other physicians patients when the Vet said " excuse me but are you listening????" In a scolding child-like manner. Please know your own audience lady. Some of us hold higher degrees than you and are working tirelessly to make sure our own patients get treated way better than the care you're providing. I do not recommend this place at all. It's clearly just a paycheck for everyone here. Higher management should really provide education to those employees on end of life care and especially the communication aspect. Positive feedback? The 2 very young employees at the front desk should be encouraged to further their education and complimented on their compassionate approach towards us. I took my Bulldog Butters here to understand why he was having a seizure like event (turned out to be syncopes) in his sleep, but only during deep sleep, then losing control of his bladder. Let's get right to business, this place runs a massive imaging scam. They will tell you they think that your pet has a tumor on their heart, do untold thousands worth of scans, let you worry all weekend, and then when you take him back in they tell you "He doesn't have a tumor, he has severe sleep apnea and he's losing oxygen due to it, we can operate tomorrow." Already out multiple thousands of dollars due to this scam, I obviously agree to pay $3200 for this surgery (that usually runs MAXIMUM $1000) to make sure my best buddy is feeling okay. They've run tests, his red blood cell count is down but assure me in a day or two he can have his surgery. I drop Butters off for surgery, pay them $3200, and am worried sick. At noon, they call and tell me he made it through surgery, everything is fine. I'm ecstatic, can finally rest and pick him up the next day. At 3:30, I get a call that my best bud is no longer with us, and that the "surgeon" wanted to put him back under because his breathing got heavier to "Trim some swelling off". Now I'm not a doctor, but I know bs when I smell it. They did not have permission to put him back under, and my buddy died so the dr could go home. Furious, I come up to the vet, and see my little boy lying dead on a rolling cart, and they bring me a receipt for the bill, tell me it will be $350 to cremate him, and $50 if I want his paw print. AFTER THEY KILLED HIM. I tried to talk to the surgeon, who ducked me at all costs. I ended up speaking to their anesthesiologist, who barely spoke English, and had conflicting stories from the surgeon, and I caught both of them in several lies. They never checked butters red blood cell count, and did not properly treat him post surgery (IE Mandatory oxygen tent and intubated until they can't stand it anymore, I learned he was only intubated for several minutes after and thrown in a cage, then given a downer to calm his breathing, prior to dosing him to put him back under which ultimately stopped his heart). I had Oklahoma State University and Texas A&M BOTH review Butters case over the past year and they said its the most absurd case of vet negligence that they've ever seen and I should reach out via lawyers. Not to mention the people running the phones and the desk for whatever reason act like you aren't worth their time and they have somewhere better to be. Obviously because they killed my friend I disputed the transaction for the surgery where they killed him on my card, which this place then disputed??? They told me the surgeon was no longer with them, and I should sue him if I felt so inclined. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE TAKE YOUR PET HERE.

The staff treated me very well and were quick to explain everything they could to me and were transparent about any costs I might be responsible for and kept everything open to me. They didn't push anything and were very calm and understanding about this difficult time. When I brought my kitten in, they were extremely quick to take him to the back before I even gave them any information which I really appreciated. Absolute waste of $250…read more I brought my puppy to BluePearl because he had a cut on his ear that was bleeding, and I was concerned about getting the bleeding under control and preventing infection. I was charged approximately $180 for an assessment and another $70 for a cone, but nothing was actually done to clean, dress, or treat the wound. I was simply told to follow up with my regular veterinarian. I took him to his vet the very next morning, and they cleaned and dressed the wound to help prevent infection--without sedation. What upset me even more was being told at BluePearl that my puppy could potentially lose his ear, which caused me even more fear and anxiety, yet no treatment was provided beyond putting a cone on him. I completely understand that emergency veterinary care can be expensive, and I was prepared to pay for my puppy to receive care. What I did not expect was to spend $250 just to have someone look at his ear, give him a cone, scare me with the possibility of him losing his ear, and then send us home without treating the wound. Never again. I left feeling like I paid $250 for an assessment and a cone instead of actual care for the problem that brought us there.

Every vet was closed. We called urgent vet, but could not afford to put the poor boy down. He was broken in half practically. We could barely speak on the telephone and hung up after saying thank you. These beautiful people called us back and told us don't worry about it. Just come in. We arrived and they even had a special room with comfortable couches so we could hold him and say goodbye. I could barely speak. It was so peaceful and softly lit, the staff and the doctor were so very kind to us. First, they gave him a shot for the pain. Then a shot to say goodbye. My daughter and I left that office just a mess, absolute jelly. Someone from the office chased us out in the parking lot and gave us a card with Jackie's paw prints on it, and his collar with his name tag which we keep above the fireplace. If we ever get another animal, I would absolutely bring them to this Veterinarian. They are incredibly kind. It's so very rare to experience such kindness in this day and age, where empathy is considered a sin. Thank you.

She quit eating, drinking, and walking in just two days. To end Lily's suffering, we called Lap of Love 0530am and left voice mail for urgent help! At 0600am Matt called and said "Dr. Sarah will arrive between 11 am and 12 pm. We are here to help make this process as peaceful for you and Lily as possible." Matt explained everything and followed up with an informative email. Dr. Sarah called us before arriving at the scheduled time. She was very compassionate, caring, understanding, professional, and was a blessing to Lily and our family. Lily was first given a sedative to relax her and after she closed her eyes a few minutes later was given a shot and went to heaven. We were given a Paw Print of Lily's paw embedded in clay with her name on it, some hair taken from Lily's back and in a small clear container with Love on it, and a wonderful pamphlet that I cherish called Eternal Paw Prints. In two days received an informative email from Jennifer of Lap of Love who said, "Lily's urn will be ready to come home in approximately 10 - 14 days." Lily came home eight days later. It was a beautiful carved wooden box with Lily engraved on identification plate on the front. I'm staying busing working on a photo and video album of Lily and reading a wonderful book a second time titled Rescuing Sprite: A Dog Lover's Story of Joy and Anguish by Mark Levin. My family and I have heartfelt thanks, blessings, and appreciation for everyone.
