This company (service and flowers) are awful! I would give ZERO stars if I could. I ordered $100 worth of flowers for my mom for Easter and selected the option for the florist to pick their flowers as I didn't want to order anything that was out if season. When they arrived they were beautiful. Then, less than 4 days later they were dead. I left them 2 voice messages without a response. When I finally spoke with someone (she said she was the owner), she sounded like she never heard about my issue. I told her what happened and she blamed the flowers dying early on excessive heat. She said the flowers should have lasted for 2 weeks. I assured her these flowers were in a temperature controlled environment and not near/on anything hot. I would have asked for another delivery but the fact that she clearly has less than the average customer service and florist skills, I asked for my money back. She said she couldn't give 100% back and offered 50%. That's not acceptable to me considering the flowers didn't last for 50% of what SHE said they should have lasted. I asked if she could offer more and she declined. I told her I'd have no choice but to dispute it on my credit card which is when she hung up on me. Unfortunately, I ordered these online and did not directly order thru this company. Had I seen the other reviews on Yelp, I would have never ordered from this company. I went through a third party ordering a huge order for my grandma's Funeral. On Saturday, November 9th I called and place an online order and petal flowers are the one fulfilling the orders. I placed an order for 13 sprays and 1 coffin flowers which suppose to be delivered Wednesday, November 13 at noon for the viewing day. When we arrive to the funeral home at 1:39 PM flowers weren't even there. I contacted the number I had and notify them that flowers wasn't there yet. He assure me that flowers will be there before the viewing time at 5 PM. At 5 PM all the visitors arrived, there were 2 sprays and 1 coffin flower delivered. First of all where's the rest of my order. Second of all it didn't look like the pictures at all. Third of all we paid extra for the ribbons so it can state our names on each sprays, nothing was on there. Not only this is a very important event for my family but this has made me very disappointed. The flowers looks like it's been thrown on there with no work of a great florist and quantity of flowers was even worst. On top of that 8 sprays weren't even delivered. If your shop cannot fulfilled an order like this, you should of been upfront about this. The only way this order fell on your lap is because it was directed by another vendor. I'm a yelp elite and if I knew that they will outsource this order to your florist I would of cancel the order due to all of the previous yelp review There's other sprays that was delivered from Carl Johnsen's Florist that look breathtaking and made Petals Florist arrangements looks like a joke. read more

Ordered flowers on Friday for my BFF who is in the hospital. Asked if they could be delivered that day was told no. So I asked if they could guarantee delivery first thing in the morning because she was being released. The lady on the phone tried to get me to send them to her home so they would be there when she got there. However she lives alone what are you going to do set them outside and leave them until she gets there. I didn't what that. So I asked again can you get them there in the morning she spoke to someone else who was speaking Spanish and stated we will deliver them today. Well they never sent the flowers. Had I known they were not going to send them that day I would've used my sister the owner of The cherry Tree who does fabulous work at a decent price. Well I called my BFF this morning after calling the shop and leaving a message to which they never returned and she stated she didn't receive the flowers however someone called looking for her but she was out for a procedure. I called the flower shoo again and asked if they sent the flowers yet she laughed and said oh yes we just sent it. No I'm sorry nothing.i just said ok and hung up. I'm so mad at them for lying to me. Like I said my sister could've done this for me today and my friend still hasn't gotten her flowers.I'll update you if and when she does. It's 10:10 now. If I had read the other reviews on here first I would've never used them. From an angry never again customer. Update she finally received her flowers and I'm not happy. Not inexpensive. Was told the flowers would be delivered to my wife's office by noon. I called at noon bc they weren't there. Was told "they should be there. The driver left at 10:30. Can I call him and call you back?" Waited another 30 min. No call back. Wife then called about her own anniversary flowers bc they were still not there and she needed to leave for Houston. Was told that "she" was going to be here soon. No idea what happened to the male delivery person. Flowers arrived at 12:40. At least they were pretty. read more

Well we ordered flowers for a funeral and they have not shown up! We ordered a large spray and a live plant for a funeral for our nephew totaling over $200. We used the FTD link from the mortuaries web site, spoke with the FTD representative who got the owner on the phone to place the order. We were guaranteed delivery on the day before the viewing. So glad we flew in for this funeral. How else would we have known that this place took our money and did not deliver. Well the actual funeral is tomorrow, I will try to repost and update. Maybe we can get half the value out of this order. Not sure what can be done about the embarrassment. Don't use these people, especially if your from out of town and can't verify delivery read more

Horrible!!! I recently ordered a spray for a family member's funeral. I had requested that it be there a specific day by noon for the visitation. I assumed I had been taken care of. I got a thank you note that said thank you for the peace Lily. I knew this could possibly be a mistake so I called the funeral home and asked about their procedure when flowers come in. They looked in their book and even looked at their video, the spray did not arrive but a lily did The next day about an hour before the funeral. I called petals and they swore they delivered the spray. They never would answer my question as to why the flowers( now plant) were not delivered when I requested. The funeral home shows they delivered the plant. As I continue to question them they called me a liar that doesn't want to pay my bill! You have to be kidding it was already on my credit card. I will never ever use them again! read more

Will not use this florist again!! Called in order on Monday afternoon and was told the flowers would be delivered by Tuesday at noon. Never showed. Called Wednesday and was told that even though the order clearly stated deliver on Tuesday, they did not and decided to deliver on Wednesday. Was then told "we will make the order bigger for the same price." No worries, they probably won't get delivered anyway. Bad business!! read more

Our oldest daughter ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to her younger sister who just got out of the hospital...on a Saturday...at 5:45 pm no delivery...I called and left a message regarding the "no show" to please call me regarding the delivery. I also requested a fresh bouquet if delivered on Monday...or to refund my oldest daughters credit card. Ordered Mothers day flowers on the FTD.com site. They chose Petals for a delivery in Vidor. Petals employees were rude to my mother when she called after the unsuccessful delivery. (Mom was not home). They told her she would have to come to Bmt to pick up the flowers, but after she complained, they did finally deliver. Not my idea of a pleasant Mothers Day bouquet !!!!! read more
