We made the 40 min drive from Santa Rosa to arrive by 10am to find locked doors. An attendant opened the door and said they open at 11am on Sunday. I told them to check their vm, check their website and then check Google because it was miss leading. We waited in front until they opened shop and my son was patient. Hopefully they've worked out that kink. We really wanted to try a new mini golf course. Although it was exciting to play on a new course. Their 18 hole putt-putt was in need of some TLC (see attached pics). There is a key to thier single stall indoor bathroom. So if you have children, lan accordingly and please know that you'll have to go search for the key to use they bathroom. We are undecided if we'd go out of our way to come back.

An hour later the system came back online - though lost my place in line. Nice one. Still managed to get some nice seats on the lawn. Parking Ingress is terrible. One lane into the lot. Zero traffic management =massive traffic delays. Event ingress is similarly poor. Untrained staff, disorganized entry. Massive delays as they enact security theater on thousands. I'm due there were people on line who would miss the entire first act while trying to get in. Food/drink lines similarly screwed up. Card readers not working, slow service, very slow throughput. No excuse for this level of service. After wet make it to our table at the front of the lawn we discover the band is in there at far end of the building - at least 150ft away!.Cannot even see the stage. This odd at concert - you are music going to watching it in projection. Nobody inside either. Just put the simmer stage at the back of the billing and make it an outdoor theater- not this idiotic double venue. Ungodly loud. Hitting over 120db on spl! Gen sorry for folks without hearing protection- this will cause hearing damage. Nice sound system, but irresponsibly loud. First class venue with third-world event management. It'sa real shame, this place could be incredible if someone who knew how to manage events took over. Take a clue and study how the Greek Amphitheaters in Berkeley does things. Maybe it's just an I'm too old/it's too loud thing. Or maybe SSU of running the potential of this resource with such tremendous potential. Truly disappointing...

The Greek vendors were friendly and patient when I asked for no onion in my salad. I got a ham and cheese gluten-free crepe that was yummy and plentiful. But watch out for the dessert crepes-they are small. All vendors accept debit and credit cards. If you want to sit down and see a picnic table that isn't full, you can ask the people there if you can share the table. Or bring your own chair. I really appreciate the bathrooms with flush toilets. In other venues, I don't like using porta-potties. We got there early, about 1:30 PM, on Saturday, July 31. At the carnival, the lines to go on rides were short. They got longer in the evening. Most of the rides were fun, but The Zipper is a problem. It's basically a cage where 2 people get into a harness. As the structure rotates, the cage swings any which way. You go upside-down a few times. The problem is that it jars your head. Two of the young ladies in my party stopped going on rides after going on The Zipper. One got nauseous/dizzy, but she is OK now. The other got a headache that lasted the rest of the day. A third lady is fine. So the reactions vary. I recommend avoiding The Zipper. There are other exciting rides that you won't regret. There was live music and dancing. Bring earplugs or stand off to the side. It's a bit too loud.

The theme was "celebrations" which didn't seem very creative. The food the last couple of years has been super expensive and way greasy. We bought tickets to the cirque me'ceo and the show was just OK. You're not allowed to bring in food that you purchased from the booth right outside the tent in with you which is crazy because if you have to pay to get into the fair in order to pay to get into the cirque you should be able to bring in food you bought from the fair. This is the second year the horse races have not been there and it doesn't look like they'll be coming back.

The homeless guys outside the fence watched every game and knew every player. They were fine. Sadly, the mental illness was prevalent the the others and I was afraid to walk to my car. The Pacifics are so fun to watch. My experience was tainted by the outside experience of Albert Park.

The game had just started when we arrived. It was a playoff game, so it was packed. We got tickets at the gate for $15 each for left field, the only option available. There isn't a great way to get around the stadium. We walked in front of everyone in the stands and happened to run into Rawhide, their mascot! After a quick selfie, we found ourselves in the grass/dirt to get to our seats. I regretted my flat sandals. We sat in the bleachers out in left field. We could see and hear everything. The game was low scoring but entertaining. The announcer had events between innings for the kids etc and plenty of fun songs and sound effects. Players were hitting foul balls into the stands and parking lot. No one got hurt but I bet some cars were dented. They had chosen the designated beer hitter - a player on the opposite team. When he was up to bat, if he struck out, beers were half off for the rest of the inning! It happened at least twice. Food looked pretty good. They had a local restaurant set up under an easy up, cooking. It was called Jacob's and they have a restaurant one mile south of the stadium (Jacob's Restaurant). We left after the kids raced the players through the field which was about the 7/8th inning. I think the stompers lost as they were trailing for awhile. Bathrooms were in an elevated trailer, clean, air conditioned, separate men/women. I can see why the locals enjoy the games. It was fun. I just wish they had a better sidewalk around the field. And Rawhide's costume needs a good cleaning. Poor guy smells like several summers. Overall great value and a good time.

One gripe I have is that I wish the workers were a bit more attentive. We went on Monday and there wasn't anyone at the front desk for maybe 10minutes. They didn't have us watch the safety/instructional video which normally plays on a loop at the front of the pit gate. We had two double karts because our kids are young and we were put in a race with multiple other adults. The employees in the pit were good, one was a young lady who seemed new and a young man who obviously had much more experience. I'm on the shorter side and he recognized I needed the pedals adjusted and a booster seat. He also rechecked all our belts because the girl didn't put them on tight enough. So during our race we had to go slowly for the first lap, but then it was on! Unfortunately, I had to go slow because my daughter is small and apprehensive about the whole experience. I'm sure we were a hindrance for the faster racers, but most were very respectful and drove around us. One person in particular (an older black man who uses the name "007 Speed") hit me into the barrier 3 times and hit my husband and son's kart at least twice. He hit us with such force both of my kids have been complaining of neck pain. I told the experienced male employee but no consequences for Mr. 007 Speed even though each time he hit us they overhead announced, "No hitting other drivers or barriers. Next time you will be out of the race." When the race was done Mr. 007 Speed never acknowledged what he did or apologized. As we were leaving we saw him complaining at the front desk. So overall, I really like this place. It's geared for children and families, but definitely for anyone who wants to have fun. It would be ideal if they grouped drivers separately like they do for junior racers. I originally wanted to leave a 1-star review, but I'm giving 2 stars because the assistant manager and kitchen manager were genuinely helpful and tried to make things better. Before our outing, my manager spoke with whoever handles bookings multiple times to confirm our reservation. The package we were told was $50 per person for 3 races, 4 pizzas, and space for our team, totaling $1,084 for 18 people. Each time, my manager confirmed that it included 3 races, and we were told they were having issues booking it correctly in the system but would fix it when we arrived. When I pulled up, I noticed most of the staff outside. Maybe it was a break or a slow day, but when I walked in, no one was at the register. I walked around until I found someone to help me, who I believe was the kitchen manager. She was awesome and connected me with the manager, who was outside. The manager, who I believe was Jordan, checked my party in and confirmed that we were getting 3 races for $50 per person. At that point, everything seemed fine. Unfortunately, 4 of my team members could not make it, and we were told they could not refund the $200. The assistant manager was great and gave us credit instead for food and game cards, which we appreciated. She handled that situation with great customer service. Where the experience went sideways was when we were waiting for our third race. The manager then told us he did not make the change and that we would need to pay an additional $20 per person for the third race. I was confused because we were told multiple times before the event, and again when we checked in, that the package included 3 races for $50 per person. At that point, my team was expecting 3 races. We had paid for 18 people, 14 showed up, and the 4 no-shows were credited toward food and game cards. I also noticed they had a Thursday special for $20 per race, so I asked if they could at least price match and refund $10 per person for the 14 people since we were not getting the third race. That would have been $140. The manager said party packages do not work that way. But from a customer standpoint, it felt like we would have been better off just paying individually and buying the pizzas ourselves instead of spending over $1,000 on a package that was not honored the way it was explained to us. As a business owner myself, I was honestly shocked by the lack of accountability and hospitality from the manager. I even told my management team that this was a perfect example of what not to do in our own business. My business partner was also upset and went to speak with the manager. He asked if the owner could be contacted so they could discuss the situation owner to owner. Unfortunately, the situation got worse. The manager got into a loud verbal argument with my business partner in front of customers and kids. That part was completely unacceptable. Instead of trying to de-escalate, make things right, or at least show some level of hospitality, the manager became confrontational. To the owner of this establishment, I hope you take this feedback seriously. The assistant manager deserves recognition because she handled herself professionally and showed real hospitality. She either has hospitality experience or it comes naturally to her, but either way, it should not go unnoticed. Business owner to business owner, the assistant manager was the bright spot in this experience. The manager, on the other hand, did not take accountability for what we were told during booking or what he confirmed when we checked in. I'm more than happy to update this review if the owner replies and makes this right.
