I scheduled an evaluation on Monday, December 6th, 2021 for Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at 4:00 pm. I did this through their website on their automated calendar system. The slot for 4:00 pm was available. I received two automated emails that my appointment was confirmed. My husband and I took off of work. On December 8th, 2021 we arrived with our doggy. The worker came out and explained that our session was canceled by Emily because she had a dinner party to go to. The worker explained only Emily could do the evaluation, and we would have to come back another day. She stated Emily would reach out to me on how to move forward. On December 9th, 2021 Emily did reach out to us and this is when I began to become suspicious. Instead of Emily looking to reschedule with us, she sent us a thank you email for attending the evaluation. All of you can obviously guess the scam here. She wants to secure her $100 by claiming she delivered a service she never did. This email was not automated and from Emily as we would begin a long thread of arguments. The end game for us was to return our $100 since she was borderline committing a theft by deception. Emily claimed she was at an organizational dinner-party that happens once a year. Emily believed since she had called once that morning to cancel that was satisfactory and the fact I missed the call was my problem. It was less than 8 hours notice. Emily also claimed since I was complaining about not receiving the service she didn't want to work with my kind. It's pretty obvious Emily intended on stealing our $100. If she is the CEO and founder, she knew her holiday dinner-party was already scheduled and that she wouldn't be available for our appointment. She made no attempts to genuinely reach me after two days of the service being scheduled. And after just one email she stated she wouldn't evaluate my dog. Also, she explained when I stated I would seek a chargeback, that she has plenty of experiences with these situations and that it would be very hard to get my money back and "good luck." Continuing with the deceiving trend, her website states she is BBB certified but if you check this website she clearly is not. Emily is a liar all in all and doggy owners: BEWARE!!!!! Do not bring your dog there. Now that I'm doing more research it's a horror. Many reviews claim their dogs were traumatized or became sick while being in her custody. I know the claim there is three sides to a story. I have attached screenshots of the conversation so you all can be the judge.

We first started working with Tom when we brought our second (yes second!!) puppy home. We were trying to integrate 2 puppies under 6 months old (a Lab and Shih Tzu) in 1 household. Tom gave us reassurance and additional tips and tricks to manage the household with 2 puppies. Our Lab went through the offleash training program that Tom has to offer and it is incredible how quickly she learned! Tom has the patience that you'd want in any dog trainer and is so extremely knowledgeable. He treated our dogs like they were his own and never rushed us through our sessions. Tom takes the time and really invests his energy into his clients and their success. During the timing of our offleash training, we were experiencing some territorial behavior issues with our Shih Tzu. If it wasn't for Tom, I don't know how we would have ever gotten our Shih Tzu to be where he is now. He is a completely better and different dog than he was. He listens better than any Shih Tzu I have ever met (especially being a stubborn breed)! If you are looking for a trainer who cares, who is knowledgeable, and who will invest the time into your dogs, you found the right person. All that Tom did with Dahlia (6 months old) Tulip (7 years old) wanted to be included which Tom did willingly. He would show me something a few times then hand me the leash to do it myself. Everything he taught 'us' we did at least 2-3 times a day every day and that is what you have to do to keep the puppy learning. Of course his Happy Howie treats that he carries in a bag no his belt was the best incentive ever. He even sent me a picture of what I should buy on Amazon. Both dogs love it and really listen to the commands to get some of the treats. Even Tulip does "Place" now a well as Dahlia! I can't say enough about Tom...his manner, personality and his huge repertoire are the best things about him except his professional manner. Dahlia and I are working hard on 'off leash' and he is doing really well. I would recommend Tom to anyone having an behavior problems.. Our main goals were to address poor manners when people came over (jumping/barking), poor leash manners (pulling/leading the walk/leash aggression for one of them), and all around general behavior training. We wanted, and needed, help to rectify these things before our son became truly mobile. We emailed Pat on a Friday night and he called the next day. We spoke for over an hour and he reassured us that things would be okay. We scheduled a training session for later that week and haven't looked back. He is an incredible teacher; he took the time to learn about our dogs, our family dynamic, and what our hopes were for the training sessions. He began teaching us right away and showed us how to get into the minds of our dogs. We are five sessions in and there has been such a vast improvement already. We are currently working on walking both dogs and pushing the stroller - a dream of mine - that is soon to be a reality. We genuinely look forward to each session and getting to hang with Pat. Our pack was definitely out of whack but Pat has been instrumental in teaching us how to teach our dogs and reframe our thinking. Those puppy teeth can hurt, so I had to nip this in the bud. She also would try relentlessly (but still fail due to her small size) to get a bite of my dinner, jump on the couch, etc. It feels like my girl did a complete 180 over night. In addition to helping me understand commands, Joana made other great recommendations. For example, I couldn't be more thrilled with the food she suggested. Lana not only LOVES her food, but she is and will continue to be much healthier as a result. If it weren't for Joana, Lana wouldn't be the girl she is today. She is on the mend and much better with love, care and lots of Reiki treatments :) However she still needed obedience and to learn to be a good doggie with manners and to walk on a leash properly but almost every puppy training class declined her due to not having "choke" collar and I was told it is a strict protocol to have her on it to be in class even though she is only 12 pounds. I tried a school and while it is a positive and fun school for her it was not helping with walking on a lead and her focus issues that is typical for a terrier breed. I cannot thank Greg enough for his approach and expertise! YOU are truly an amazing dog trainer! Greg came to my house for one session and literally put it all in synch for Brandi and me :) He did not even consider the harness he was able to gain her attention, control and respect within one hour and without choking her with a collar.
