So this is a complicated review to write. They did a lovely job grooming my dog, but the prices were astronomical. 170$ for a dog groom. And then they expected a tip, and that always breaks my heart because I want to make sure staff are getting paid when they do a good job but a tip on top of 170$?? I actually have never heard the like of it. The staff were lovely and they did a great job so if you can afford it then go for it. But it just seems really expensive for a dog groom. read more

Place was great when it started. Since then they've raised prices, and apparently have some computer issues. Booked an appointment, have been here many times and the service is usually good. But this time they had me standing there for 20 minutes cause their computer system was down. When they finally got it working, they told me that my dogs vaccines were expired and that they couldn't provide their services. So I walked over there, had my time wasted and walked back home after an unfortunately inefficient experience. Why not confirm such before you waste your customers time in the future? Would take a lot to get me to return after this experience. read more

Love Ruff to Fluff! Nikki does such an amazing job grooming my dog Harry. She has such a great patience and love for the dogs and cats that she grooms, bathes and cares for. My dog Harry has been groomed by her, bathed by hair and had his hair dyed fun colors by her! He always leaves Ruff to Fluff smelling lovely and happier because he's clean and fresh. Would recommend anyone here who needs help to maintain their pets! read more

I tried this place because it was close to home and I liked that they allow you to stay and watch. First negative to me, was that I booked with Nikki because she was listed in the reviews with really great feedback. When I arrived, she asked me questions about my dog and what I wanted but then passed us off to another young girl. She did not relay what we wanted to her and then she left for the day. I told the young girl myself that we wanted sensitive skin stuff for the bath and that we just adopted her and she's very scared of everything. She reassured me that she would take her time and would give our dog breaks if needed. That sounded like great news! Well then she proceeded to scream talk over the grooming noise to the other groomer working the entire time. Cackling and yelling for 3 hours. My dog was visibly uncomfortable and terrified. The haircut was hideous and she didn't do anything I asked. (For example, I said I wanted to keep some length and she shaved her) The second time I tried again and picked a different day and a different groomer. The vibe was much calmer and quieter so I was happy with that. But this time, my dog had been with me a few months and wasn't as timid. However she was just as scared of the grooming experience. She was really afraid of the scissors around her face and kept trying to escape when they got near her eyes. I said to the groomer multiple times that it was okay, we could stop because she was clean and good enough but she persisted. I didn't appreciate that she wouldn't listen and put my dog through extra stress. I also later realized that both times they did not clip her nails! The second time she also did not trim between her pads so very quickly she was sliding all over the hard wood floors. Overall, it doesn't seem like they care about their clients or building trust with the dogs. It's $100 minimum for not so great service. They list all these things you get with a groom and all we ever got was a bath and a haircut. No nails, no teeth, no ears, definitely no facial. They get you in with the cute shop, free drinks, option to stay and work, but it's so not worth it at all when your dog is traumatized for 3 hours straight. read more

They trimmed my dog's nails too short. I know it can happen ( once ) however she did it on 5 nails. I didn't release it just when I got home. My little baby was in pain and he was scared. He didn't want walk or stand up in the next 4 hours. And what makes me even more upset that she didn't even tell me what happened. read more

Do not come here if you have a puppy who's new to grooming and a little bit nervous! They are not experienced with handling puppies and this place is not a good choice for first-timers. We were charged $115 for our puppy to be bathed and "de-matted" only she was returned to us still full of knots and not a single inch of hair trimmed. Actually, her chin was mangled trying to get out a knot which is still there. I was able to trim more of my dog and get her knots out in 3 minutes than they were able to do in almost 3 hours. Puppies have to pee constantly -- it can't take 3 hours to give them a bath! On top of this, they could've been polite but chose the disrespectful route, calling our sweet puppy a Tasmanian devil and a sour patch kid. They also insulted our training, which we are consistent with and have had professional training. We desensitize with her daily! This is simply not how to treat a customer with a puppy who's new to grooming and unsure of the salon atmosphere. After our first grooming with them went south as well we decided to give them another shot, but I wish we hadn't. First time puppies beware! read more

I'm confused by the reviews. This place is great. A kind team, they're always quick to answer the phone. He always comes home with a cute seasonal scarf, bandana, tie, something funny. They're all knowledgeable. I've met the owner when it first opened, and she's lovely. I've had a horrible time finding a great groomer locally and her business is perfect! Great decor and a staff member suggested a treatment for $14/15 when I mentioned he was having skin irritation. 10/10 read more

Nikki always does an amazing job and this place is so convenient! We got an express bath after my wife had just given birth. It was so nice to have this service while we didn't have time to bathe our pup, and he came back smelling even better than when we bathe him ourselves! read more

My pup is terrified of grooming, and I had hoped having me stay might help. Instead, I was pressured to leave. When I returned over and hour and a half later my dog was crying and had been left alone and shivering for who knows how long tethered to the grooming table. It took over three hours to finish, and they never even cut his nails. They then recommended I come monthly so my dog can get used to grooming, before letting me know their price was going up to $150 per grooming. For that fee, he should be comforted the whole time he's there and his nails should be trimmed! read more

I took my 10 year old Pomeranian-Mix to get a full bath and cut which I indicated on the form (along with his breed) and spoke with my groomer upon arrival about my wishes. One hour later she calls and says she doesn't feel ethically safe to groom my pet as per his breed requires a double coat. I let her know that he has been getting shaved/cut for his entire 10 years and has a perfectly healthy coat and she still refused. I respect her choice but why would this not be flagged at the time of booking or at the time of arrival? They wasted 1.5 hours and the stress it causes on my pet being held there. I have never had this issue before and would not recommend if you are looking to have your pet shaved/cut. read more

Although this place is a trek for me to get to, I will be returning. I dropped off my Maltese for a grooming and they did such an amazing job. Momo came back clean, fluffy, breath smelling better, ears cleaned and stains removed. She looked incredible and they even gave her scarf! My best friend even complimented how amazing my dog looked. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I was unsure if they trimmed her nails. The nails were still long. I know they could have gone shorter because her old groomer would cut it shorter and I could see her quicks were not that long. Also, her face smelled like vinegar (it could have been to remove the stains, but the smell was unpleasant). read more

I wanted to like them. I liked the setup was very open so I could see where they groom dogs. It started with me leaving my 14 lb fur baby at the groomer around 2 pm. I asked the groomer how long it would take approximately. Groomer said about 2 hours but it runs longer they will call me to inform. Two hours 20 minutes later, I call them about a status update. They said my dog will be ready in 25 mins and that they will see me then. I get there 30 mins after the call. Groomer let's me in. She's the only one person working there. Shes talking to another dog owner with her back to my dog. My dog is on the high table with a noose around her neck. Unattended. No other restraint that would keep her from falling off the table and hanging because the groomer LEFT HER UNATTENDED WITH A NOOSE AROUND HER NECK WITH HER BACK TURNED TO MY DOG. As soon as my dog locks eyes with me, she gets excited and before you know it she's hanging by her neck off the table. I will never be able to forget that image of my baby dangling by that noose. I run past the groomer and the barrier to save my dog and get a hold of her. The other dog owner in the room is stunned at what she's seeing. The groomer very non chalantly walks to us and unhooks my dog and just says "oh it's fine. she got excited" Offered no explanation as to why she left my dog unattended with a noose around the neck. No apology. I was shocked beyond words and it took me a while to process what happened. I came back home and absolutely broke down about what could have happened if I had not been there to save her. Or what if she has broken her neck. If this is how they treat dogs when customers are in the room, I cannot even begin to imagine how reckless they must be when no one's watching. read more
