I really appreciated the openness they have about the facilities, they have scheduled interviews with new dogs and owners where the walk the grounds with you. This is very different than my previous daycare where I was not allowed in the back areas. The workers there absolutely adore the dogs, and my dog adores them too. There are some days where he sees me at pickup and turns around the other way to go back in. I do think this type of daycare, due to the amount of dogs, requires certain temperments. I could see some dogs getting overwhelmed/stressed. My dog's favorite activity is following other people/animals or getting them to chase him, so this environment works well for him. He still does get some times to rest however. Another thing that is great is that they have a live cam for both small dog area and the large dog area. That paired with the photos they post on social media i's helpful for me to ensure my dog still seems to be having a good time. He always has his tail up and looking happy so it seems good for me. The biggest gripe I have is that 80% of the time when he comes back he stinks really terribly.

I took my golden retriever there for a groom and wash for the first time. I wanted to get him cut…read moreshorter. The groomer stated he would give him a "summer cut" and cut him down to the hair length of a lab. I expressed my concern to have it short but longer than that. The result was a shaved golden retriever, where some spots have completely bare skin. For a groomer to not understand a golden reliever coat, and that it is a double coat completely baffles me. You never shave a golden. It's lazy and wrong and to charge $70 for something my child can do is insane. It's going to take a lot of work to have his coat grow back appropriately. I was in disbelief when I saw the end product. This groomer is equivalent to what comes out of my Golden's butt.

She did so well in fact that they suggested trying to groom her without sedation next which would be amazing. Everyone there seems to really care about the dogs and doesn't just treat it like a chore. I have had bad grooming with my dogs in the past and wish I knew about this place sooner. The owner Jackie groomed my dog and asked lots of questions and really cared and wanted to know how she could make Luna more comfortable.
