Jennifer Brown is the worst - and supposedly a "manager". Rolled her eyes at us after inquiring about some salt water fish. Walked away from us multiple times and gave us attitude. We asked about two dead fish that were in a tank with one that we had wanted. That's when she decides to roll her eyes at us once again, as if these two dead fish haven't been clearly in there for a while. She has absolutely no customer service skills and obviously does not care about the animals that are in that store. Will never go back to this place. read more

This Petco store is very huge with a variety of food selection and items for dogs. Majority of the store sells mostly dog items. I notice this is a community with a ton of dog owners than any other kind of pet. I love that they have a ton of treats at the entrance for dogs. Lots of toys for all types of breeds. They also sell aquarium food and fishes even a few birds in the store. This location also offers grooming and pet training classes as well. I found everything in stock for items I needed for my puppy while on the road. Overall a positive experience with amazing staff. Highly recommend this store a visit especially if you own a dog you will definitely find everything you need. read more

My pets always appreciate the fact that they now stock their food favorites, Tiki dog and cat selections. The staff is always helpful if any specific items are needed or making suggestions for others. I especially appreciate their aisles being wide enough to move in. We have a similar pet store in our town, so I was all ready to look down at this store as a pale comparison, but I stand corrected! It far exceeded my expectations.. Staff member Dominique even offered our dog treats as we walked in. The rest of the staff seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. It's like a more spacious, open and brighter/happier pet store. I love how you can look over the shelving units now...(if you're 5'9 I guess!). The adoption center is waaay smaller than PetSmart's though. Not a particularly bad thing, just pointing it out. If we lived a little closer, I'd consider coming here over other pet stores, for sure. read more

Traveling with my daughters cat and she got car sick. Found Petco on the way. MELANIE and JENNIFER were so helpful and it was so appreciated. I was able to clean Remington and her pet carrier, then shop for emergency supplies, calming stuff, kitty shampoo and anything extra to help calm this kitty. Thank you MELANIE and JENNIFER for going above and beyond to help me and offer your expertise on things I should purchase for Remington. Petco is lucky to have these two star employees on the team. I was visiting from out of town and decided to take my dog to the local dog park where she decided to roll around in fresh mud! I stopped by this Petco which is right by my hotel and Josh was completely accommodating! They were able to call my vets office to confirm all her vaccines and took her in right away for me! As a pet owner, I come here a lot. Petco has everything that I need for my furry little family members and more, and I can't complain about that. This review is written exclusively about the service and cleanliness. Every time we go to this Petco, its a hassle to check out. Once it was because the clerk was having a personal conversation with a friend of theirs that came in and cut the line, but usually its due to the fact that there is no one at the register. Most recently, I went with a friend and we waited nearly 10 minutes Finally, we flagged down a nice employee who seemed to be stocking shelves. He got someone to assist us at the register. The person who checked us out was efficient, but very abrupt and not very friendly. As we were leaving the store, we saw the staff pictures on the wall and noticed that he was the store manager. Says a lot. My second concern is regarding the cleanliness. There were spiderwebs with living, moving spiders all along the ceiling and the entire display of animal cages and habitats. The sheer amount of webs and the size of the spiders lead me to believe that the webs have been there a loooooong time. I'm not scared of spiders or easily skeeved, but this made me sad. You guys are taking care of ANIMALS, and its worrisome that even basic cleanliness isn't being taken care of. Such a disappointment. read more

Literally the worst pet store I have ever gone to and Ive worked at one so I would know what a bad and good one looks like and this is it. Everytime I go , which is only because i need to, im waiting 10 minutes at the register just for someone to come. Sometimes theyll be talking in the office and letting the line build up. The manager lady and employees are rude and dont even greet or ask if you need help. They neglect their bettas and animals and dont even know proper diets and temperatures for their reptiles. Their bettas sit in filthy water, sometimes with no water left. Ive had to refill some of those cups for them behind their backs. They clearly dont care about their animals or the people that shop here. Every single time is a horrible experience. Learn about your animals and appreciate your customers, especially during covid 19 financial loss. read more

Lots of things you can't get else where in the valley, quality dog food (whole earth farms FTW!). Probably the only place to get salt water fish so that's pretty cool. Nice and friendly staff, they can show you and pet the animals. They are also helpful when seeking for help but some customers can be rude and even let their dog relieve themselves without picking/cleaning up after them. Sometimes it's like they just take them to do the restroom. Overall I enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the store, I continue to go as a loyal customer read more

The reason i went to petco was because i had to buy food for my leopard geckos. I ended up buying the super worms, item # 000557358 superworm-lg-50ct $5.99, the container clearly states it contains 50 super worms. I ended up feeding my geckos only 35 worms because thats what the container had. I called the petco phone number to let them know, and a lady somewhere in the Philippines answered. Saying she eas the custmer service expert for petco. She hardly spoke english and obviously couldnt help me. I am very unhappy with petco at this point. read more

Fish tanks are full of poop and cloudiness. Dead fish in trash cans smelling up the store and visable to customers. Betta bowls used to transport bowls are all cracked and really dirty and there are dead fish on display, gross. The only guy in fish is working the register and has zero personality. Guess I'm forced to shop here since this is all that there is around here. Bummer. read more

I took my 3 furbabies today for the first time, and I am completely satisfied with the groomer here ( Breanna, whom is also the manager for the grooming department). We have taken our pets to other pet groomer shops (not Petco) and have had bad experiences, they never cut my pets hair the way I asked them to, but she did exactly what I asked. I will only be taking my babies to Breanna from now on! read more

They took into consideration that my dog has separation anxiety and offered the Zoom Groom for $10 more and in under an hour I had my baby back. I just got off the phone with a Petco employee from the Danenberg location and they responded very rudely when I asked a simple question. My question was if they had the fish on a specific feeding schedule so I don't overfeed my brand new fish and they responded with "uh yeah we feed the fish" in a very rude tone. So I proceeded to ask for a time and they responded with "I don't know the morning" in a unsure tone. I was asking since my fish is little and I do no want to have him go belly up, but I did not get the proper information. And he sounded very unsure about if they actually feed the fish at that time, which makes me feel as if they do not take proper care of the fish. Considering the fact that the betas also had lots of signs of stress. And on another note a cat sliced open my finger and the employee who saw it happen did nothing. They did not even check if I was okay, which I am but the cut is very deep and gnarly. read more

My two dogs are in great hands here. Breanna and Alyssa take care to make sure they are comfortable, and they know my dogs well enough to tell me when there is something wrong. I have a husky and a poodle mix who both need regular baths and haircuts, and they always look great and never seem stressed out by a trip to the groomers. read more

I was hesitant to take my 2 year old bichon to Petco Grooming but under new management I decided to give it a try on 8/24/11 and I was very pleased with the results. He looks gorgeous. My dog has been to a few groomers in the past and Petco is the best grooming he has ever had.
