She clipped his dewclaw nails, carefully cut his hair while avoiding all the growths he has and really clipped all the hair on his paw pads. We couldn't be happier. read more

I love going to petco but today it was a different experience. Jennifer is the rudest person I have ever met. When I asked for some help she huffed and puffed like it was a huge deal. When I was checking out I forgot something and she got all pissy because I had to get her to ring up one more thing. I absolutely love this store but not this Associate Update: I went in there today and the cashier had earbuds in and couldn't understand a word I was saying. Trying to get our cats to eat grain free has not been easy. After an exhaustive search at other stores we thought we would give this one a shot. Casper welcomed us as soon as we walked in. I was surprised to see the quality of the food they sell. No garbage here! All good holistic products sold here! We chose several different cans of food and proceeded to the checkout. Casper explained the return policy and strongly suggested I download their app as Petco will even price match their online site. She assisted us with getting a rewards card and made the shopping experience pleasant! I quickly ran around the store to see what else they stock. Well , they have everything I need for my cats and turtle! Also bunny stuff! And dog training/grooming. Pretty cool. We tried out their brand of food and my spoiled cats lapped it up! We had a dog gone good time at this friendly petco! As soon as we walked in - my partner and I were asked if they could assist with anything, it was a genuine ask, you know? Not that sarcastic or mandatory ask you get from some places. After that, we set out on our mission to grab our dog food and bunny treats! As we were cashing out - they answered all of my questions (I usually have a lot of questions!) and even helped me find and use coupons. The store was very clean and organized, it was set up different, but so easy to find everything and the prices were up to date. Even the best stores forget to change out a price tag every now and then. This Petco is a bit smaller, but the inventory was great - they had so many brands of pet food and do both grooming and dog training! read more

Not the best pet supply store in the area but at least the animals look taken care of. The store feels a little cluttered and the fish section is always a mess. Employees are hard to bother. The worst part about this location is the very off-putting smell of urine. The entry way needs a refresh. The smell lingers throughout the store. read more

I would give this location more that 1 star, but not after today. Normally when I go in to purchase items, I have no issues whatsoever, but today I went in to get crickets and worms for my Chameleon and was shocked at how my cashier acted. The receipt says her name is Karen, by the way. But I went in the store and straight back to get my worms, and then I looked around for a few minutes and then went to the register to also get my crickets and check out. I greeted Karen, and also asked for 5 large crickets, her response was "FIVE CRICKETS!?" Yes, she yelled at me to make sure what I said was correct. I politely said "Yes ma'am" and she rang up the worms and crickets. When asking for the phone number for the rewards program, my husband began to tell her and then she stopped him and yelled "319?!" Which was incorrect. He politely told her the correct phone number and I was able to pay for my items. While she stepped away to get the crickets, my husband and I both noticed that she had headphones on like she was listening to music. We figured that was why she couldn't hear us, even though we were talking loud and clear. I love this store, and I love the variety of animals and items they have, but I don't know if we will be returning back to this store after today. read more

Didn't bother to call me to reschedule or anything. Spoke to the manager who basically said "oh well have a nice day" with zero concern. I'll contact corporate. read more

I needed a nail trim on my dog. I called and was told to come on down. I got there and one groomer and left for the day at her regular time and the other was sick and had gone home. No biggie, that kind of thing happens. I waited two days and called again. I was told the groomers were 'covered up' and to come on down. I arrived and there was a sign on the door that the groomer was sick and none were unavailable that day. Understandably frustrated I asked an employee why I was told something that obviously was not true. Her only response was "you didn't talk to me." There was zero effort to address the issue or apologize for inconveniencing a customer. I went down the road to a competitor and was greeted with prompt, professional service and better pricing. Guess where I won't be shopping now? read more

Bad experience today. Waited for someone to come up front to check me out. Could hear voices in the office talking so I called the store twice with no answer. Heard the announcement for a customer service call over the intercom each time. Finally Jennifer came out of the office still in conversation and helped a customer that had just walked up even though I had been waiting. So no one up front at all, conversations going on in the office, not answering the phones, and bad customer service. When I told Jennifer I had been waiting and calling, she made no apology what so ever, tried to say the phone must have been busy, shocked when I told her I heard the call announcement over the intercom. I own a few businesses myself and would consider an employee like her a liability. No responsibility whatsoever. As a long time customer of this store, todays events have persuaded me to shop elsewhere in the future. Unacceptable. * editing to show that now I've read all the reviews and this isn't the first time this woman has received a bad review, or the first time management said they would address the situation. So don't think they are going to fix this problem, it's been at least 6 mos since management said they would take care of this one....she must be irreplaceable!!! We really like the grooming salon at this store. The staff is very friendly and does a great job. Go see Jerry- he's fantastic!

What a fantastic experience! We went in to find out info on getting a new pet and the associate went above and beyond what we expected. We walked away with great knowledge, supplies, and Lizzy the bearded dragon for our son. A shame really, I liked this store but the fact they sold me kaytee bedding infested with bedbug eggs pretty much kills any chance of my returning. Bad on kaytee for apparently deciding to just sell the infested bedding on super sale but bad on pet co for selling bedding destined to hatch and devour my pet. Luckily I open our bedding and store it in sealed bags. The little monsters hatched inside and I found out when they swarmed my hand when I stuck it in to give him new bedding a month latter. Nasty as hell but we avoided a srs infestation that would have happened if we used this product right away. Terminators cleared the house and we had to turn over all the bedding to be burned. I won't be a customer again. read more

A T. My first experience at Petco grooming was wonderful this recent one the other day was horrible. I was called to say that my dog had an accident due to her being not used to the dryer which was uncommon for her because she had no problems whatsoever on her first visit. At any rate they had to use the hand dryer's and she was not fully dry and the store was about to close I said that was fine we will go ahead and handwrite her at home. When we came to pick her up she was all the way it was very excitable and it was difficult to calm her down her for was still on cut and the under for was not groomed I was ferry on satisfied which was a first for this experience the rest of the evening I had to clean out her cagebecause she threw up constantly throughout the night I have no idea what happened to my dog but I don't think I will take her back to that facility again. Which truly saddens me because I've always been very please with the service they have provided. read more
