She is so caring and I know our fur babies (cats, dogs and rabbits), as well as our turtle, fish and even my husband's hawk (he is a falconer) are in excellent hands. She sends pictures of our pets which eases the worry while we are gone. We have had other pet sitters and Kathy has been the absolute best. I can go away without worrying at all. We have some odd things, (feeding the hawk raw quail) that we needed done and she has been a trooper in doing them all and then some, like bringing in the mail and putting away garbage cans from the street and even watering plants. Kathy has also done some in home dog training consults with our dogs and I really like her style of dog training, very practical, respectful, and realistic. She is so knowledgeable and she's such a joy to be around. We are really going to miss her when she moves but are so grateful to have had her in our lives over the years. I gave her a 200$ tip because she said to pay her when I return I found out my beautiful baby was in a crate 23 hours a day. So I drove 9 hours to get him He was severely dehydrated & needed fluids from my vet. His eyes were sunken in and he was severely shut down It took 3 days for him to even wag his tail There's old fog feces in the corners of her tiny sand lot that was obviously raked there & never picked up She has no trainers license. No town permits. Not zoned for this business She is a horrid, person who's fabricated herself as a trainer Please. I came to Chris after having already placed some foundation on my dog with another trainer and training program. Chris took the time to understand my dog and his capabilities. Not only Quervo's strengths and weaknesses but also his relationship to me as a handler. He quickly identified areas of improvement and developed a strategy to help both Quervo and myself become a more successful unit. His attention to detail and training methods are battle tested and leagues ahead of what I would label as classic IGP training. The results speak for themselves and the number and variety of dogs reaching a podium under his program speaks volumes.  When my girlfriend and I took a vacation for several days over memorial day weekend we thought of nobody else but Chris to board our shepherds with. The dogs were boarded for a week and we received daily updates. He also sent pictures and videos unsolicited. Chris did an amazing job communicating. He was also very flexible/understanding with us after we had to slightly delay the scheduled pickup as our return flights were extremely delayed. Our dogs came back in wonderful condition and clearly had great rapport with Chris. In short, North Tampa Dog Training has first class facilities and a world class training program. I would not be where I am as a novice IGP handler and trainer without Chris and North Tampa Dog Training.

We started off with my then four year old German shepherd Beemer; he was my first IGP dog, and I had made a lot of mistakes in his foundation. We had to completely rebuild him in all three phases of the sport (tracking, obedience, and protection). Retraining, particularly on an older dog, is never an easy task, but Chris was always patient and fair with both of us. Outside of training, Chris has always made himself available if I have a question or concern. His system is clear and consistent, and he is able to easily communicate that system to his clients. My relationship with Beemer during training improved tenfold as Chris was able to eliminate so much of the confusion and conflict we were struggling with. I currently train all three of my IGP dogs with Chris. Each of my dogs are extremely different from one another in drive and temperament, but Chris is able to adjust his system to meet each dog as an individual and bring the best out of them. In addition to my own dogs, I have watched him work and care for countless others; the attention to detail is always the same, the dogs are in beautiful condition, and the kennels are immaculate. There is no one else I would trust with my dogs.

I thought "no big deal, they are small". However, a friend spent the weekend at my house, and much to my surprise, one of my babies nipped at their son. I was shook! I found Helene and she helped me understand how anxious my fur babies were, and that all of their behaviors were because they were so anxious about new people, dogs, places, etc. Helen took the time to get to know us before coming to our home, and even watch videos of their behaviors around strangers and other dogs.
