So disappointing! Will not bring my dog here ever again! I have had problems the last two times l I did. And I am done! This last time the groomer flat out refused to groom my dog because she didn't want to cut his hair as short as I wanted it. So I asked her if she could just cut it shorter than it is (which was actually quite long at the time). Not only did she say no, but she acted like I was stupid and was rolling her eyes at me. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Also, my friend recently told me that the last time she brought her dog here, they had to take him to the emergency because her dog cut his tongue on the scissors! The groomer here is obviously not capable of effectively doing her job! read more

I am actually shocked! This place went from terrible and unacceptable to the only place I will take my family and pets! The staff has done an incredible job and they've definitely stepped up and are much more friendly! The whole store is very clean and the feel is very homey and nice! The last time I was there I was allowed to hold a ferret and the whole family loved that! Keep up the good work! I come every week and it just gets better and better. 10/10 good job you guys! read more

Thanks to Tabitha in the Grooming department! My Yorkie had previously failed 2 other groomers. She accomplished a miracle, in my eyes. Yoshi nips, doesn't like to be touched by strangers. Somehow this wonderful young women seemed to accomplish the impossible. The vet even gave me drugs to calm him. Luckily, she advised me not to use them. Made another future appointment. read more

I come in her once in a while to grab food for my dog. I've been going for a couple months. Every time I go in there are atleast four people to greet me with a smile and ask if they can help me with anything and I'm only in there for 5 minutes. There is a girl with short short hair and I always miss her name but she's always very sweet. Overall their customer service is great! read more

Fuming right now! After taking our older dog for years this is the second week in a row with a scheduled appointment a 30 mile round trip drive just to show up and find out yet again that the groomer has called out and absolutely no one reached out to inform us. On top of that when the manager came out she assured me I had been contacted and asked if I was sure I scheduled an appointment because she was going to check! How about you pay for my gas and I will find somewhere new! read more

I take my dog to the groomers at this location. They are fabulous! I have a Rotweiler and the girls do a fabulous job . They spoil her more than I do. They come out on they floor to say Hi anytime I come to the store to shop. I can't say enough great things about Cindy, the dog trainer. I took classes and Cindy worked miracles with Heidi. Tony always says hi and gives Heidi a cookie. They are always ready to help read more

This place sucks. I will never return! I stopped by on Friday evening. I had a problem with my salt water fish tank and discussed it with sales person. The person suggested I purchase a star fish. I thought it sounded like a resonable idea. Well she was wrong. It started eating some very pretty green star polyp. Not a big problem. I moved the star fish to the sump until I could return it. The problem was the return. When I return the health star fish to the store I was told (for the first time) that it could not be returned. This was not mentioned when I bought it. This was not mentioned before I bought it. In my opinion, if a store is going to sell living things it needs to be prepaired for all phases of the sales process. If they can not process the returns of living animals than they are creating a situation where living animals are miss treated neglected and abused. This just another corperate chain store that doesn't care about the animals and only cares about the profit. I know its a long drive but That Pet Place is well worth the distance. read more

I just spent 90 minutes in their store trying to order an out of stock product to be shipped to the store. Due to multi-layers incompetence the end results is 1) I don't have the pet door I needed 2) It wasn't ordered 3) I have been charged over $200 that I will get reimbursed in 5 - 7 business days. They made a mistake and have temporarily stolen my money. But hey, at least their call center offered me a $5 coupon for the "inconvenience." Shop here if you want, but never, never, never let them order something in for you as they don't seem to know what they're doing. read more

Petco needs to work on proper "temporary" husbandry of their reptiles. There has been numerous occasions I had entered this (and a few others) where I have seen plenty of emaciated animals. A lot of times I buy animals from them because I have a hard time walking out of there without taking a neglected animal home. The cages are not set up for proper habitat husbandry so the animals are stressed, won't eat, become ill and eventually die. A few animals I had bought from there I had brought back from the brink of death but some of them were beyond help. Petco, get your stuff together and educate your employees about the importance of this. You want to sell healthy, happy animals. Create new policies to enforce this. Honestly, Petsmart isn't any better. read more

"It started Wednesday when my husband went in to grab dogfood and I asked him to make an appointment for my dog. Should be easy, after all, they had a sandwich board out front that said no appointment necessary. So he went in and stopped in to the Groomer and the woman said to bring him in "tomorrow". He said "what time?" She said anytime and finally said "1:00" She didn't write it down but he talked to her and everything seemed fine. The next day we go and sure enough, no appointment "go home!" We can do him on Easter Sunday! Really, what was the advertisement all about. Then they question my honesty...seriously, you want to get down to who's a liar, watch your own cameras. I ask for the Regional Managers name and phone, which she refuses to give me. (Oh by the way, they had no clients but couldn't do him right then because this "professional" didn't know how to groom a Cavalier.) After a 15 minute wait, in which she calls PetSmart to see if I made an appointment there, (how many times do I have to say, my husband ran in for Dog food), that they will take him the next day, at my convenience, and for free! Well, that was most generous and I was grateful and thought it was the correct gesture considering I live 1/2 hour away and had disrupted my day totally to get this done. So I take him back yesterday and after waiting 20 minutes they come and get him. I explain that he has some matting and just cut that off, that would be ok. I also told her she could cut him short on his legs and tail and leave his skirt at a minimum. When I went to pick him up (2 hours later than promised, he was shaved to a nub except for an uneven tuff of hair they left on his head. Beware of gifts, I got what I paid for, whatever. On my way back to the car, I realize that I saw 4 dogs and none where groomed, they were shaving them all. So for your summer, boy cut they may be fine, but if you like to actually have a "groomer" this isn't the place for you." read more
