They're involvement when designing, planning, producing and managing our event was professional, detailed, calm and above all friendly and approachable - which definitely contributed to the overall success of the event - It was really reassuring to have them around and will from now onwards be our single event partner, as they cater for everything you need and more.

Packages are tailored to customers needs, either managing the event from conception through to execution, or simply providing additional services to compliment an existing team. For example, with today's rigorous health and safety standards and security requirements, the legal constraints governing the staging of events can prove to be a daunting consideration and can over burden internal teams tasked with co-coordinating an event. They may also be required to book artists and performers, where again, the legal aspects of this process can be very time consuming, (not to mention the need to take care of the performers needs before, during and after the event). Technical considerations of staging an event can also be a scary prospect to those that have little or no experience of electronics. It is therefore usually wise to contract an outside agency to handle these aspects of the arrangements, if not the event in its entirety. Costly mistakes can be avoided, and the risk of being overwhelmed during the event are minimised. Production 78, being a full service event management company are pretty well equipped to deal with all manner of requirements.

In terms of customer experience, Fancy Dress Fanatics have got it nailed. The lady who owns the shop is lovely and really helps you get the right look; without trying to sell you moustaches or eye lashes you don't need. I went in with a few mates to try on some of the Oppo suits for a stag do (if you don't know what Oppo suits are, Google it). We were allowed to get the suits out of the boxes and try several on to get the right size. The lady said she would set up a spreadsheet for all 26 of us, take individual deposits and then the final amounts just before we leave, which I thought was great. As best man it certainly takes pressure off me. With lots of costume and fancy dress shops in Bristol, it's difficult to do anything really different. From the outside, Fancy Dress Fanatics don't really offer anything to set them apart, but go in, chat to the owner and try some stuff on - you'll see why I speak so highly of it. Great shop, but above all, great customer service/experience.

I'm glad i decided to come here as they had loads of stock without looking over full, loads of choice and i was allowed to not only take out the outfits from the packets i could try them on! My usual go to fancy dress shop does not allow this making it really difficult to assess whether it will fit or not. The shop is quite big with rental fancy dress at the back along with changing rooms. They sell contacts, any accessories you could possibly need and the best range of costumes i've seen to date. If you don't know what to go as (like me) then you'll get a hundred and one ideas popping in there, they have outfits i've never seen anywhere else which i love, something a bit different! Variety is the spice of life :) The staff were really nice and helped me when needed. Prices were actually cheaper than i was expecting to pay-bonus! I think this may replace the other shop as my go to fancy dress destination.

Paul Gwilym sowed the seeds for The Wedding Fayre Shop Ltd. Back in 2007 when he bought a chocolate…read morefountain and set up in business on Splott Road. Prior to that he had travelled the world, paying his way by working in venues, restaurants and bars. This provided him with all of the insights he needed in order to develop the chocolate fountain idea into what his business interests amount to today, which is essentially pretty impressive! The Wedding Fayre Shop is a multi service operation that attempts to provide clients with a one-stop shop for all of their wedding requirements. Everything is covered from the planning stage through to the provision of the details, such as venue selection, venue decoration, caterers, photographers, music... the full kit and kaboodle! It is possible to order ice sculptures, organise dove releases and even have a snow machine on hand just in case nature looks set to let you down on the day. The Wedding Fayre Shop sends equipment all over the UK, and Paul prides himself on being able to deliver ice sculptures to Edinburgh if he's commissioned to do so... and at a fraction of what it would cost if his clients were to have placed the order with a London business. What is perhaps most astounding about this business, (other than it's already a runaway success despite the timing of its inception at the beginning of the credit crunch), is that Paul was deaf and dumb as a child, with an outlook that offered him very little to be optimistic about. By his own admission he was an angry young man, and was regularly in trouble with the authorities. Luckily, medical intervention restored his hearing, and he is now as articulate as any other ambitious business man who is keen to get on. And that's precisely what he intends to do. The plan is to further extend the client base throughout the UK, and then franchise the business in two years time. He is already considered to be an authority when it comes to weddings, and is currently in the process of producing a 50 page guide on the 'do's and don'ts' of planning a wedding.
