Previously, my vision was in such bad shape; I was afraid I was going blind. My visit was comprehensive painless and very reassuring. Today I changed the prescription in my sports sunglasses and they were ready for pick up in a week. The new lenses as always were expensive but perfect. I wish I qualified for Lasik, it would be significantly less expensive. But, I am relieved that my vision can be corrected with prisms& glasses. The office is five minutes away so I can easily run in to have my glasses adjusted or if I have an issue. However, this is the fourth pair I've gotten from Dr. Sonneberg and they've been perfect.

My first pair arrived prior to the remaining lenses and I paid $174.00, which I thought was high compared to the previous year. I asked if there was an additional office fee because only a small percentage is covered by my insurance. I was told there were no additional iSee fees. When my remaining lenses arrived, they charged my an additional $522.00! My retired optometrist had charged me $449.00 the previous year. iSee was a 55% mark-up! I left several messages for the owner, Dr. Erin Sonneberg, to call me. She never did. When I called on a day she was there she refused to speak with me about the costs. I would not recommend iSee VisionCare.

Since he is the doctor that did my surgery, you would think he would make every effort to correct the problem. The quality of care is poor.

However, the biggest issue is that they become extremely unhelpful once they realize that you are not going to buy glasses or contacts from them. It was like pulling teeth just to get them to provide me with a copy of my prescription so I could buy glasses elsewhere and once they provided me with my prescription, it lacked my PD measurement which is key for a purchase. I asked them to include that measurement and they insisted that it would be an ADDITONAL $35 for them to include on my prescription...clearly a scam for them to push you to buy glasses from them.
