My first surgery with him was in 2005 to fix a tummy tuck that previously had been performed incorrectly with a different surgeon. Dr Davis is a very friendly and professional plastic surgeon who is also conservative in his work. He strives to have his clients look as natural as possible. He'll listen to you and respect your views but isn't going to do anything crazy. I have not had surgery by Dr Davis, but have been very pleased with results from Botox injections and volumizer injections. I've been going to Peter for my botox since I was 25 (I'm 43 now). He's great!!! I even make the drive down the shitty 101 from SF to see him. Every time I have gotten botox somewhere else, because it was going to be cheaper or easier, I've always regretted it. I never seemed to have the same results and it didn't seem to last as long. It ended up not saving me any money because I had to go get it again. There are so many jokers around town that can give you botox, think its a no-brainer that you'd rather have a Stanford trained plastic surgeon sticking needles in your face. I love Dr Peter and all of his stuff. After coming here for a few years, it feels like coming to my other house. All the girls, at the reception, are really helpful, polite and extremely friendly. Dr Peter is one of those doctors who can be totally professional or he can be funny and make you feel like you got to his office for a cup of coffee and a gossip. I had Botox and some other fillers done, but I just want to show everyone how my nose looks like now, after having just a tiny bit of fillers injected in my nose. The other thing that separates Dr Peter from most of other doctors is that he will never, and I really mean NEVER try to sell you anything that you don't want to do. He also said on many occasions "No, you really don't need to do this right now" "Let's try with a little amount, and if you like it, we will do it next time" or "No, I don't suggest you do that". When it comes to Botox and fillers 99% of other doctors will always try to sell you as much as possible, they don't really care how you look or if you are going to look silly after they inject the amount that you told them to. I went to some other doctors at Palo Alto before I found Dr Peter and only after one visit I was being bombarded with emails, phone calls, and special offers. You won't get that from this office, and that's why I love this place. I had a major and very intrusive surgery from another surgeon which ended up needing a lot more attention that expected. I had been quite stressed out at the situation as I wasn't receiving much help than to "calm down". It was a very stressful time and I was having several complications while I have to wait for half a year (!) to be taken care of. Under my primary doctor's strong recommendation, I found Dr. Davis who has been providing me with a lot of help on my situation and put me on a meeting at very short notice. Dr.Davis is very patient and put a lot of time to explain and share to me why I had certain complications and a proper way to fix it (which my original surgeon's way did NOT). I soon realized my complications are improving and that really let me finally calm down and continue to live my life without sleeping in fear (Imagine a lot of blood come out and you have to worry it DAILY!). I recently came to Dr. Davis for breast augmentation after my saline implants ruptured a couple years ago after upgrading from a lift & silicone implants 5 years before. He is very detail-oriented and knowledgeable as well as witty and fun to talk to. I'm currently 3 weeks out from surgery (800cc silicone implants) and he is always available for questions via text and easy to make follow-up appointments with. He did an amazing job with my surgery, and the recovery has been much easier than in the past. It looks like my scars are going to heal better than ever, and Dr. Davis assures me that we can always fix them up to be the smallest they can be in 6 months or so when I am done healing with a small procedure. From Botched to Beautiful, Dr. Peter Davis is a genius with a scalpel. Another surgeon left me badly scarred from a botched lift and breast augmentation. Dr. Peter Davis is the finest and most professional surgeon. I came to his office with many concerns. I received a good reference to him from a close friend after having sought help through my HMO. My HMO referred me to surgeons with horrible reviews and I was very afraid about my upcoming surgery options. I suffered from severe Capsular Contracture. So severe that when I went to get a mammogram the nurse made comments about how much pain I must be in at the time. This nurse said it was the worst she had ever seen. I also had a Diastasis Hernia probably from having given birth to three children over the last 18 years. I also suffered from a Ventral Hernia (Port Hole Hernia) This could have been life threatening. I have been a heavy weight lifter, runner, swimmer and all around athlete for the last 20 years. I also worked for 12 years as a San Francisco Police Officer. Any of these things could have caused the severe abnormalities in my abdominal region. I am so overjoyed with the results of my operations I had performed in Mid January this year. I am already back to running a 9 minute mile for 10 miles or more. I am easing my abdominal muscles back again in the gym. I can lift as heavy as ever before and feel better than I can ever recall. I am racing again this Sunday in a 12K and I have signed up for my very first Triathalon with The Mermaid Series in Capitola scheduled this October. I have no doubt it will be a success.
