The front desk staff were rude, nasty, and completely unprofessional from the moment I walked in. Especially the woman I encountered as soon as I walked in -- long brownish hair with gray showing through and glasses -- she had an awful attitude and spoke to people with absolutely no respect or professionalism. Instead of making patients feel welcomed, the staff make you feel like an inconvenience. It's shocking how many people have had the same exact experience, and now I completely understand why. Customer service and basic courtesy clearly do not exist at this office. I will also be filing a formal complaint and report with New York State regarding this practice and the behavior of their staff because patients deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect.

This place is like the 10th one I called. They aren't listed on Google Maps as a dental office, and the name here is different from what I saw on their own website (Your Smile Group Team). Anyhow, I called and they were able to give me an immediate appointment. The office is clean and modern. Assistants are great. Dr. Chen is efficient and nice. Good experience and thanks for helping me move forward.

So, I decided to look around and found Dr. Park at Leading Edge. Pulling up to Selden... I was extremely hesitant. The office is in a bit of a run down medical strip mall. The parking lot is big and there are a few flowers and bushes by the office but overall it is somewhat ah old...maybe from the 1970s? Once inside Leading Edge, well things were the same. The AC was blasting away. I immediately wished i was wearing a sweater.A few people were waiting in old chairs. Everyone was staring at their phone. There was a large TV screen on one wall showing some game show. The receptionists sat in a small off shoot of the office. They were very attentive, fast, and professional! Though still hesitant, I was somewhat at ease. After a wait of a few minutes I was led by a dental assistant into the "operating area". The room they put me in was sparse but professional. Super clean. Computers and brand new modern dental equipment. Unfortunately there was a large TV in the room showing a kind of MTV kind of show. The history of rock and roll. Oh, how I hate the music from the 1950s! HATE. Anyway --- Dr. Park came into the room. He was young, smart, and professional. He looked at my x-rays and examined my teeth. He agreed that the tooth ( left upper molar that had root canal a long time ago ) needed to be pulled. He explained everything to me. The whole process of extraction and implantation. The dental assistant sent me off to billing. I received an itemized proposal which was 50% of the Manhattan guy. Fifty - percent! An appointment was made for the extraction and to make a long story short --- everything went very smoothly. Two weeks later I returned to have the extraction. They even called me the next day to check up on my condition. And now for the implant! I am almost looking forward to it...Almost.

I recently had seven successful implants and one extraction done by Dr. Capuano, and the experience…read morewas truly exceptional. This was my fourth oral surgery, but my first time at this office. My previous three surgeries were at a different office. I actually liked the oral surgeon, and during our consultation, he felt confident that he could successfully place two or three implants. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. The first surgery was extracting five teeth, the second one was attempting to place the implants and the third was removing them after they failed. If I had remained with that office, the surgeon explained that one possible treatment was a mesh implant, but estimated it had only about a 50% chance of success. Another option was dentures, which was incredibly discouraging. The difference in the final results between these two offices is night and day. Before, my mouth was left raw, red, and incredibly painful. This time, Dr. Capuano's work was clean and stitched up beautifully. He and his entire staff were amazing, compassionate, and answered all of my questions . They turned a stressful situation into a massive success. I cannot recommend Dr. Capuano highly enough! My mother had braces put on my sister and I back in high school, then a retainer. He was absolutely amazing for everything. Never made you feel scared or worried about anything. He was able to keep us young children calm. I have a fear of dentists and he did a great job. Now I am 38 and came back to him for a lower retainer. He still has the same calm gentle manner as he did before. The staff is always wonderful as well. The office is clean, Friendly, and well organized. I am very happy I came back to get my lower retainer from him. If my children ever need anything they will be coming to him as long as he is still working. My mother, is even planning on going to him for an Invisalign in the next month.

Yes, we were moved to another room and the "next appt" was done right away. They care and explain what the procedure is all about, and were terrific with my child. I'm very happy with the care.
