I am retired and on a very tight budget -- I was shocked to find I had just spend $330 instead of the $180 I had been told about and expected. There goes a week's worth of food! Do NOT go here unless you have money to waste. There are other dentists in Crossville that will do just as fine a job for half the money. I for one will not be back.

After receiving my x-rays from my new dentist, it was discovered the last crown Dr. Shanks did for me in May 2022, was put on in correctly leaving a gap that has started to now decay above the crown. My new dentist recommended that I contact Dr. Shanks to correct the error as my insurance would not cover the same crown within a 5-year period. After speaking with Dr. Shank's office personnel, I was informed that if it has been more than 2 years, they no longer guarantee their work and would require for me to pay 1100.00 to fix it. So it looks like I am out of luck in getting the crown fixed which was placed incorrectly in May 2022 and was just never noticed the new X-rays revealed it. Very disappointed with the lack of accountability and ownership of the practice's error. I do not recommend Northside Family Dentistry.

It takes forever for them to jump through their required hoopla-dog and pony show. The hygienist attempts to sell everyone a deep cleaning even me before the dentist checked my mouth.
