I brought my Honda CRV to Peters Bump Clinic to have body damage repaired from a truck swipe to the side of my car. I also got quotes from two other repair shops. The prices and hourly labor rates were all about the same. The work was primarily bodywork. They had promised me that the work would be done in a week, which proved optimistic. They also had a hard time getting back to me with the status. They did an excellent job communicating with my insurance company and car rental company, and were generally courteous and cooperative, but were weak at returning calls. Where they really excelled was in the quality of their work. This is why I gave them the 5 stars. The work was meticulous. They even went above and beyond repairing a few scratches that were not part of the original work. I would recommend them without reservation. read more

To start - sales team, specifically Ryan, are AMAZING. However when it comes to the service department and bump clinic, my experience thus far has been awful. On my first visit with the service department I interacted with a very rude man who did my inspection but nothing else that needed to be done as he "forgot" and "we close at 4 so you'll have to come back for those". When I returned for those things I worked with Stephanie who was very welcoming and helpful. Next issue.. I have some sort of discoloration UNDER my clear coat to which Ryan and the sales manager informed me to go to the bump clinic and have the bill sent to sales so it can be taken care of on them as this is not my fault. Arrived at the bump clinic on Tuesday and they took photos to send to sales to get approved and haven't heard back at all. So now it is Friday and I call for an update only to find out the photos were never sent and that it is going to be MONTHS before my door can be repainted... on a brand new 2025 that arrived like that from the factory. All I can say is I would purchase another car from Ryan and the sales team, but will definitely not be returning here for my service or any other issues as they are heavily lacking in customer service. read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! We understand that people make mistakes. Like sending a car declared a total loss to salvage when the owner hasn't given permission to release the car. A place that is quite a good distance away AND that isn't open on a Saturday. What I don't understand is when businesses do not do a single thing to correct their errors. I also don't understand how any customer is supposed to trust a business when valuables are missing from the car. We will be filing complaints (we won't be the first - check the BBB!) and a report with the police. Go elsewhere. Updated to respond to Peter's: my son is not the owner. Even if he was, he denies giving authorization; he could not possibly have done this because he went to pick up a few items BEFORE we were aware that the car had been declared a total loss on 8/22. Regardless, there is no written or oral authorization from the owners of record. Jennifer already acknowledged and apologized for this - more than once. Moreover, Peter's shows a lack of interest in even verifying basic facts, because the records clearly show that 1) Peter's did the estimate of record (note, my husband, NOT my son, is listed as the owner of record on Peter's own document) and 2) per the tow company's records, Jennifer approved the removal of the car on 8/16. With this response, Peter's has shown a continued failure to correct a mistake and resolve the issues. It's a shame and a missed opportunity. read more

In 2014, My 2011 Honda Civic had a rear end collision. The shop welded all new panels and the repair looked great. By 2017, the repair started rusting. I complained and appreciated the shop fixing the rust. Little did I realize that the Lifetime Warranty is worthless. In 2019 I saw another rust spot in the same section of the body. Peter's Honda called the Bump Clinic and told me rust is not covered. The opposite original panel is in perfect condition after 9 years! I visited the Bump Clinic and was told they do not warranty rust. I was also told the repair is never as good as the original condition. This is outrageous. So, a repair that cost thousands of dollars will last under three years! Buyer beware. read more

REDEMPTION! 4 years ago I had a, lets just say, "not so good" experience with The Bump Clinic. Flash forward to present time. There was some minor rusting occurring on the part of the car that was fixed. I reluctantly went back to see if there was anything they could do, and what happened next floored me! 1) They fully stood behind their original work and fixed my car for FREE, no questions asked! 2) The car was assess, scheduled, delivered, and picked up in 4 days time! Amazing for body work. 3) The work was stellar! And the interior of the car was detailed to boot!, way above and beyond. 4) My guy "Dave" was amazing, kept me apprised of each phase of the process and answered all my questions. I never thought I would ever go back to The Bump Clinic, but they have more than redeemed themselves in my eyes. read more

I have used Peters Bump Clinic several times over that past 5 to 8 years. They have always been terrific. The repairs have always been professional and excellent. Their ability to match paint is outstanding. My most recent experience was early February 2019. The repair and painting were perfect. I couldn't be more satisfied. One more quick comment. I read reviews for a number of sites and product. I've found that there are a fair number of people out there that will complain about a free lunch. I'm not sure whether they're just naturally nasty, or if they actually have some connection with a competitor. The complaints for Peters Bump Clinic are wholly unfounded in my experience. read more

I was very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism demonstrated by the staff at Peters Bump Clinic in Nashua. They replaced a rear bumper on my car that has never been garaged, a 2011 Outback. The paint color was a perfect match. The replacement of the bumper was seamless, in fact you couldn't even tell any work had been done. They even took the time to fully detail the car before returning it to me. Everything was arranged through Peters including the loaner and work with my insurance company. Dave and his staff did an outstanding job. Having used the Bump Clinic in the past when they did a great job fixing damage to the trunk of my "baby" (yes, I love my car...), they were my first choice for repairs to my wife's SUV after we were rear ended by an "inattentive" driver while stationary at a stop sign. We stopped in (without an appointment I might add) for an estimate and were taken care of immediately. Frank was very thorough explaining exactly what was needed and an appointment was scheduled for the following week. As I anticipated, we received the vehicle back in great shape and the bill was exactly as referenced in the quote. All in all, I am very satisfied with the quality of their work. Again. I would recommend The Bump Clinic to anyone looking looking for a shop that provides quality repairs. I've had a few cars repaired here over the years. They used to be great with reasonable prices, but the last time I had to get two cars repaired and both had lots of overspray. One of them had overspray on the dashboard guages. That one they took back and removed the overspray. The other car I found Bondo on one of the rims and overspray on many body panels and windshield. I would have brought it back and complained, but it sold the day after i discovered all these flaws. read more

I have used the Bump Clinic a few times over the past 10 years with great results. However, after my most recent experience i will not be going back, and will warn others to stay away. They originally told me it would be about 30 days to complete the repairs (significant damage - almost totaled my car) they ended up taking a full 30 longer than expected. Jennifer would not return my calls, I would have to call multiple times before I could ask and get a status of my car. When i did contact her, i kept getting told there was another part that needed to be ordered and it would be 2-3 more days. When i was able to pickup the car, the exterior (and new paint) was dirty which they blamed on construction next door. They did not walk through the repairs with me, or offer to re-wash the car - They only seemed concerned with getting my credit card. Update: Peters did call me to apologize and did seem legitimately concerned about this experience, but I have my car back and just hope to put this episode behind me. read more

When Peters returned my car to me, I noticed they did not complete the bodywork job. A dent and scratches remained on my car, and the workers had left an abrasive agent on my car. Also, my back seat was folded down and my trunk was filthy; I'm not sure what they chose to store in my car, but I don't appreciate it. When I brought the car back and pointed all of this out, the manager acted insulted and argued with me about it in the parking lot. The original man who helped me, Carl, immediately fled the scene--can you say guilty? The correct answer would have been, "I'm sorry, we'll make it right." Not hassling the customer for pointing out the truth about their work: it is poor quality, shoddy, and the product of lazy employees who only want to do the bare minimum. I do not recommend taking your car to this establishment at all. I will never return. read more

I have to also say that the guy "Carl" behind the counter is the most knowledgable body shop guy I have ever met. This guy is a superstar sales rep that is a great asset to their company. I have used them quite a few times in the last year and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. These guys are totally worthless. I took my car in to have repair done. I was traveling internationally for 3 weeks and was told it would be done in 1 and my family could pick up the car after it was repaired. Well after the parts come in "Opps we made a mistake it's going to take longer we missed something". OK no problem I still have 2 more weeks in Germany. Well to make a long story short, I get back and it's another week to get the repairs completed. Over a month after being told it would take a week. The worse part is I pick up the car on a Friday and its dark out "Everything is all set". NOT true! I walk out in the Daylight on Saturday and the whole repaired hood is crocked. So I had to bring it back over and wait even longer to have it done right. Beware Peters doesn't seem to have their act together. 4 weeks and I warned AAA (this is a "certified location") not to send anymore customers there. read more

Due to an error on one the part of their staff, the authorization for payment to the insurance company was not sent in time, and they came after me for the payment that was owed by the insurance company. I paid the invoice in full prior to picking up the car, and the invoice is stamped "paid in full." Beware, they are harassing and unprofessional, and certainly not accountable. DON'T GO HERE!! I got into a car accident (very minor) on October 22, 2011. I brought my car the following week to Peters Bump Clinic because they were recommended by my insurance. They gave me my quote fairly quickly for my right front quarter panel (over my passenger side tire) and a scrape on my rear passenger side door. It took them 5 days to work on my car and a rental was dropped off right at the Bump Clinic to me when I dropped my car off. Upon picking up my car that friday, I saw the panel had been replaced, but the scrape never even touched. I brought this up to them and they said they would buff it out for me really quick. 15 minutes later, I left to go home, thinking that there was no other issues. To my surprise, my center counsel was broken off and the screws were missing. A plastic piece in between the windshield and quarter panel that was replaced was broken, the quarter panel was missing bolts so it was not properly secure, and the front passenger side door's window had the molding falling off. Upset over all of this, I called the bump clinic back. I had to go back there 5 times to get everything fixed. Luckily, my dealership, who does my oil changes, fixed my center counsel free of charge for me, but said that the only way it would break is if some one slammed it really hard or forcefully landed on it. While back there on two occasions, I observed two other customers who were very upset with their poor quality of work to their vehicles. A staff member told one customer "you got your car back, so be happy" and asked him to leave. Another customer said they were not satisfied with the work done and the same staff member told him that it isn't any body's fault and began to make up excuses saying that the Bump Clinic isn't responsible for the poor work. However, all their work is "guaranteed for the life of the vehicle". Now that I have my vehicle back from a simple repair, it still isn't up to par. The door sticks now and I don't expect this to be the end of it, but I will never go there again and I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Got in an accident 6/30 it is now 8/15 and still no Car. I bought it in Concord because the sales people were terrible and didn't help me. Their loss I was ready to buy that day. Only reason I had it towed here was because it's a lease and I live in Nashua. They kept telling me oh one more week oh another week and I had to Harass them on updates. Seems to me they are milking the insurance company for money. I DO NOT reccomend this place what so ever!! read more

If you want to be uninformed about the status/nature of your repair as it is in progress, lied to about why they can't have your car ready when promised, and given the runaround when you try to find out what's actually going on, then Peter's Bump Clinic is the place for you! Carl, one of the reps up front, is perhaps the biggest BS artist I've ever dealt with in a service setting. Call him up multiple times and ask exactly the same question, you will be amazed at how many different answers/explanations you can get out of him. - Carl promised to call by 10AM the day after the car was dropped off with what work would be performed. Phone never rang, Carl nowhere to be found when I call the shop. - Next day I find out they must be doing work because the insurance company deposits reimbursement $ in my account, gee I wonder what work they're doing, Carl never decided to share. - Carl promised to have the car done by a certain date, I call up on that date, car won't quite be ready by end of day. - 4 days later, I call back and ask about the car, Carl tells me he has no idea where things stand (probably the only time he told the truth in my dealings with him). Carl says he will call me right back. - Several hours later, after not getting called back, I call Carl, he tells me the guy he needed to talk to wasn't at the shop yet, but the painter was told not to paint the car and he doesn't know why. - Sensing the game being played, I call back an hour later and ask if he found out why it wasn't painted, turns out now he says it was primed and the primer needed to sit overnight. Not sure how that explains the 4 days of nothing getting done between it "almost being ready" and the day I called, they must use a very unique primer. - I pick up the car, Carl tells me what happened was it was painted the wrong color, so it needed to be repainted. I'm pretty sure that doesn't take 4 days either. Amazing that for a simple repair job my car managed to have gone through every possible state except "being done" for so many days. I'm sure Carl gets his jollies off playing his deception games with different faces every day, but this is hardly the charter of someone in a SERVICE based industry. Service is frequently the thing that gets people to come back or causes them to never come back again. Carl is a pro at the latter. Sorry Peters, repair jobs are a commodity item in Nashua, and your Bump Clinic is not worth the hassle, particularly with jokers like Carl at the front of your shop. read more

I have used the Bump Clinic three or four times over the past 2 years and have always been very pleased with their efficiency, professionalism, and good work. On top of that, one day I needed help with installing a new headlamp and they were able to see me right away and fixed it within 10 minutes (no charge-- which is pretty amazing since Gurney's quoted me $50+ and wouldn't see me for a few days). I wish i could give these guys no stars at all. They told me 11 days to fix my car, then it changed to 15 days, then they promised me it done on a thursday, then instead of calling me, they called my dad for some odd reason and told him my car wouldnt be ready til tuesday. So currently its in the shop, i called them today and they told me they havent even started to paint yet. If i had not of called today for a status, i would have showed up there tomorrow with a surprise of it not being done. I will never leave my car with these people again. Brought my car here because I was impressed by the two previous times that they worked on my wife's car. As a former auto body man I can tell when a job is merely done or done well. Her car came back like it had never been damaged on both occasions. Due to unforseen circumstanses beyond thier control it took a little more time than it should have; however, when I went to pick-up my car it was very clear that the staff (Jennifer) and the manager (Dave) were quite concerned at my disatisfaction and went above and beyond to redeem themselves. I would give less stars if I could. I chose this shop to repair my car after an accident at the recommendation of my insurance and it was nothing but a hassle working with them. The body work was well done (although they did make a few careless mistakes -- forgetting to put my antenna back on, forgetting to put an interior cover back on, leaving a random part in my back seat...) but mechanically my car is worse now than when it went in. At least two mechanical things were either broken during the accident or the repair process (probably more like 5-6 things) and they simply refuse to repair them. We brought the car back countless times and their story was either that it's a common problem with the vehicle and had nothing to do with the accident or the repair (yet somehow none of these were issues prior to the accident) or that they "couldn't replicate the problem" (they used that line so much with us that it's now a running joke in my family). I am now in the process of looking into what my options are through legal channels. To be fair, my insurance company is equally to blame and I have similarly reviewed them as well. read more
