I can't say enough great things about Dr. Peters and his office. I appreciate Dr. Peters and his team's friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness, and exceptional care. I came in for adjustments and treatment of my chronic plantar fasciitis. I had a PRP injection to help my plantar fasciitis from my orthopedic surgeon and the pain became worse and was advised the next step was surgery to alleviate my pain. It felt like an extreme leap to have surgery, and I wanted to explore alternatives. Luckily, Dr. Peters recommended Shockwave Therapy, a treatment in office that helps with chronic pain. I've started Shockwave Therapy and within a couple of sessions feel significantly less pain in my foot, and no longer in constant pain. This place is the GOAT. I've been in multiple severe car accidents, and decided to try out a new chiropractor since I wasn't very satisfied with my previous. The best thing is, Dr. Peters explains to you why pain is happening, what's causing it, shows you how to stretch properly for it, and gives you tips and hacks on how to reduce it/heal fast. ON TOP of my back pain, I experience sever pain in my hands and forearms from my sewing job. I was shown how to properly strengthen my arms to minimize tight/soreness and what stretches are most effective. My insurance funds ended a year ago, and I still return occasionally, as needed, and receive great treatment. I officially have full mobility back and I'm so thankful. UPDATE November 2023 I initially gave a five star review as I was a patient of this business when I was Tboned and suffered 7 herniated discs in my neck. This office took my case on as a personal injury and treated me from Jan to late May 2023 and then from July to Sept as cash paying patient. My personal injury case is being finalized right now and because now I have to have neck surgery as none of the treatments helped me garner substantial relief ( I have done pain injection shots, PRP injections, and PT additionally with other practitioners), I pleaded with Dr. Peters and William Sandifer the acupuncturist to offer additional reduction as their original reduction offer was still inflated via email. They didn't even have the decency to respond to my email. When I spoke with Dr. Peter's on phone he assured me he would work with my attorney and offer reduction but the reduction he initially agreed to was not that significant. I am the one who suffered exponentially due to this accident that was not my fault. I was hesitant about posting my updated review since my personal injury case has been settled . But I felt compelled to update my review. I understand that personal injury cases can take a long time for a practitioner to get compensated, but my case was simple and straightforward whereas my case settled in 9 months, hence why the pricepont for personal injury is different than cash pay. I do NOT endorse this business if you are thinking about receiving care as a personal injury patient where Peter's Chiropractic will put a medical lien on your case. Dr. Peter is the real deal! I went to him a few short months ago barely able to walk and experiencing extreme and constant lower back pain. He was so thorough with my intake exam, ordered x-rays, ultra-sounds and nerve tests which none of the other Chiropractors I've been to have ever done. After my first few visits, I felt so much trust for him that I brought him my 14 year old daughter and we both could not be happier. His adjustments are just right, it almost seems as though he is reading your pain with his hands or like he feels with his hands what you are feeling and he knows just when and where to apply pressure or loosen up. Dr Peters is great at what he does. I went to several chiropractors and physical therapy and nothing seemed to help the pain. I'm a lash technician so I sit hunched over for 5 hours straight every day. I came in to my initial appointment in pain and crying about my hip and low back hurting and how I couldn't sleep because of it. He worked with me for a few weeks and now I come for just a couple of monthly adjustments after my massage with jeanina. Between that and having the acupuncturist Lynda work on me I'm back to knew. Dr. Peters recommended a new seat a fascia roller a very unique ice pack for my back. Recommend some easy stretches and suggested some tools I can buy online to continue treatment at home in between seeing him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND I have a shoulder injury that resulted from multiple falls from horseback riding when I was young. Though it doesnt significantly affect my day to day, given one exacerbation about 3 years back where I had to seek Physical Therapy and Toradol shots since I could not even put on a seatbelt, my shoulders have been doing ok. However, since I started weightlifting, I find my upper body and over head strength is severely limited due to a sharp pain that occurs in my shoulders when I lift. I have long accepted it as "it is what it is" and just limited exercises. Until I started seeing Dr Peters. Dr Peters spends ample time listening to your issues and addresses it each visit. He would ask if there are new problems and how your body is doing - during initial consult he spent over an hour listening to my history and he explained anatomically where my problems might be and provided literature. Staff are very friendly, facility is clean and they are very accommodating. My shoulders have felt so much better since, empirically I can honestly say, the Sharp pains that occur with over head weights have disappeared. I still have a long way to go as my shoulder mobility isn't at its best, but repeat visits have been immensely helpful. SIDE NOTE; Its quite a shame to see negative reviews based on the fact that the business doesnt wear masks or require masks. Its like giving a one star review because of poor parking.
