Love this acupuncture office. It's a husband and wife practice/team. Very professional. Clean room. Superb customer service. They are very prompt at responding to text messages and telephone calls. Appointments gets booked fairly quickly but if you're really flexible and determined, you can request to be on the waitlist and get in to see them. Dr. Mei is like the mother-she has a very calm, soothing and nurturing style. Dr. Peter is like the father-quick, to the point but gets the job done. I appreciate both of their techniques. When I have time to relax, I'll opt for Dr. Mei but when I'm short on time, I'll opt for Dr. Peter. They really helped transform my aching Barry moving body to much better state. After months of pain and loss of sleep from possible Rheumatoid Arthritis, Dr. Peter and Dr. Mei have both attentively listened to my concerns and explained what they were going to do. This practice is the best. I have been suffering with pain in my wrist for the past month or so where I was only getting about two hours of sleep at night because of my wrist and fingers going numb; also not able to exercise or do anything as far as putting pressure on my hands. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel. I went and only had one treatment and was able to move my wrist and actually got a full nights rest for the first time in a month. In the past, I've received steroid shots for my lower back pain and been medicated for my lower back pain. I was recommended to WellCare, by a friend, to help with pain and tingling in my foot. She had amazing results with alleviating pain in her knee. I'd never tried acupuncture and wasn't sure what to expect but I left my first appointment with a sigh of relief and less pain than when I went in. With each appointment I felt less and less pain and tingling. After 7 sessions I was pain free. I will be returning soon to get relief from pain in my wrists due to being on the computer all day. They treated my right knee for moderate arthritis and in 6 months I was completely healed - pain free with full mobility of my knee. Dr. Peter and Dr. Mei are great. They have some differences in approach which makes for a rich healing experience. I didn't listen to my bestie soon enough and stared treatment too late. I only got 4 sessions in before moving out of the area. I definitely experienced some pain alleviation and improvement in strength and stability. As a UPS driver for over 30 years I've had my fair share of back injuries and strains in the past. Last month I had a allergic reaction where the right side of my face swelled up under my eye. They treated me with the microcurrent device called Avazzia. I was a bit skeptical at first at how well acupuncture might work for me.. but after my first visit, I was convinced of the healing treatments of eastern medicine. I came in with severe sciatica pain, with shooting pain running down the back of my left leg. I had never had this pain before but due to COVID stay at home orders, working from home and sitting too much was getting the best of me. I had sciatic nerve pain and I felt like my life was over. I went to see Dr. Mei and she used distal points on my hand and the pain went away. I recommended Dr. Mei to my friend also and she went. Dr. Mei is great. She doesn't just stick needles in you, she gets to know you by talking to you to find out your needs. Next, she starts by touching certain points on your body. I have been seeing Dr. Mei and Dr. Peter for at least two years now, when they moved from Carson, I followed them because I've gotten the best care from them. I have changed my health from working with them and regularly recommend them to friends, family and even strangers. I have gone for severe back pain, colds/flues, and most recently problems with my menstrual cycle and fertility. I've seen great improvements in all of these areas. If your scared of needles, don't be, they also do acupressure! Sometimes my treatments include herbs and I used to be really skeptical about them, but I've seen the biggest improvements to my menstrual cycles with use of herbs. The only limits of their current offices is that they don't have vents to offer moxibustion, if you like those types of treatments. read more

In October of 2018 I began receiving Acupuncture Treatments from Dr. Peter and Dr. Mei Tsai at WellCare Acupuncture. I have had excrutiating knee (arthritis/Bone on Bone according to Xrays) pain for over 12 years. I also had very severe pain from my knees to my shins for almost the same amount of time. This was so bad I could barely touch the area and forget about walking, I was unable and had become sedentary except for twice a week doing weight training. I really hesitated to do this because I absolutely hate needles! However, it was the best decision I've made. It is only five months later and now I am walking on a treadmill three days a week, my leg pain is vastly improved and they are now working on my knee areas. I cannot describe the relief I feel after each visit. It is awesome. I thank God for this precious couple. They both have a little different technique, but both Drs. are excellent. My family is happier as they have "mom" more like herself too! I want to also say, these "needles" do NOT hurt. They are as thin as a piece of your hair and super flexible.
