You can expect Salvador to be MIA for the entire project. Salvador does not actually do any of the physical work. This would probably not be such a problem if he were a good communicator. Unfortunately he is horrible at getting back to text messages, does not answer your questions and we had to tell him what we wanted multiple times which was either forgotten or ignored. He just doesn't care if an issue arises. The only time we saw him was when he would come by to pick up payments. The work he completed was shoddy. Pipes were left exposed and dangerously protruding from the ground, wiring was mickey mouse and he clearly uses the cheapest materials available. We have already spent over a thousand dollars fixing his mistakes. I anticipate having to spend much more. Save yourself the frustration and headache and go with someone more professional, organized and knows what they are doing. You will save money in the long run.

I appreciate that they took the extra step to frame out an air conditioner and window and fix a weathered door jam which was not included on the original plans. We hit a few minor snags in the road due to the previous homeowners poor attempts at DIY'ing improvements, but John did his best to help us cut costs where we could. My contact person is David Izakellian, 310-980-0662, who has been amazingly helpful in explaining every aspect of each of the projects for which I engaged their services. David assisted me in creating the contract for each of the projects, and kept in touch before the work commenced, and periodically, during the time the construction was underway. Additionally, he returned after the construction team was finished, to assure that everything had been done according to the agreement and that the workers had left my home better that it had been before the work commenced, even helping with cleanup that the workers missed. The first project which A1 Home Remodeling Inc.did for me was the installation of a new roof. The old roof was more than 20 years old. There were no known leaks, but the asphalt tiles on the surface were showing signs of damage. David explained every step of process and the discussed the advantages of the recommended materials. The contract was written clearly, included each step of the process in detail and included a comprehensive description of the materials. The material David recommended was rated for helping to maintain temperatures within the house, and was eligible for a discount from DWP. David checked in with me while the job was in process and took pictures of the progress, using a drone camera to allow me to see the rooftop. At the conclusion of the job, David spent an afternoon helping me clean up the rooftop debris which fell into my cluttered garage, despite the draping the workmen put in place to prevent the debris falling into the contents of the garage. The project took less than a full 5 day workweek from start to finish. Any major project is time consuming and disruptive, but this project was an excellent experience. The second project that A1 Home Remodeling Inc. did for me was to repair, replace, and repaint exterior wood and doors. Woodwork was sanded, rotted boards were replaced, and all the surfaces were painted using a "paint" which has a lifetime warranty against peeling. Again, all the details were put in writing and David made sure that I understood exactly what the team would do. My job was scheduled for a few weeks out. About a week before the start date, the head of the team came to inspect and determine quantity of supplies needed. Once started, the job took just a few days to completion. As before, the construction team came on time, worked throughout the working day, worked on the job continuously to completion and cleaned up remaining debris when they were finished. And, as before, David followed up, coming to inspect after the team was finished, He even sent his gardener over to my house to clean up some small stray paint and paper pieces from the lawns and shrubbery. They were VERY patient with us and all our questions and requests to modify the design. TruAdditions also took care of the whole process of getting city approval and also communicated with our HOA. TruAdditions kept us updated during the wait time with the city and kept us informed on the timeline for our project. Our project started right on time and was estimated to take 3-4 months. Rene was our contractor and very thorough in blocking off areas in our home to prevent dust and dirt from construction. Rene was on site every day working and monitoring his crew. We have never had a contractor so thorough and invested in making sure we were happy with all their work. The whole crew was extremely polite, neat and clean. The crew worked efficiently and effectively to get the job done in 7 short weeks! This included complete build out over our balcony, adding a patio slider door and re-doing our entire staircase.
