We had a great experience working with SRT Building on the renovation of our new home, which included a full kitchen remodel and 2.5 bathrooms. From start to finish, Mario, the owner, Carlos, our project lead, and the entire crew were professional, organized, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. Communication was extremely important to us. We received photo updates nearly every day, so we always knew exactly how the project was progressing. Whenever there were decisions that came down to personal preference, such as the height of a shower head, the angle and layout of the tile, the length of the shower doors, and other details, the team made sure to ask us. They clearly explained the pros and cons of the different options and gave us the information we needed to make a decision without ever making the process feel overwhelming. Just as important was being able to trust SRT's expertise and project organization. We had a lot going on with work during the renovation, so we needed a team that we could rely on without feeling like we had to frequently check on the project or be on site. Mario, Carlos, and the entire team made the process incredibly stress free. We were easily able to trust them to get everything done properly, on schedule, and to a very high standard of quality. We never felt like we needed to come to the house to check on the work. We only came when the team specifically needed us there or when we were simply excited to see the progress! The project stayed on track throughout the entire renovation, and they actually finished almost a week ahead of the projected completion date. The house was also kept neat and tidy at the end of each workday, which we really appreciated. Their attention to detail was also exceptional, especially with the tile work throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. The precision and craftsmanship makes it clear that the team takes a lot of pride in delivering high quality work. We recently completed a nearly whole-house renovation, interior and exterior, with SRT Building and Renovation, and we are very happy with our experience and their quality of work. To start with, one of the things we appreciated most -- and a major reason we decided to hire SRT -- was Mario's (the owner) level of communication. From our initial meeting, it was clear that he was earnest about the quality of work his company delivers and confident that they could complete the project within a reasonable timeframe. Mario never came across as a salesman; instead, he was straightforward, knowledgeable, and sincere. Throughout the entire renovation, his communication was clear, consistent, and honest. He was always available and easy to reach, willing to answer any questions and talk through the details to make sure we were always on the same page. He even arranged for us to visit a home he had recently renovated so we could see the quality of his work firsthand, before making our decision to go with him. SRT is the third contractor we've worked with over the past eight years on our home, and we can say they are the best by far. Although it wasn't ideal to increase our already tight budget, having SRT handle the additional work was a no-brainer, because we knew it would be done correctly and that it would protect the investment we were making in the renovation. In the end, we ended up with a beautiful home that we are truly proud of and love coming home to, thanks to the SRT team. We chose SRT for our full bathroom remodel after recommendation from friends & they did not disappoint! Mario & his team helped us achieve a beautiful bathroom. Even after running into a few issues, (2" of concrete underneath our existing tile, subflooring, plumbing & electrical needing repairs) they were able to complete the project in a timely manner. SRT Building and Renovation is a high quality company and I would highly recommend. They repaired our roof and found where leaks had occurred, they installed doors and windows and most importantly built a roof deck for us. We interviewed several contractors and I felt that Mario best understood what the architect and structural engineer required. It was very important since we were going to put a jacuzzi on the roof deck. The team is trustworthy, will work with you on what ever you need and always with a smile. SRT Construction just completed our second bathroom renovation and I could not be happier. They completed our first bathroom reno in 2022 and the second has just been completed Oct 2024. Both jobs were SEAMLESS. Mario's team showed up every morning at 8:00 until the job was completed, just as they did on the first job. The craftsmanship on the tile work and construction is phenomenal. Mario was there to answer all my texts and phone calls and made job sight visits frequently to inspect progress and go over any questions. Mario helped me fix the required repairs by the city after I purchased my new home. He walked me throughly the needed repairs and updates. Mario and his crew were super professional and did a great job. They upgraded my 100 service panel to a 200AMP service panel, added additional gas and plumbing lines, obtained and cleared city permits, other minor repairs and cleaned out all of my debris and trash.
