My experience seems to be much different than the other reviewers. I agree Dr. Petersen is a nice guy, and his family seems lovely as well. I also found him to be extremely professional and thorough. I never got the feeling my treatment was an insurance game. On the contrary, I truly felt he genuinely cared about making my back better. I have been to several chiropractors in CA after a car accident. I cannot tell you how frustrating those experiences were. So much so, that I swore off chiropractors...that is until I launched myself off a water trampoline with my son and knew I had done something bad to my back before I even hit the water. My husband drove me straight into Dr. Petersen's as it was the closest chiropractic office to where we were. He had other clients but asked them if I could jump in, as he saw how much I was hurting. After a few sessions I was nearly back to new, and felt better than I thought possible. I never got a hard sell vibe as my last chiropractic experiences, and now have regained my faith in chiropractors because of my experience at this office. A few months ago my neighbor, who is very anti Doctor, and quite possibly one of the most cynical people you will meet, told me she was having back trouble. She is an ex jockey, and had resigned herself to a life of sleepless nights and reoccurring pain. After several conversations I finally convinced her to at least go ONCE. To Dr. Petersen. She did. We just saw her a few days ago and she was not just complimentary, she was raving about the help she received. She said after the second visit she started sleeping through the night for the first time in 20 years! She went fairly regularly for a month and now she says she just goes every once in a while, but doesn't feel any pressure to do more. I don't think I have ever seen her be so positive about anything. I think Doc Petersen is great at what he does he is fast and he really cares how you feel. He is easy to talk to and there are no appointments needed for adjustments if you want a rub down and a hot pad get a massage right there in his office. read more

Highly Discourage everyone from visiting this practice. Very rude office staff and quite incompetent with billing. Dr. Peterson ( claims to be a physician) not really a doctor! Send out bills 8 months late and lied about when insurance paid him. Office staff is Horrific!! read more

STAY AWAY. This guy is the kind of guy that will make you come 3 times a week till insurance no longer covers. He is ridiculously expensive and offers very little in return. He is courteous and he has a nice facility but he is another chiro crook. You have been warned. read more

I have been seeing Brian Petersen for the last two years consistently. Initially I had some chronic lower back pain that he was able to resolve in a few months which finally gave me my life back. Then I stopped my care for a good 6-8 months or so thinking I did not need maintenance Big mistake! I slipped back into old habits and postures that resulted in developing a painful psoas issue that seriously inhibited my ability to walk. Thankfully with much care, Dr. Petersen has reversed that problem and I am happy to say I am now walking, sleeping and living pain free. Some reviews I have read criticize Dr. Petersen's time spent with his patients. I imagine that some might be put off by the fact that his adjustments are quick, like 5-10 minute tops, and may feel they are not getting their monies worth. That said, in my opinion, it is not about the amount of time he works on you in a session, but rather what he does to manipulate the spine or bones to relieve pressure points, pinched nerves and so on to bring relief and ultimately... correction. Anyone who expects instant results from care, is just being ridiculous. For me, it took months...perhaps years of neglect to get my back out of shape to begin with. My healing did not happen overnight, and many of my chiropractic adjustments often hurt. I was frustrated with my health, frustrated with Dr. Petersen, and many times I questioned whether his care was the right approach for my situation. At the end of the day though I resolved that it is pretty the nature of the healing process, and yes, Brian knew exactly what he was doing. Another major factor for me was the cost of his care. Unfortunately, my insurance only covered 10 visits and with a co-payment. My care quickly used up my "allotted insurance" visits, which put me in a position of paying out of pocket for anything more. Thankfully his office offers a family plan which accommodated my needs at an affordable cost and unlimited care. This was perfect and did not break the bank. So, I guess anyone in a similar situation should probably ask themselves, what is their health and quality of life worth? It took me a while to figure it out, but I am so glad that I made the call and would not go back on that decision for a minute. Time...life...it's just too damn short to be in chronic pain. On a super positive note, he takes walks ins (which is all I ever do). This has allowed me to see him when it works for me, rather than making an apt. only to miss it or be late and get charged anyways like some doctors do. I am grateful for this flexibility and convenience. Lastly, all I can say is that Dr. Petersen really does care about your health and will work with you to help you get your desired results. Bottom line, I recommend this chiropractor. If you see him, you won't be sorry. read more

Dr. Brain Peterson always helps me when I'm in so much pain . I've been seeing him for 12 years. I live about 25 minutes from the clinic . I've tried other doctors and the experience was not the same so I choose to make the commute. He is by far the best doctor ever . And his sweet wife sometimes works the reception desk .
