I was a chiropractor skeptic. Yes, everyone raves about their chiropractor, but it always seemed to…read morebe in the context of "Oh, man, I need to get back to the chiro, I just feel terrible if I'm not there every 2 weeks". My perception was that chiropractors were a sort of temporary fix rather than a solution. Dr. Word has changed that! After several months of working from home, I was so stiff I couldn't stretch one muscle group without pulling another. I finally decided to try this whole chiropractor thing and all I can say is, "wow, I was wrong". Dr. Word obviously sees his role as understanding the root of aches and pains and giving people the tools to really feel better; he is clearly sincerely invested in the well being of his clients. I felt like a new person after that first visit, but even more importantly, I've been able to take action at home under Dr. Word's guidance to actually solve issues, not just temporarily relieve them. I'll definitely continue to see Dr. Word for regular maintenance now that I see the value, but I feel empowered to set that schedule based on how I'm feeling and find that I'm able to go more time (rather than less) between visits as I make progress.
