The next person I talked with was the owner, I even believe he picked it up , I also gave him a a Stihl power saw blade to be sharpened I even put it in a zip lock bag with my name on it. He quoted me a estimate. I had told him I had Sears up to my house previously a couple months earlier and they had fixed and serviced the oil change and the spark plugs etc. I even put part parts like blades and minor parts on it myself.l noticed I was having trouble still. So I told the owner everything I did as well what Sears did! What was supposed to take only a few days to diagnose and fix turned into over 3 weeks! I called many times the excuse was he was checking everything out. I even said "what about the carberator" his reply was "he didn't think so but he would look into it." When 3 weeks came and gone I called and told him my opinion he had ample time, his reply was "he has been busy" mind you he originally he said a few days! I called again after his advice to call back in a few days.He then informed me it couldn't be fixed, and that it wasn't the carberator, and would give me a good price on a new lawn tractor. I said I would think about it, he delivered it back and he had the ordasity to charge me over $300 , and could not find my power saw chain! After a afternoon of looking in his store he found it I had to pick it up, who knows if he even sharpened it or he replaced it with a new one, and I was charged for that also! The next day I called Sears to make a house call, they came up I explained the whole story and my opinion about the carberator, the service tech agreed about a new carberator on the tractor and it has been working FANTASTIC ever since, over a year now! By right this establishment should had given me a full reimbursement! I would not recommend this place to my worst acquaintance! They ripped me off, don't know what they are doing, and false promises. As well as they lose parts! And the owner is a very moody, and I will leave it up to you what kind of man he is!!! He should not have a license to do business!!! I will pray for him! OBTW I wouldn't have given even one star!

They had the unit for two and 1/2 weeks and my boss called , they didn't even look at it yet. He originally told me a few days but lied to me , finally they looked at the next day and owner told mechanic to clean out carburetor and put back together. We picked up the unit was still leaking gas. I took it back and fixed it myself. A 5 dollar needle and seat in the carb fixed the problem. The mechanic at wolcott power was very nice , he was only doing what he was told. The owner said fix the snowblowers and don't worry about generator. If I new this was going to sit for weeks and weeks I would of gone somewhere else . My rating should be no stars but the mechanic was very nice and not his fault.

Since then I have had many great experiences with them: from changing a tire, to getting the recall handled. The staff has always been professional but on a more personal level. They are easy to build a repour with which makes it easier to order parts or make appointments. My most recent was changing the bearings on my rear wheel, I brought it to them and they had it back to me the next day. When every repair shop complains of being overloaded, they seem to be able to take care of a quick job such as mine. What was more impressive was the cost, it was more than reasonable given the afore mentioned "Swamped." work schedule. I will always steer fellow riders to Land and Sea for service and parts. They also have an impressive amount of equipment on the floor for quick delivery. Thanks Land and Sea.

Because they do a good job for a fair price. And they are honest. And they are good guys. Bike always runs great after a service, and stays that way for the rest of the season. I know I am getting the work done I need, and am not being charged for unnecessary work. My local dealer disappointed me and overcharged me. I have no desire to go back. Thanks guys! It's worth the trip.

They sold me a tire that went flat in 20 minutes after leaving. Then they laughed when I asked them to replace it. Another "boss" said to come back today, and of course they don't have it. He got it back and died a few months later. I sent Paul and Mad Max my VMax, paid him $18,500, waited 7 years. I paid for a supercharger. Never got a supercharger. Instead got a fat tire set up which I didn't order. Paul Civitello and Mad Max are incompetent, never on time and a total rip off. I lost my bike, 7 years of riding and $18,500. Beware!!!!!

I looked at some of the other reviews written and I couldn't agree more. This is a terrific shop; great sales dept. (Dan) and the owner (Dave) are both super friendly and laid back. His daughter works there and is also very friendly. They have two beautiful and VERY friendly Golden Retrievers greeting customers as well. I mention all of this because it puts one at ease when you're there browsing / shopping. Full disclosure: I've been browsing there for a couple of years; I've stopped in quite a few times. I never felt pressured or annoyed by Dan or anyone there; they are super laid back. So I finally decided on buying a Ducati and the whole process was handled so well, from beginning to end. I've also had the service dept. install some mods for me and change out the rear sets, etc. Again - even the guy I dealt with in the service dept. was friendly and helpful. I read in one or two of the reviews that people were traveling pretty good distances to shop here and get service done on their bikes. I guess I'm extremely lucky to be about 7 miles (15 mins) from New Haven Power Sports.

Two months later, I got on the bike and the kickstand fell off, causing very minor damage. The bolt was not secured properly, and the kickstand itself was perfectly fine and intact--the problem was their installation. I called the service manager, Will, and he told me I could get the bike towed and that he would find prices for me to replace everything. I explained that the issue was not a failed part, but that it had not been put on correctly. I wasn't satisfied that the discussion would lead to a resolution , so I called the owner and explained what happened. The owner asked for pictures, sent me a text message telling me where to send them, and said they would follow up. Instead, I got a phone call from Will threatening me and saying I had gone behind his back. He told me it was a used part, not to come to his department anymore, that they were not servicing my bike, and that if I came there they would have me arrested. When I asked to speak to the owner, he said the owner did not want to talk to me and that he was talking to me instead. I only wanted the stand fixed so I could ride my bike, but instead I was met with hostility, threats, and refusal to take responsibility. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
