After two hours of trying everything it was apparent that only a Porsche dealer could "code" the radio. Jerry is an amazing man who loves a challenge, and hated conceding. Even though he spent all that time he didn't ask for any compensation whatsoever. I told him that even though I live in Southbury, I'll be bringing my cars to him from now on. I heard phenomenal things about this shop and I live about 22 mins away but I chose to come here. He talked to my father one on one for a period of time about the quality of the car and the experience he has with it. He also took the time for my dad to understand this new kind of transmission in these car. The CVT. A new transmission was ordered before I brought the SUV in. He did the job within a 3 day period. I paid after I was satisfied not before like some jobs. Now nissan sold me a bad remanufactered transmission and Rob took the time and care to bring it to nissan and discuss the issues and make sure they took ownership for selling a transmission with bad parts. He wants to make sure that I am satisfied knowing I am unemployed and that this was an astronomical unforseen unfortunately expense. I would 200% suggest coming here. My father is a tough cookie to sell. And he has been doing auto Mechanic work for years. He said Rob is a stand up man, does good business, and honors his word good old fashioned mechanic. Ken is the man!…read more While at another well-known tire store, I was informed after a tire rotation, that my rear breaks were at 3mm and needed work. I was quoted $399. Something didn't feel right, so I contacted Ken at Safe Auto Service and made an appointment. I brought the car to Safe Auto. They did a test drive and pulled the wheels apart for inspection. Ken informed me my brake pads were good and did NOT need service. He could have just as easily confirmed I needed work and charged me. An HONEST man! I now have a new repair shop going forward.

They seemed well organized and keep the front of the shop better than most places. I would be comfortable to bring work to them again in the future

I paid $300 dollars for a starter 2 weeks prior, and could not afford another $300 dollars on a tune up. Over a month later, they've come after me for the "bill they put in my car". They NEVER informed me there was a diagnosis fee OR how much that fee would be PRIOR to the diagnosis- $147! I've always recommended H&H, and have driven from New Haven just to go there.
