Was going to Smoky Mountains National Park last year and called Docs. They did a full service on the 2005 road king including replacement of front tire. Had a wonderful trip down and back with no bike problems. Service was courteous and efficient. Only glitch was it was promised by four but took about forty five minutes longer-- understandable with an older bike and the extent of the service. This is the BEST motorcycle supply and repair shop in CT. They have been in business for a many years and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I have been through multiple bikes over the years and have had all of my service done there including 3 brand new Harleys even when they were still on warrantee. I used to use the same dealerships where I bought them from for service, but I have found that Harley dealerships charge profane amounts for service and many of their staff can be arrogant and condescending and act like their customers are ignorant. Since then, I have Doc's do all my service...right from the first 1,000 mile service and on.....first a 1200 cc Sportster.....then a Road King and now my Road Glide. They meet all the requirements to keep my factory warrantee valid at a reasonable price and with better service than I have found anywhere. read more

I brought my 1966 Honda Dream to Doc's for restoration. It had been in storage since 1998 - almost 20 years and would not run. Staff at Doc's expertly found a number of problems and repaired them. My Honda is now a Dream again. Great prices - expert repairs = perfect customer experience. read more

At the buisness, both store and service department claim business hours are 9-5. The website advises 10-5. At 10:30 AM on 10/7, although a neon sign read 'OPEN', all the doors were locked. From my perspective, that's incompetence. I took my business elsewhere. read more

Expensive service and merchandise which is a known thing to anyone living in the area. It'll cost you the same or less if you go to the dealer! They wanted over $800 just to install my apes. Anyone who is willing to pay $800 to get apes installed give me a call, I got a bridge for sale. Sucks because its close by but I have to drive all over the state to get service on my bike. Its been open forever so I guess there are lots of suckers out there. Great bunch of guys working the front though. read more

Just bought my first bike in 30 years, went to docs for a tire and, they suggested some other parts, good service friendly people. Tried to get a tire put on the back of my 99 fx soft tail today the service dept. was honest enough to tell me he could not do it( he could have said that he could have had me come down and hurried through everything to get me in but...he did not) I will be back read more
