Things have changed for this watering hole recently, however, and it is worth writing about. The Tap Room has now incorporated food into their offerings to patrons beyond nuts, chips, and Tap Room Cheese & Crackers that are a staple at this joint. The grill is officially open and it is a must-try if you are in the area. The cook, Chad, is killing it. The burgers are phenomenal. Homemade patties with delicious seasonings done right. The options on the menu are packed with flavor and they have many to choose from. Be sure to try the TRB if you can handle the kick. My other half says it is one of the best burgers he has ever eaten, and he knows his burgers. The wings... they are served whole, as in not broken down into smaller pieces. By doing this, Chad preserves a lot of the natural juices and the end product is so tender you have to try them to understand. Order the "house" wings the first time you are there. They will blow you your mind. **UPDATE** The grill is no longer open at the Tap Room on a regular basis, but they still do food for special occasions (Bills games, Superbowl, etc.). There's a ton of comfortable seating whether you sit inside in front of the taps, in front of the window, at the comfy chairs, over in the book nook or outside, there's a great place to kick back and relax. I haven't even got to the beer yet. For a relatively new place (opened in September) they have their shit together. We tried the black IPA and the Citrice IPA. The Witches at black Masses was smoky and full of flavor. The Citrice was crisp and everything you'd like in an IPA. Amarillo hops are one of my favorite, and this beer didn't disappoint. For breweries I'd have to say the eclectic nature of this place, the beautiful countryside and the charisma of the owners make it a standout establishment. Besides the fact that they have a great selection of all kinds of beer. I even tried the Heffy and I liked that as well. Take a drive and make this a tasty rest stop. I had a bacon and egg sandwich and coffee and I was able to spread out my papers on a clean Surface to prepare for a meeting that was coming up. The environment was noisy, but with friendly voices from a largely local crowd, which wasn't distracting at all. I was able to refill my coffee cup at no extra charge. Parking was easy, right outside the very wide street accommodates cars parked perpendicular to the establishment right in the middle of the street. Nice place. I'll be back.
