The food was amazing! The drinks and ambiance were also amazing. This was an unexpected gem in Cassadaga. So cute and rustic. The outdoor area was perfect and shaded. I loved it.

I'm a Halloween person! Like year round lifestyle choice haha! This is some of the coolest Halloween decorations I've seen in a place! Amazing nice crispy wings with many great flavs and nice thick ranch! The only down sides to this place are the long wait time on food, bad cell reception (I can't even check in), and it's pretty pricy for what and where it is.

5 Stars for the wonderful Halloween decor. Sadly no one under 21 is allowed to see it (or eat there.) No parties over 6 people allowed and no credit cards allowed. The food was also 5 Stars. Pot roast dinner and order of spicy chile wings. Delicious. However, very slow service and we could only be seated in the bar, although the dining room (with comfortable chairs) was only a few feet away. $17 for 10 chicken wings + $1 for extra bleu cheese? Is that the new normal? So, the negatives balanced out the positives and that is the reason for the 3 Stars. It used to be much better and hoping they can get back to that someday. (Photos are the Halloween decor, staff was nice looking.)

Wings ordered extra crispy that came out not even crispy.

Stop in on a busy Sunday and sat at the bar. First thing I noticed the employees were not that overly friendly. To start I ordered chicken wings extra crispy, when they came out they were actually not crispy at all. It was nice to see that the fish and seafood dinners are offered here on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's so I ordered the fish fry. The fish was good but I didn't care for either side Mac and Cheese and the Cauliflower. Maybe the employees are over worked as I don't believe there is another good place in the area but I would have given 3 stars but since I had to ask for napkins, Tartar sauce, since the kitchen forgot mine and it seemed like every person working there had a bad attitude or was grumpy.

I ordered the Tri-Pirogies, Garbage Charred Wings, Potato Salad and a Coke. $27.00 Authentic Polish ingredients, techniques and flavors, great quality. Garbage wings: I guessed plum, honey, bourbon, nutmeg.....I was told that I couldn't be more wrong....

What a pleasant surprise. We were driving from Syracuse to Jamestown and the kids were getting hangry. The ambiance alone is worth the pit stop. The menu is extensive pub fare - not too many healthy options - but if you are looking for deep fried pickles, pot roast wraps, wings and burgers, this is a pretty great option. Lots of beer options to wash it all down. Also check out the pierogies, which my son loved. My only complaint was how slow the kitchen was. We kept ourselves occupied with "Eye Spy" and trips to the bathroom to check out the decor.

    Garbage wings - sooooo good!

My fiance and I were looking for a place on the way home from Niagara Falls to the Cleveland area. We couldn't find anything worthwhile on the IExit app so I turned to Yelp! I talked my fiance into driving 15 minutes off the freeway to try Whiskey Hill Saloon for something different and I'm so glad we did! When we walked in, we had a choice to sit in the dining room, a covered patio area or the bar. We decided on the bar, as it had some cool decor and most patrons were in there. Had to follow the reviews and try the garbage wings - fried & chargrilled wings with spicy BBQ sauce - YUM! One of the best wings I've had. I ordered a sandwich that had brisket, pulled pork and ham with a BBQ sauce. That was also delicious! My fiance tried the brisket pierogies; he said they weren't to his liking but everything else was really good! Can't wait to come back on a trip out to the Finger Lakes region!

The freakin friday fish fry is one of th best I ever had. Perfectly, lightly crisped batter around fresh caught haddock. I came back for the Saturday fish fry also (only 2 a week). The fried appetizers were all eh, including veggies, jalapeno cheese curds, jack daniels shrimp, onion ring twistys things, etc. The chard garbage wings were pretty good, giving it a 3/5. The honey mustard wings were 2/5. The service fukin ruled all the girls are friendly. Plus we were here during Halloween Haunted Dining all month, basically a makeshift haunted house is there all October. Which rules. Place gets it. Ill be back for the haddock.

The Tap Room has long been a frequent stop of mine as it is one of the places where "everyone knows…read moremy name". I have not written a review for this eclectic, gem of a dive bar until now because I didn't want my review to be biased and based on the fact that I know the owners/operators and love them dearly. Things have changed for this watering hole recently, however, and it is worth writing about. The Tap Room has now incorporated food into their offerings to patrons beyond nuts, chips, and Tap Room Cheese & Crackers that are a staple at this joint. The grill is officially open and it is a must-try if you are in the area. The cook, Chad, is killing it. The burgers are phenomenal. Homemade patties with delicious seasonings done right. The options on the menu are packed with flavor and they have many to choose from. Be sure to try the TRB if you can handle the kick. My other half says it is one of the best burgers he has ever eaten, and he knows his burgers. The wings... they are served whole, as in not broken down into smaller pieces. By doing this, Chad preserves a lot of the natural juices and the end product is so tender you have to try them to understand. Order the "house" wings the first time you are there. They will blow you your mind. **UPDATE** The grill is no longer open at the Tap Room on a regular basis, but they still do food for special occasions (Bills games, Superbowl, etc.). If you are looking for a place to grab a quick libation on your travels, the full bar won't disappoint.

It's nice and dark inside, but it was very cold from being by the water. They had a live band playing. I wanted a flight of drinks, but they told me they don't serve flights after 8 which I thought was a little odd? The Mac and cheese was good, but very mustard forward with whatever sauce they put on top. I'm not a mustard girl but some people would probably love it! The piece of chicken was super good. The loaded tater tots 10/10!! There was a lot of meat and other toppings on them. My fiancé had a burger and fries which he really enjoyed. Honestly VERY expensive compared to most places. 2 beers, 1 appetizer, 2 meals over $100 before tip. One other thing I like is they give you a complimentary pickle upon request. I only enjoy this because I do not like pickles so It was nice knowing it wouldn't be there.
