Dine here regularly for breakfast. The staff is attentive and the food is always great. I recommend the Greek omelet. The owner and son are very friendly and they take great pride in the running of the restaurant. Our first visit, recommended by a pharmacist this morning when i asked is there a good mom n pop place around for breakfast??? Two ladies said Petes......just right down the road, you may have to wait bit worth it! We waited 5 min. Place was packed. Manager greeted everyone, super friendly, waitress was very helpful, checked on us several times. Our breakfast was great, very filling. Prices are good, place is very clean. Went there for lunch after church six of us to ordered roast beef over mashed potato open open faced receive turkey waitress brought salads after she brought dinner only because we reminded her she forgot them I ordered Cordon Bleu that the menu said chicken breasts they brought one tiny little piece of chicken with ham on it wasn't even 5 ounces smallest piece of chicken breast I've ever seen then they stood at the counter cash register 10 feet from us and talked about us like we weren't there and a Holly were going to lose money could've been less happy with any meal I've ever had anywhere definitely will not go back out also never brought any rolls or butter but like most of the other tables had never even offered it to us my wife also got mashed potatoes ahead alarm set on the size of shooter marbles and the manager said well at least you can tell they weren't out of a box ha ha read more

Been here a handful of times. The decor is lacking to say the least. The food is ok. Typical diner style. Seems to have a very loyal following of the elderly. Staff is very friendly to them. If your younger, I wouldn't expect the same friendliness. But they will still be mostly polite. Try not to sit near the door in the winter. The wind coming through there is freezing! Meh. Just average cafe style food. They certainly have a strong following, as the place is generally full every time I pass the place. The prices are pretty solid too - they are quite reasonable. I was a little disappointed with the kids menu...the pancakes were really small. It wasn't even enough for my four year old, so I can't imagine if a eight or ten year old came in there and ordered off that menu. My stuffed pepper soup was just decent - and just like everything I had here nothing was seasoned. But, I think that's pretty typical of a place like this, especially because they are after and older demographic. Normally a 5 star but today I struggled to even rate it a two. We eat there often and never had a problem,but today I tried their Saturday dinner special. Stuffed pork loin. It was so dry I asked our waitress if I could get some gravy (thinking it might save the day if I smothered it with the gravy) WRONG ! Still so dry and tough I couldn't eat it. I finished my home fries & waited on my wife to finish her dinner (not the same) .The waitress came by again & I told her I couldn't eat it ,just take it away.She at least asked if I wanted something else.My wife was almost done so I said no. Later the owner's son came over to our table and I told him the same thing. He said he'd check it out ,went into the kitchen then his office. We never saw him again. In paying our bill the assistant manager asked how was everything,I repeated my story again. She took my money,gave me my change and said "Have a nice day " . It will be a very long time before we go back as I feel something else,maybe a gift voucher for even just $5.00 could or should have been offered. Very disappointing !!!!
