The food was ok. Had tomato juice on ice. Had the western omelet with mushrooms and American cheese. Home fries and some were very crisp. Had white toast nicely buttered and bacon was cooked the way I liked it. I will include pics. You park in the back and enter thru a gift shop which is confusing when you expect the restaurant. It was my first time being there. The waitress was prompt. The decor needs a little updating. I was there on the Saturday before Easter and there a few tables filled. Total Midwest throwback and I loved it. Waitress right away warned us to expect slower service during the lunch rush. Honestly right up front was refreshing, but you know what- she kept checking on our table, refilling drinks and serving food. I ordered the fried bologna sandwich and it was super tasty. A little greasy but that should be expected I guess. Tasted great, excellent portion and served with a bag of chips. I also got a cup of house made chili "loaded" with cheese and freshly diced onion. It was a really tasty chili, reminded me of a family recipe! Pepsi products so I went with a Mt. Dew. When paying at the register I asked for a soda to go, the guy behind the counter asked if I had ordered a "pop". Not understanding his question, I learned that pop was a soda/Coke- had to laugh a minute as I'd never heard of that expression before. We all had a good laugh actually! Place was really kind of cool, like dining at a friend's home- it had that sort of feel. Super friendly staff, great food, good menu full of options and reasonable prices. One of favorite places for breakfast, my family always seems to gather here when we have breakfast out on Saturdays. We've been coming here forever. Nice little family owned place-that you might not know is there if you didn't know it was there :) My favorite things to order are the Athenian omelet with gyro meat, and the Greek with spinach and feta. Get the home fries extra crispy. There's also the cheddar and bacon, add onion- you really can't go wrong with any of the big, fluffy omelets. Good kids meals, at both breakfast and lunch. Even tho breakfast is my go to, the lunches are great too- the Greek salad, chicken pita, fish sandwich (only on Friday) are awesome. They have probably the best gyro in town. And each day they have a different, amazing homemade soup- my fave is the chicken orzo, my 4 year old prefers the vegetable beef. My only requests would be change coffee brand (I don't know what they use but it's not my fave), and I wouldn't be mad if you served breakfast foods past 11am! read more

This place is right down the road from my grandmas and I have been coming here since it used to be call Jack Frost. We have always had really good breakfast here. Everyone is so nice and just a great place to visit in general. The one thing that have been getting here for the last 30 years (every visit, I mean every visit) had been the rice pudding. It is soo yummy. The standing joke is when I was little we lived 30min away and after lunch we would get rice pudding to go. My father would tell them NOT to give me a spoon in my Togo bag. I would have to wait 30 min to enjoy my tasty desert. It was torture! ( it would have never made it home if I had the spoon) read more

I have been eating here for as long as I can remember. My personal favorite: tuna on a bun with fries and a chocolate shake. I've been eating this since I was a kid, and it's just as good today. I've tried to their Greek salads and gyros, both are which great. Breakfast is equally tasty, and super cheap. Went here yesterday with my sister. We loved the place, the food and the staff. Both of us thought it was the best we've had. She had a sausage sandwich and I had a philly chicken sandwich without the bun and it was done up like a meal in itself not just the insides of a sandwich. Delicious!! I had an egg over easy, gyro meat, and fried potatoes. The egg was perfect. The hash browns are thin sliced and fried to crispy brown perfection. The gyro meat was a refreshing change from Bacon. Excellent friendly servers. read more

We were seated at 11:01 and was told "Breakfast is over we're only serving lunch now." I could deal with that if they were busy but we were the only customers in the restaurant!!! Two minutes prior they would have served us breakfast. They did't even enquirer as to what we wanted to order. We only wanted an omelette. Given that we were the only ones in the dining room they could have easily accommodated us. We left and went to Waffle House and enjoyed a light fluffy waffle, delicious crispy homefries and a pecan waffle all of which were cooked to perfection. Shame on you Beyesly's. I wish my experiences were different. I've tried six or more times over the years but the service is consistently lacking in exactly the same ways. It takes a long time to get service, you don't feel your patronage is valued and sometimes it's just feels like a "wow, do you actually speak to customers that way?" Disappointing. Unfortunately. This is a classic diner in a small town. Service is very good with very friendly staff. Food is quite good. I usually have a BLT or hamburger followed by their amazing rice pudding or baklava when it is available. Breakfast is also very good with all the classic menu items. We tried this place for the 3rd time. I don't know why we have bothered. We keep thinking it can't be as bad as we remembered. It is. Thin runny clear sausage gravy, slow as he'll, waitresses are dirty and openly complain about the customers. The regulars are rude and very old. They don't seem to want to attract new customers. Nothing matches and the restaurant is filthy. They let a woman bring her dog (NOT a service dog- it was a long haired Chihuahua) the dog silent their whole meal licking the table and rubbing it's butt and face on three carpet. I wish I was kidding. No one was pleasant. When we checked out, the "hostess" didn't ask how our meal was, she didn't thank us for coming, she didn't tell us to have a nice day. She asked what we wanted to tip and literally did not make eye contact or speak to us other than that. Crappy coffee, crappy service, crappy food, crappy atmosphere. Go to Samanthas, similar prices but it's actually good. read more

We had some family in town from Kentucky and all the men decided to get together for an early-morning breakfast. They suggested this place, which I had heard of but never eaten at. We arrived and the waitress who was also the manager worked hard to get us a table with enough seats. We ended up having to split between a booth and a table but we were fine with it. Service was a bit slow and the place was staffed with all older women. I had hot-chocolate to drink and it was served in a glass mug, which was unique. It was very good hot-chocolate, definitely not your average powdered stuff. I ordered sausage biscuits and gravy with a side of home fries. The biscuits and gravy were very good, and the home fries were nice and crispy without being burnt, and not too greasy. The food was pretty well priced and portions were good. There was a lot of regulars which normally means a place is good. The ambience is ok. It's an older building, so it has some character which was cool. I would definitely recommend it. read more
