Totally unprofessional, this company is tiny and feels privileged. If you experience rhis call roadside back and report Pete's towing. They will send another company out. Pete's Towing & Recovery - Petes Towing to the rescue! - Towing Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

I first called another towing service that informed me that they only tow for law enforcement now. But they recommend Pete's to me. Pete's got out to me quickly and tried to help me solve the issue with my son's vehicle not starting. They tried to jump it, helped me check fuses and troubleshoot. Unfortunately we didn't find the issue. So we towed the vehicle to my house so I could troubleshoot some more. The tow truck driver recommended I check every fuse. So I looked at the fuse cover which had a legend of fuses. After a few minutes I noticed a 15A where a 20A should be. Sure enough it was blown. Replaced and started right up. Thanks to Pete's for the prompt response, and taking the time to help troubleshoot. Hope we don't need a tow again, but if I do I'm calling Pete's. read more

After waiting almost 2 hours for a AAA dispatch, Aaron arrived to assist me with my car that would not start. Aaron brought over his portable charger and before connecting it, he tried to start the car and it started!! Instead of just saying problem solved and going on his way, he stayed and connected his diagnostic equipment to try and diagnose the problem. All tests came back OK. Although the almost 2 hour wait was unacceptable, I really appreciated the customer service exhibited by Aaron. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If AAA send this tow company to you, tell them to leave and call for a different one. As they backed my car out of my parking space, the driver did it with the door open and completely BROKE my door by bending it all the way back! It wouldn't even shut and the driver said, "don't worry I'll take care of it." He didn't call AAA to report it, he called his boss and they both devised a plan to get away with it. So I met them at my house which was 2 hours away. I got there an HOUR before them, which was weird because we left at the same time for the same place. His boss covered his ass and LIED to AAA saying the door was broke before he towed it, and his proof was he video recorded and took pics of the door to "prove it was like that before he got there" lmao... feeling guilty huh? I owed 20 dollars on the tow and the kid paid for it out of his own pocket. Why would he do that if my door was already broken?? Dirtbag workers employed by a dirtbag con artist. Don't give these crooks money. Oh yeah, when I first got there the idiot driver said he almost pulled a different car thinking it was mine, so good thing I showed up. LOL read more

Thank you to Ed Weenie. My Mom and I got stuck in mud, there was no street lights around and in the middle of nowhere. We called AAA and when Ed got there he called backup because "we were really stuck". He was advised to leave because that's not part of his job, but he stayed and got us out.
