I've been meaning to write this review for a long time... So Allison has been taking care of my dog Nymeria (yes, big Game of Thrones fan here, haha) on and off for the last month. She started out when I had to go on a business trip in early February, but I loved her services so much, I contracted her for weekly dog walkings. I absolutely cannot tell you enough how much Nymeria loves her! And how much her walking and interactions with other dogs have improved. As far as pet sitting goes, this is as good as it gets. We have been using various pet sitters over the years all to varying degrees of success. We do have a lot of pets...a greyhound, 2 rabbits, 3 birds, and 3 guinea pigs. All with various diets/needs and the rabbits and birds are free to roam the house. So the standards are high with my wife who volunteers at a small animal rescue service and my training at the Academy for Dog Trainers, Then we found Peticularly Perfect. Leah came over and instantly we knew that the animals would be happy. We went through the various routines. And it didn't phase Leah one bit. She took it all in and from her first stay, we knew we had found a perfect sitting service. Animals were all well taken care of and everything we asked Leah to do, she did effortlessly. And we live getting the pictures of the pet family when we are away. We have since recommended the service to our neighbors and they are all happy. You won't be disappointed. read more

I can't say enough great things about PP! We have a dog that gets walked 3 times a day and an elderly cat that needs medication. PP's employees are professional, timely, and have taken great care of our pets. We have used them for dog walks and medication administration on our evenings out, and also for pet/house sitting for multiple trips! We are so grateful to have found Peticularly Perfect! We have 2 very needy, senior dogs, another dog, and a cat. We live on a property without a fenced-in yard, so having a dog walker is essential. Charlene is our normal walker, and she is absolutely wonderful with our dogs! She comes on time, takes them for their walkabout, and even cleans up any messes she sees around the property! The really great thing about Allison and Peticularly Perfect is that they work as a team, utilizing an efficient software program that allows you to make changes to your animals' needs whenever you need to, thereby allowing other walkers to step in if needed. Before our first walks, Heather came to get to know our dog, and you could tell that she's a professional, loves animals, and was so respectful of how we took care of our dog (an anxious and high-maintenance spaniel mix). Kate took amazing care of my dog, Darla, for a few days while we were out of state. Darla was recovering from CCL surgery and an infection, so she was on heavy meds and was still using a sling to go on walks. Kate was happy to take on Darla's special needs, and she made sure Darla was comfortable while we were away. I really appreciated all of the pictures Kate sent after each visit, and she got in touch with me if there was anything out of the norm going on. From the first consultation I could tell that Kate genuinely cares about the well being of the pets she looks after. Allison was also very helpful in coordinating and connecting me with Kate, and answering any questions I had about the online scheduling/payment system. Peticularly Perfect's services are wonderful! I just returned from a trip, and we had Tiffany and Tanner come to exercise to play with our 6-year-old Golden Retriever for an hour on days when my husband was going to be away from our dog for most of the day. They sent me daily photos and updates via text on how he did on his walks; they also left my husband a daily log to say how our pup did and what they did for him. We had difficulty finding a pet sitter for our 2 dogs over the holidays. We had plans to leave for nearly 2 full weeks and were desperate to find someone we could trust to care for our 2 sweet boys. It was pure luck that we found Ellen and Allison. They came out, met our family and immediately felt like old friends. They are both so friendly and professional that they instantly put our minds at ease and knew our dogs would be in the best of hands. While we were away, Allison and Ellen kept in touch with us. We received daily photos and messages. Ellen gave our dogs lots of attention, was completely aware of their anxiety and did everything possible to love them and make them feel safe. She took them for walks, brushed them, and gave them lot's of pets and treats. Eleen kept a full log with notes of what she and the boys had done each day. It was wonderful seeing all the notes when we got home. It was fun to read all about their "vacation" and all the things they had done while we were gone. She had even put in some extra hours to make certain that our dogs felt safe. I can't believe how amazing she was! The rates are the best I could find in the area- and a real steal considering how fantastic Ellen and Allison are! Their love for animals shows through in everything they do. The way they run their business demonstrates a huge commitment to pets and the families who love them. It is such a relief to have found Allison and Ellen. We had put off vacations for too many years and one reason was our worry for leaving our dogs. Now with Ellen and Allison we don't have to worry anymore. Peticularly Perfect was amazing! I recently had to part ways with my previous pet sitter, who wasn't impressive, so I was anxious leaving my 2 cats and tank of fish in anyone's care. Peticularly Perfect immediately gave us the warm fuzzies during our consultation and in every interaction while I set up the service. When we were out of town I got daily updates with photos and when I arrived home my cats were relaxed and the fish were fat and happy! Another great stay for my dog at Peticularly Perfect! This is a great boarding facility. My dog gets her own indoor/outdoor kennel ( complete with a/c and heat) My dog is not social with other dogs, so it's perfect for her. However, there is also group boarding if your dog likes that. My dog was walked several times each day. The facility is clean and well staffed and on a large country property. Allison is trustworthy, organized , and above all, caters to your dog's needs. I believe she also offers in home pet ( your house, her staff), and I would totally trust her staff if I needed those services. My dog came home happy and healthy and that means the world to me. I also drive from Solana Beach to bring my dog here because I've been so happy with them. read more

So awesome! We have 3 dogs and they are our babies! We have left our blue tick (1 1/2 years) here twice and the other two once each (5 year weimeraner and 6 month pit-lab mix) and every single time they have come back to us exhausted and happy! We needed regular dog walking service three afternoons a week for my elderly mother's sweet senior dog. This is the best pet care/house sitting company I have ever used! I currently have 4 large dogs and a puppy that had a broken leg (in cast). They have taken superior care of my dogs, even with medical conditions. They also take care of my house like water plants and dispose of pet waste. I have used them for pet visits while I'm at work and house stays when we went on vacation. It's been hard to find a reliable person to take care of 4 dogs AND the household items while we are away on vacation. They are super responsive, even to last minute requests. I was coming to the area for a wedding and my plans for my dog had fallen through last minute because of some medical reasons. I had sent a message here on Yelp looking for some help for someone to take my dog out for a bit the night of the wedding, and luckily Allison was able to help. She had me set up a profile on their online portal and I was all booked and ready to go. I had gotten a call after I completed my profile to go over some details. They were sending out Ellen as she is the best fit for my dog's behavior (he's a bit shy and weary to new people coming around when were not with him) My dog warmed up to her and it all seemed to go without a hitch! I had to make some last minute adjustments, but Ellen was able to adapt to this change without any issues. She took a photo and left us some feedback on the online portal for us, which I found to be great. The feedback described the initial interaction, which was something that slightly worried me before the visit, and what they did during the time she was there. To my surpruse, she went above and beyond what she had to do which I can not be thankful enough for I couldn't be happier with the service received from Peticularly Perfect and Ellen! If I'm ever in the area again, I will for sure be using their service and will be recommending to anyone I know in the area with pets! I've been a client of Pet Perfect for a number of years. Brenna currently takes care of my 2 fur babies and does an excellent job. She comes for walks a few times a week and any overnight stays as needed. She sends great write ups and pics and takes great care of the house and yard cleanup. I know they are in good hands and well loved. Allison and the gang take great care of my blind girl, they are great about helping with meds, the have dealt with bee stings, and Ellen was so kind when she was walking my kids and came in to find my Domino collapsed outside and stayed extra long until I could rush home to get him to the vet. We have four animals: a dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon. Our vacation this summer was not pet friendly and so we had to leave the dog behind. Jenna was an amazing pet sitter!! She gave all 4 animals so much attention and sent us pictures every day! We had her stay the night because of the dog. She gave the bearded dragon a bath to help with her shedding and gave detailed updates of what each pet was doing while we were gone. Really happy with this pet agency and particularly Brenna, she's been our primary sitter. We have two cats that are both special, one with food sensitivity and one that's just scared of his own shadow and super particular about anything and everything. We are actually on vacation, it's the first time we've been gone for over a week and Brenna is taking care of our kitties. She's done an amazing job, she is very detailed and makes sure to do things exactly as we do them so she doesn't disturb the kitties' routine. She really cares about my cats, and that shows in the pictorial and the emails with feedback I get from her. I know they aren't required to, but she's always kind to respond back to my texts. If she can take care of my special need kitties, she can take care of your animals no problem. I love how responsive and kind Allison (the owner) and Lauren (assistant) has been as well, they are both very understanding and have been super helpful. I'm really grateful to Brenna for taking care of my fur kids, I have been so anxious being so far away from them, but she's been making sure to give me detailed updates on how they are eating and drinking, and play and love time. I had to be away for several months. Ellen did a great job taking care of my two cats. I wanted to give the cats fresh air during cool days and only turn on the A/C when needed. Ellen made sure that was done. She went above and beyond when ants invaded the cats' bowls one day, spending extra time cleaning it up and vacuuming and making sure the situation was under control before leaving. We used Peticularly Perfect for their 3 week in house boarding training. We have a King Charles (Jordan) and he's only 6 months old. Alison and the crew were very nice and polite. Jordan had a great stay. The training he received was awesome. We are very pleased with the training he received. He grew up in just 3 short weeks of being there. He was definitely not the same puppy that we left there. I would recommend Alison and Peticularly Perfect for all your dog training needs. They did a great job with Jordan. We are very pleased with how well Jordan has done. The PRICE was very fair and below most. We were afraid to take him here at first because of the low price. But we got the best training at the lowest price. So, double win! We did feel very uncomfortable with Alison's communication with us on the last two days of his stay though. And it was very stressfull upon picking him up. Not the experience we had hoped for. And that is why it has taken us a month to write this review. We weren't sure how to respond yet. They say that they are open 24hrs a day. But we did not experience that. So, I don't think that's true. But the training Jordan received was top notch. And everything else was great!
