The moment we pull into the lot, he's already excited to go inside -- which tells me everything I need to know. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and professional. It's clear they genuinely love dogs and treat every pet like their own. Bleu always comes home happy, well-exercised, and relaxed, which is exactly what you want when trusting someone with your dog. The facility is clean, well-organized, and designed so dogs can play, socialize, and rest comfortably. I also really appreciate the communication and how easy they make the drop-off and pick-up process. Snug was able to board out cat Mac same day after PetSmart hotel wouldn't take him since his rabies vaccination expired during his stay. We called in a panic and they had one spot left for the thanksgiving holiday. Phew! The staff was friendly, reassuring and greeted Mac warmly. Better yet, there is a vet on staff who can administer his rabies shot. No 48 hour hold or issues like Petsmart's policy. This was a huge relief. Their cat condos are upstairs and visible from the lobby. An awesome staff member gave Mac rubs before putting him in his condo. My dog absolutely loves it here! On the days I have to go into work, I don't like to leave my puppy at home by herself. I brought her to Snug and boy does she love it! I check on her on the cameras during the day, and she's playing and having a great time. When I come pick her up, she doesn't want to leave! It gives me comfort knowing that she is well taken care of (if you provide lunch for your dog, they will make sure she's fed at the appropriate time), and that my puppy has a lot of fun. It's a great way to socialize her and she comes home tired from her fun day. Our puppy just one year old. We enrolled her in a 4 week boot camp at Snug. What a wonderful facility and their staff is so helpful. Our trainer did a great job of getting our girl to walk on a leash properly. She learned many other commands and was much easier to control. She is a spunky girl, and enjoys socializing with other pups. Now she knows when and where she can do this! Yes, she has manners now!!! Mark has been terrific during our one on one follow up lessons. My Golden Retriever is a frequent flier here and loves it. We use them for daycare and overnight boarding. He gets excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. The video cameras work well, and I love being able to watch him swim. The staff are great at being present in the dog play area. They intervene and ensure the dogs are playing well together, giving time outs, stopping humping etc. It would be nice if the dogs had more room to run but overall five stars and recommend. We tried three or four different places before settling on this one after a recommendation from a friend. I love that they offer late night and early morning pick ups (for an added fee). I travel the majority of the year and have to board Storm at a minimum between 2-4weeks at a time each month. He lives at Snug more than at home. He went above and beyond to ensure that Kaia received the best possible training experience, and he provided us with the tools and support we needed to continue reinforcing her new behaviors (truly, I cannot overstate how much Kaia LOVES him). My service dog was trained by Snug. I am super happy with the results. We go back every few weeks for refresher training and my dog always loves going back. My corgi underwent the board and train program for three weeks and I couldn't recommend this program enough. Specifically, Mark went above and beyond during his time with our corgi. I cannot express enough how thankful we are for Snug Pet Resort and our trainer Mark! Our dog is a lab mix ( maybe Pitt and lab) he was a rescue and is 120lbs and 3 years old now but was 2 years and 10 months when he went through the onboard training. Our dog was very reactive on leash and off, he did not want anyone else in our home if it weren't us and would bark and growl at any visitors. Mark completely changed our dogs life and ours. Visitors are welcome, a muzzle is required for initial visits when meeting people but after that we just keep the shock collar on and he is very well behaved. I used to wonder how we would ever be able to take our dog out on walks without reactive behavior and this training changed his life, our dog is so respectful and calm. read more

5+ *s My baby, now 11, has been attending Snug for over 6 years. As a younger rescue dog, she was very nervous. We hired a trainer who helped her gain confidence, and soon, she seemed to feel "free". Looking for a daycare for occasional day stays and possible overnight boarding was like looking for a daycare for my child, which, of course, she is. After trying several and having to force my baby to go, I decided my husband and I would work out a way to make sure she was never alone. Eventually, i started to search for daycare again and found Snug. The staff was friendly and welcoming. When I brought my baby in, she was a bit hesitant, but with coaxing and a treat, she was off and running. Years later, she has the impression she owns the place, aka Princess. With Snug's staff, she has blossomed into a happy, confident girl. She goes crazy when I tell her we are going. As she comes over for her obligatory great and seems prepared to venture back into her kennel! So, I love them, Barb will greet you at the front with her beautiful smile. Sorry, ladies, Mark is taken by my girl. Haha! She adores him. All of the staff love her and love their jobs. Long review but worth the read! I found Snug on a recommendation from a friend who took their puppy for training. I have a rescue dog who was severely abused in his previous "life" so he's bonded to us and WAY over protective. That means he likes NOBODY and no other animals. We started with the training. Worth every penny! He still doesn't like other animals or people but, so much better behaved in general. We knew that was going to be the case as he was already 6 when we rescued him so his behavior was more set in place. He's super smart so he knows right from wrong and still chooses to do what he wants at times. It's kinda like having a teenager all over again. But I can actually manage him on a walk and he'll ignore people as long as they keep their distance from us. Definitely a HUGE difference from before training! Started boarding with them when we travel because he wasn't tolerating dog sitters. Still can't do daycare with other dogs but we add on the TLC package so that he gets individual play time while he's there. I really love that they send us pictures while we're gone so we can see how happy he is! The reason I'm writing specifically now is because we just boarded him this week and it was an AMAZING experience. When we brought him in, David was so excited to see him AND our Boomer was super excited to see David! We have NEVER seen that from him with another person! He jumped in his arms and kissed him like he was "his person"! Made us feel so good to know that this was a good experience for him. When we picked him up this morning, and I said who we were there for, Natalie got a huge smile on her face and said that he was the sweetest dog and loved him! We have NEVER heard that from someone before! He really is sweet...to us...but not anyone else. And there is so much anxiety when we take him places because of that. Snug is, hands down, the best thing that has happened for us as dog owners. They have brought out the sweet side of our baby like no one else has ever done. I want to start my review off by really stressing that I love both of my dogs and would DIE FOR THEM. They are my precious children. That being said, my dog Bear is the biggest A-hole on the planet. He was an impossible puppy and dog. We were going insane. We couldn't take a shower without him SCREAMING at the top of his lungs. He wrecked everything. Screamed in the car. Ate everything. EVERYTHING. No puppy spray mattered. We looked into dog training. We found snug! We sent our incredibly stubborn dog, Bear, to the 8 week masters class. Holy crap. First off, he pees every time he goes there because he loves it so much. He loves the staff, even the Vet, and he LOVES his trainer Megan! He's still an A-hole, but he's a manageable A-hole. I can bring him to store, dispensary, park, people's houses, and I can handle him. It's been over a year, and as long as we continue to keep up with the training, he continues to thrive. The best part is that we can SHOWER. He just chills on his bed. It's been over a year and we now adopted another dog. She's more mild mannered and we sent her for one month. She also worked with Megan. It's been one week and it's already so much easier with them both being trained, especially knowing the same commands. Mocha is a 70lb shepherd/pit mix, and Bear is a 65lb pit/cur mix. Make no mistake though; I'd send a 2 pound yorkie. My favorite thing about their training programs though, is my dogs cam out with the same personalities. They didn't try to "change" my dog, or get them to "submit". They gave my dogs tools for structure and expectations. I recommend Snug for training ALL THE TIME. My dogs listen to me but most importantly they are HAPPILY DOING SO. We have a trusting relationship. I can cook, clean, have guests, talk on the phone, and my dogs will stay placed on their beds, happily and comfortably, without distress. I cannot recommend Snug enough!!! I have told every pet owner I know about their amazing training program! My 3yo pup needed training and with another baby on the way we decided to jump at the opportunity. We signed up for the 3 week training and the results are amazing! We still need to do our part as owners and continue our in home training but with the training he received it makes it so much easier for us to follow through. I would like to note that our pup has extreme separation anxiety, after the training he still does (just like humans, anxiety is not something you can fix through training), but we have noticed that he is A LOT calmer. The commands that we were taught have worked and lots of hugs and kisses have helped him as well :) The initial contact with Toni was great, she was very responsive and explained everything throughly. We got assigned to Megan and oh my lanta, we struck gold with her!!! We immediately felt super comfortable leaving our dog in her care, 3 weeks is a long time so having peace of mind knowing Megan was in charge made the 3 weeks fly by! At the end of the 3 week training, my husband and I needed our in person training. I'm sure we were more difficult than our pup was but Megan was super patient with us :) We drilled her with every question that came to mind on the spot and she answered all of them without hesitation. We sent our new rescue doodle, Wilson, to 4 weeks of boot camp training with Megan. Before he left, he was anxious, on high alert all day, barking and nervous with normal household sounds, and both he and we were a mess! He was only in our home for 3 weeks before boot camp so we weren't sure what to expect when he came home. Imagine our delight that he came back a much more confident dog! He doesn't bark at the washing machine or the ice maker or the blender. He is much more calm and takes naps now, something he had not done before boot camp. He is so comfortable that he occasionally lays down with his head in his food bowl. Most importantly, he now seeks out my daughter, playing with her and asking for belly rubs, rather than snapping at her and acting skittish around her. In addition to the above, Wilson came home knowing all the commands, which we are reinforcing daily.
