I wanted to her to be in her own environment (I'm one of those people that view their dogs as part of the family and my husband and I like to refer to her as our "fur-baby", so yes, we are over protective dog-parents). All my friends who normally would have watched her- couldn't, due to the fact it was over Christmas and New Years- Panicking, I did a quick search on Yelp and found this place. I saw they have good reviews, so I emailed the owner, Meghan Gilliatt, and she emailed me back right away (um, amazing service!) She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a free consultation with the manager, Laurie. She came over to our house and right away we knew that the people who work here, love pets! Our dog immediately loved Laurie (after all dogs know right away if some one is a doggie-lover) We set up our doggies visits while we were away. While we were gone, the employees sent me text updates with pictures every day! They also fill out a daily visit "report card" so you know everything that went on for each visit. I loved that even though we were far away, our dog was happy in her own home and getting so much love! This is a fabulous company and they have so many options and services that really cater to your needs. I will be using them again! :D

Again, well worth the wait. They are accommodating, fair, and compassionate. I love the parking lot which is rare in Birmingham. The walk to the door is a few feet from your car. It's quiet inside (unless there is another verbal kitty patient). The techs and doctor sit on the cat's level (the floor). They really make them feel comfortable. More than one pet parent can be in the room which is important to us. You can even hold your kitty and take them back to get blood drawn or nails clipped. We never feel rushed or like a number here. A few days later I had to take him to the vet and they gave me a complimentary nail trim because marcys didn't cut his dew claws and the vet said they still looked long anyways. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. my suggestion is they need some Lysol and some training.

The owners are dog lovers and protect them even if they have to disappoint customers. ie-window tapping by customers is forbidden, puppy handling is strictly monitored and done is a special area after they explain how to hold pups and once a pup is selected, absolutely no customers are allowed to touch that pup except the family it will be joining. The puppies are taken home at night, which I believe is why my dog is so well adjusted and without phobias. He is clearly a dog who has only known happiness and kindness. When they send the dog home with its new family, they set up an appointment after hours so they can carefully explain dog care without interruptions. We also received a package which included a wellness check at a local vet, an in-home training session/safety check, food supply (same as what he was already eating to avoid digestive issues) and other goodies. The store carries a great selection of high quality items--the clothes are irresistible and I always find something I just have to get!
