I personally love this place because they know how to handle my crazy Maltese Yorkie. They have good prices, make my little man all freshly cute and top it off with a bandana or bow if you get the full grooming done. I also tend to make only a few days in advance appointments and they fit me in! When they told me how my dog is such a sweetie to them, I was just in shock with his over protective attitude. I'm from out of town and decided to have my dog groomed. I called them and they were polite and got me scheduled for the next day. They were detail oriented when asking how I wanted his hair cut. I just wanted him to have a bath and basic trim which they did for a fair price. I'd recommend them. read more

My dogs looked cute and were cut the way I asked, however, I am giving Shores Grooming 2 stars because of what I over heard! When I walked in to pick up my dogs the door to the grooming area was closed, but the door behind the counter was open. I couldn't see anyone, but I could hear them. They were blow drying dogs so they must not have heard me come in or shout hello. They then went on to talk about how I still wasn't there... how it was ridiculous. That's when one of the women said "she said her husband was coming to get the dogs" and the other women replied with a laugh saying "ha yeah we all know how that goes". They went on with a few more snarky remarks about my husband and I. When the blow dryers shut off and I shouted "HELLO" everything went silent. Ladies.... next time maybe you should talk crap about your paying customers! I shouldn't have even tipped and I WILL NOT be returning! read more

I've been bringing my cat and dog(s) to Shores Grooming since ~2007. I cant believe I never wrote a review before?! I wanted to go with a local groomer for a couple of reasons. First off, I had a long haired Australian Shepherd whose hair was a fierce HOT mess in the summertime, oh god. Petsmart/Petco would do a total hack job on her. I got tired of forking over so much $ and getting subpar grooms so I started calling around, and that's how I found Shores. Shores was about the same price but its so much more personal when you go in there, and I felt that they really cared for my Aussie. They always gave her back to me looking and smelling awesome! The owner seems to always be there and has always been friendly with me. Maverick, my Aussie died in 2011, but I continue to bring my Maine Coon cat to Shores for shave downs during the spring/summertime. They do a great job, and the price cant be beat for the service you are receiving. read more

I have been bringing my miniature poodle here for about 6 months and this is the best place thus far. She has a very nervous temperament and seems to not want to be with anyone other than me. She's been to other groomers who have cut her too close or has scared her to the point where she won't even allow me to put her down so I don't leave her. Took her here on a whim one day because she's white and was playing in mud, I had to work and it's right across from my job. She went in a bit nervous and at first I was a bit annoyed by the cash or check only option because I almost never pay cash. But by the time I came back she was happy and playing with them as if it were me. She also smelled unbelievable with the cutest little accessories every time. The best part about it is that they always are able to fit her in at the last minute! I've learned to appreciate the cash only because it's a small family owned business and I love the fact that I can take her somewhere that she actually enjoys and I don't have to worry about her being stressed out. Bottom line, this is a great place to bring your pets. read more

I just took my puppy here for the first time the other day. I called the day before to schedule and the women was very nice and helpful. When we got there I think he knew we were leaving him there for a little because he was getting skiddish but they were so gentle with him. When we picked him up he looked so handsome and happy and they gave him a little bandana. The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely come here again! read more

I will never go to this groomer again. I brought my siberian husky to be groomed. I told the groomer that he was special needs as he was older (15 at the time). The groomer said they would be able to take care of him. I found out that that she put Tahoe in a kennel. Tahoe was not able to hold his bladder the length of time that he was caged. By the way the groomer was rude. After this experience I will never come back. It has been a couple of years since. The only reason I is I was looking up information for another groomer, who I have never had a problem with, and I came across this website. I wish I could have written this review sooner. I feel so bad that my Tahoe went through this experience. I have another rescue dog and you can be sure I will never bring her to Shores Grooming. read more

I love bringing my dogs here. Staff is very friendly and attentive to all three of my dogs, especially my diabetic, blind, geriatric one. Usually can get them all done in about an hour and a half. their hours are hard to book with my work schedule and I have to make appointments far in advance which isn't something I usually can do. Other than that the place is clean, smells good and I feel safe leaving my dogs there. read more

Really great! We had just had another baby 6 months ago and our poor pup Rufus has been a bit neglected so they had their work cut out for them!
