Her unprofessionalism was not only noticed by family and friends, but other vendors as well. DO NOT HIRE, unless you like someone to drink on the job while taking your money. *** We chose to hire "INDNGRL" for day of coordination services, event staff, and bartending for our wedding. We have nothing bad to say about the staff or bartender, they were amazing throughout the evening! However....several issues arose with Charity. While she came across as communicative and professional leading up to the wedding, that all seemed to fade away after the final payment was made. We are still unsure if this was due to having overbooked herself, not being fully prepared for our event, or if she no longer cared after she got the remaining money due. An overview of what we paid her for: 1. Final decor check (not set up). Things were overlooked and had to be corrected by family members and friends. Some items never got set up. 2. Oversight of cleanup. We are missing 20 fabric tablecloths, our cake topper, and several glass vases. Other items were mistakenly discarded, but these were definitely not meant to be thrown away. 3. Responsible for the event permit and enforcing venue rules and regulations. Our venue was beer/wine only, strictly no liquor. Knowing that liquor was not allowed on the premises, rather than instructing people to remove the liquor that managed to get inside the building, she instead asked members of our wedding party for liquor and proceeded to take multiple shots. Her assistant also took a shot. We hired her to be professional and carry out her duties, uncompromised. We struggle to understand how someone can simultaneously be professional and fulfill their job obligations while also drinking on the job. Other vendors commented on her unprofessionalism. After confronting her about the drinking, she claimed she only drinks if invited to. None of the guests we spoke to can corroborate that story. Instead, they shared our shock over this behavior. Charity claimed that company policy allows for 2 drinks to be consumed during an event, however, after reviewing our signed contract and her company's website, we found no evidence or mention. Most importantly, this was not discussed prior to the event. She is also the kind of person to juggle 10 events in a weekend (her own words), which makes you wonder how much of a priority your event is compared to others, and whether or not the details you have painstakingly thought out will be executed. Our details sure weren't. Lastly, the lack of remorse was the final nail in the coffin. Maybe it's cliche, but my husband and I feel somewhat cheated out of our money because we don't feel like she did the job we paid her to do. Luckily, our family stepped up to fill the gaps and made certain we were unaware of her behavior during our wedding.

I have used Betina before, and it was always amicable in transaction of business. The location for her to travel to was the Embassy Suites Hotel in North Buckhead, Atlanta. She has always stated it was part of her policy to travel to client by location no charge, hourly fees standard by service included this. Day of EVENT: I informed Betina hours prior to arrival time that the hotel rooms were not ready (hotel issue with their cleaning services), and she should wait to arrive until closer to room issuance to our group. She cannot paint faces or bodies anywhere in hotel other than the private rooms. Upon her arrival, Betina had consistently complained about the situation with the hotel, complained about me directly AND to my friends and was derogatory towards me during the services (I was a long-time customer who had brought her ample business and noteriety through the bodypaint avenue for specific events). Horrible unprofessionalism and behavior. Not to mention she gave my friends simple glam makeup which we could have done ourselves and overcharged them. Additionally, she charged me for extra time but the time she spent on me the paint could have been more detailed like I originally wanted. However, I gave her personally rave review of the job, as I usually do.  Upon delivery of invoice, received until Oct 31, I noticed extra fees for travel, parking, and time not used. I disputed amount with her, said I'd pay for hourly services as rendered and previously agreed upon. After a few days of discussing through text/phone, I made full payment of agreed services: hourly paint, not extra fees. After 6 days, Betina began harrassing me on Facebook through my friends' posts of Halloween, they blocked her, remove her comments. I did as well. She posted disparaging comments about me on multiple pictures, slandered me, discussed our private business matters on social media. This was public shaming, harassment, stalking. She then contacted my former landlord/friend to obtain my new address and discussed our private business matter with him. I am forced to file a restraining order against Betina. The behavior from her was erratic, highly emotional, vindictive, and I was a long time customer of hers. I had brought her lots of business and notoriety for her bodypaint work, much of which was my design. Betina's actions in attempting to 'bully' me into paying extra fees on the invoice have affected my family, friends, and my business. Many of my professional colleagues and clients are connected to me through social media, her public display of unprofessional slander concerning a private business matter was abhorable and has cost me potential clients. Not to mention the harassment of contacting my former landlord. Throughout this process, I have remained absolutely diplomatic in discourse with her and did not respond to her bullying online or through text. I requested multiple times to discuss a resolution with no response or attempt to thereof from Betina. Since I am having to resort to legal matters in order to halt the harassment , stalking, and slander from Betina Bailey (Bling It On Parties), I do want the public to be aware of her extreme unprofessionalism and racketeering this individual has rendered through her services to me and my friends during this service. Stalking, harrassment, online or text bullying, and slander are NOT proper nor legal protocol for a partially disputed invoice. I do not want this woman to conduct herself this way with any other consumers in this manner nor milk their pockets with surprise fees. She was paid in full for her services rendered, sans her surprise fees and parking, and I have receipt/proof to provide.

Unfortunately, the experience ended on a disappointing note due to communication and billing issues. When we arrived, we discovered there was an additional 2.7% credit card fee that had not been disclosed ahead of time. More concerning, about 30 minutes into the flight the pilot descended to land because he believed we had booked only a 30-minute ride. We were surprised because we had clearly scheduled a 1-hour sunset flight two months earlier, and our name was even listed on the schedule board for a one-hour tour. After we clarified the misunderstanding, we went back up and completed the full flight. However, when we landed, we were told the total would now be $775 because we had gone slightly over the hour -- even though the extra time resulted from the earlier misunderstanding, not from any request on our part. After discussion, the total was slightly reduced, but we still ended up paying more than the original quoted amount. I'm sharing this mainly so future customers can be prepared to ask questions about timing, billing policies, and additional fees before flying. The actual flight was scenic and memorable, but the end result left us disappointed.

We chose Atlanta. Booking was easy and went smoothly. The staff was very friendly over the phone and in person. Blue Ridge Helicopter is located at Gwinnett Airport in Lawrenceville. The first date we chose unfortunately didn't work out. Heavy rain was expected that afternoon. Our pilot Chris did not recommend us flying that afternoon and asked if we were open to rescheduling. We rescheduled for a couple of weeks ahead and the weather was perfect! Chris is experienced and was very knowledgeable of Atlanta history and landmarks. They informed us that if we wanted to book again in the future, we would pay the same Groupon rate. Very competitive to other helicopter tours!

Wow. Just, wow!…read more After receiving my wedding photos on Sunday night, I couldn't have enough wonderful things to say about Sarah Trulove at Trulove Photography. If she's in your list of potential photographers, book her NOW! A little backstory: I was a month away from my wedding with no photographer. Beginning to panic, I turned to a friend of mine who is an event coordinator. That ended up being the best decision I made for my wedding, because she sent me to Sarah. A month out and she was perfectly willing to work with me to figure out my photography needs. Sarah is not only a true professional, she is friendly, has a wonderful attitude, and actually makes people feel comfortable in front of a camera! That is truly a gift. Beyond her incredible ability to make people feel at home and welcomed, she has a wonderful gift behind the lens. Our photographs are absolutely gorgeous. And, get this! She even worked with me to shoot some example photos that I had found online! That is something I couldn't have even expected. The last few days, since I sent people the photos, I have been getting emails/texts constantly about how beautiful they are! Our one regret is not booking another night. Location is convenient to everything - the restaurants, the shops, and the wineries. Most wineries are only 10-15 minutes away from the inn. We stayed in The Madison. This suite sleeps up to four guests and offers two queen beds, spacious living room with wet bar, and flat screen TVs. We loved how the living room is completely separate from the bedroom. Even the AC units are separate. We were able to control the room temperatures to our liking and close the door in between. We all slept comfortably. Due to Covid, check in and check out are all done by phone and went smoothly. The room was left open for us with the keys and instructions right by the door. Continental breakfast is available at their event space. Though we didn't indulge, it looked pretty fresh and yummy. The event space is beautiful and perfect for more intimate weddings and occasions. We had a wonderful stay at 27 On Park and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dahlonega!

It's a quaint little building right off the square, so you can easily walk everywhere. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms are cozy and private. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi tub, a very nice addition to the stay. The rate was in line with more conventional hotels in the area but with a whole lot more character. They're not big so they fill up quickly so plan as far in advance as you can.
