2nd visit to this place and food is great, I usualy stop by for my lunch since its close to my work, 1st time I ordered lumb kabob and was amazing but it take about 15 min which is normal, so it give my less than 10 min to finish my food since my lunch is 30 min only, 2nd time I called before and I ordered same think, when arrived nothing was ready and they just put my order on grill so I had to throw most my food away, thats why I gave 3 stars only, other than this, food is great nothing like this in the area, Iam sure that I will go next time but not on my lunch break read more

This Petra Grill serves excellent Greek salads which are made with very fresh vegetables. Plus the dressings are made from scratch each day. The salads are served in large old fashioned type bowls. So, you get your money's worth, plus they are served with hot pita bread. Friendly people and they play very relaxing music and a comfortable volume to enjoy one's meal. We have been going to Petra Grill in Potomac Mills Mall for years and were so excited when they opened a second restaurant nearer our home. The food is delicious, and there is always enough to take some home. Our favorites are the Mixed Grill and Chicken Kabob plate. This comes with a side of hummus and pita that is the best around! The food is prepared as you watch, and it can get quite busy, so patience is a virtue. It's worth the wait for such a delicious, and reasonably priced meal. They also appear to do a lot of take-out service, but we like to eat in. To top it all off, the employees, are outstanding! read more

Not only is the food delicious, fresh, and hot here, I always feel like I'm getting extra because you get so much food (with the Kabob platter anyway). The customer service is excellent too. My only complaint is that I've called ahead a few times and my food is NEVER ready when I get there. They always say it'll be ready in 15 minutes but it seems to take longer than that. I was in the mood for a gyro and I had to go to the ABC store so I killed 2 birds with one stone. I walked in on a Sunday evening and got helped right away. The cashier was friendly and very helpful. I ordered the gyro and asked for extra sauce. Thank goodness they don't charge for extra sauce like some places. He gave me two which was more than enough but I was happy he did. It took about 8-12 minutes and it was ready. I started munching on the fries first. They were salty and great. I like salty when I'm eating fries. The gyro meat is nice and tender. We are SO thrilled that Petra Grill has moved into our neighborhood. We've eaten there in person once and had takeout 3-4 times now. The food is really great. I haven't had sharwama in years, so finding it on the menu was like finding a long lost friend. I don't know why the other reviewer had issues with the service. The time we ate in, we were showered with attention, and they even brought us free food, wanting us to try things. The owner's toddler was there and kept wanting to talk to us. She was adorable and outgoing, which says a lot about the parents. This is clearly a family run business, and we love supporting such! read more

The chicken kabob salad was also overlooked and dripping in dressing. The garlic sauce for the chicken was very good. The sauces for the lamb lacked flavor.
