Why do you insist on covering a lie with a lie…read more First, Why are most wood burning stoves not UL listed? There are several standards that wood burning stoves must meet. UL listing is not a required standard for stoves, so most manufacturers elect not to have that testing done.. The UL laboratories are a private nonprofit organization that some manufacturers elect to send their products too. This certification can be costly and because the certification is not necessary for wood stoves, most manufacturers do not submit their product to Underwriters Laboratories for approval. There are only three wood-burning stoves that are UL listed Second, the only certification needed is when you install a new wood stove and that requirement is a stove certified by the EPA Third, older wood stoves are grandfathered in and there is no fire code that exist that states that you must upgrade to a new wood-burning stove when you buy or sell. If you do change out the stove, then it must be upgraded to an EPA certified stove Finally, there are manufacturers data plates that are on wood stoves that show the minimum clearances from stove to combustible materials. This particular stove met all the minimum distance requirements to combustible materials. Yes, the fireplace surround was ugly, however it was a cement fiber board that is a non-combustible material. In addition, the stove flue was exposed for the first 5 feet and is of a triple wall design which has a higher heat value. So I stand by my claim that your inspections are fraudulent, froth with misinformation, with intent to upsell or some new products to the person's home that you inspect.

We Hired Azteca Pools In August of 2019 to do our 20 x 40 pool with built in Jacuzzi as pictured…read morehere in these face books ads , in Sonora . The contract was that we were to pay $1000 to accept the the job which we did. We paid the first third of the contract when that job was done 6mos later January 2020. Edmundo the owner of Azteca does not have his own work staff so usually he came to work at the house with one or maybe two guys who maybe had some idea of what they were doing. In the in end we paid about 90% of the contract it is now October 2020 and the retaining wall he has been building for a YEAR still has not passed inspection for the 4th time because he cannot read the engineers plans, and he walks off the job. We were left with a pool we paid 90% for ... that was unfinished . I guess we were lucky because we had hired a Pete's Decks and Fences Contractors to do the retaining wall and while it cost us $ 22,000 it was done in 3 weeks and passed inspection. We also notice after the rain and snowstorm we had here 2021 the tile that Azteca pool put in started to fall off . We have now hired BURKETT'S of Modesto to finish the pool at the cost of $65,000 but while it's an expensive lesson to double check and redouble who you hire it's worth it. They had to redo all the plumbing otherwise the pool would not have even worked! We have taken Azteca to Small Claims Court and did get awarded $10,000 but we have not seen any of that from the owner Edmundo Garcia. We did get $15,000 from Azteca's Bond but that is NOT nearly enough from what we paid from my hard earned retirement money! In total they received $70,000 The pictures with this post are how they left the pool and what the money paid got us! SO NOT WORTH IT!

Azteca was 6 weeks over due in completing our project and grossly over budget. We signed a…read morecontract for a fixed price, but almost immediately the "time and materials" billings started flowing in under the guise of "extras". The "extras" totaled over $10,000 and were not legitimate charges because the contract states that we are to approve changes in advance that may result in extra charges. We discovered that their system of "extras" billings is their standard procedure and is actually their paycheck and how they pay their bills. Azteca performed extremely poor workmanship, including very crooked masonry work, wrong sized vault for the pool cover, electrical wiring was backwards, the lights didn't work, and there were 3 leaks in the pool, totaling 740 gallons of water per day. Finally, they abandoned the project when we were slow to pay the "extras". The pool developed a serious algae bloom because Azteca left us without chlorine for 7 days in the hot sun. We had to hire contractors to repair the leaks, the algae, wiring, and to cut the concrete vault open by 1" for the cover. We had to pay Azteca's subcontractors to get them to finish the work. If that was not bad enough by itself, Azteca engages in a program of negative gossip, blaming us for non payment of the "extras" and causing us to be barraged and harassed by an angry subcontractor. They then filed a complaint with the building dept about our deck railing - which has nothing to do with the pool - just to cause us trouble. This is the single most unprofessional and malicious contractor I have ever encountered. Definitely do not hire Azteca.

The grade pitch are all screwed up going to wrong way . We went over and over with what we wanted with isreal stamp and a boarder that's all we wanted he ended up copying what had in our front driveway I clearly told him we don't want that same pattern copied they turn around and copied the front . And get our new cement we had poured a few months ago got ruin by them stepping in wet cement then walking all over the newly cement we had done last year . They cleaned their tools and wheelbarrow in the front of our house by the street leaving a huge mess of dried cement all over !! Careless just don't know any better I guess . Like they were forming the forms at 8 pm the night befor when the cement try's going to be here at 7am !! They need to pay more attention to detail super messy just all crewed up !!! will not be referring them anymore and I'm never ever going to call them back for any kind of work !! And the drain they installed all in a rush not careful or caring did not work I brought it to there attention and basically just abandoned it they did what they could , like no one thought it out . The more I look the more I see wrong the pitch of the cement towards the back instead of slanting the cement so the water run off goes to the planter NOT MY STORAGE AREA !! Simple no brainer mistakes .. when it rains it's going to flood my storage area and you best believe I will be calling guys to come fix it .!!! We paid a lot of money the least they could do is dedicate some time to the project nor just get it done between jobs !!
