I love me some good pizza! And I've been eating Petrillo's since I was a kid. The one on Valley Blvd. in Alhambra where I grew up. So I was always wondering if this establishment was related? I don't know but I gave them a try. I'm always on the hunt for the next great pizza...LOL. Was it As good as Petrillo's? No. But was it good? Yes. Better than my top 3? No. If you like a pizza with a lot of melts cheese goodness you'll love this pizza. It was almost too much cheese for me. Is that possible?!!! And I usually order extra cheese. Trust me. This place is sooo good!! Honestly they had me at the garlic bread! Like a piece of crispy garlicky pie, consistent texture and perfect garlic flavor. I also ordered calamari, it was still crunchy and hot when I got home, not fishy or chewy just perfect. The pizza Bianca was light and crispy and all the ingredients were super fresh. I was a bit stunned by prices but the portions are large, a small pizza feels like a medium and the garlic bread is super huge. They are really busy, not sure how the one guy running the front keeps it together with walk ins and phone orders. While I had to wait about 35-40 min on a Sunday night it was totally worth it! read more

Ordered pizza here a few days ago and we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's a bit pricey but honestly the pizza was so good and packed with toppings. The crust was perfect and you could tell everything was super fresh. We ordered the x large one which was just way too much. It's a big pizza and super heavy because they pack it with toppings. I saw the the reviews on Yelp while shopping in the Montclaiir area and had to try this place out. I ordered a large Italian sausage and pepperoni. Since I ordered take out, my family and i had to sample the pizza and hot wings before driving back to Riverside. I have tasted pizza in New York and Chicago from eateries showcased on the Food Network. Let tell you, if you have not tried this place you aint had a pizza. Lastly, before leaving the parking lot I walked back in the restaurant acknowledged the staff and left a tip. I will legit drive from Riverside to Upland to get pizza from this place and drive it home (call in your order when you hit the 15/10 interchange if you're coming from that direction so that your pizza is ready close to your arrival time). Hands down the best pizza in the IE. We used to order from here at least once a month when we used to live in Ontario and all the pizza that Riverside has is just so whack compared to Petrilli's. I love that it's small. Great local small business. Now the pizza - they make their own sausage and it is AMAZING. They are NOT CHEAP AT ALL on their toppings and you can tell that their toppings are QUALITY ingredients. Whole vegetables that weren't canned, cheese galore, amazing sausage. This pizza isn't cheap (a medium 1/2 pepperoni and sausage 1/2 supreme) but you absolutely get what you pay for. Good quality mature pizza. read more

Absolutely love their Specialty pizza and their salads. It's more of a take out place, nothing fancy but the food is good quality.

Had to try this place as it was rated really high on yelp. It wasn't bad. Almost too much olives and cheese, actually. and the sauce didn't really shine. My one thing I wasn't crazy about was the crust. it was well, too crusty. The bottom was actually crunchy and the cheese and olives overwhelmed the flavor of the sauce. I'd give this a solid 3.5, but they don't have .5 stars in the rating, so rounded up to 4 as I'm an optimist. Will possibly try again with different toppings. read more

My husband absolutely loves this place. We were in the area, and he was craving pizza so I recommended this place. That was the beginning of his love of Petrilli's. The ingredients are fresh, and each pizza is made to order. You know it's the real thing when the wait time is at least 25-30 minutes, which this was. They offer a range of sizes to fit any groups. We purchased a medium with half veggies and half olives, bell peppers, and pepperoni. For three people, we had it for three meals and every one tasted delicious. Highly recommend reheating it on the stove top. Overall, it's a fan favorite of my husband's (who loves pizzas), and we will definitely be making some drives to this place in order to fulfill that pizza craving. read more
