Novocaine doesn't typically work on me so it's usually a miserable experience. My appointment time was 10:30. Typically I want the first appt. of the day so there's no wait so I wasn't thrilled with the time. I was immediately greeted and given my forms (first visit). I barely put the pen down and was called in. My wait time? MAYBE five minutes. The two assistants could not have been kinder. I explained my fears and questions and everything was answered. Dr. Mitchell came in very quickly and gave me a warm, comforting greeting. I asked that he listen to me before starting anything. He graciously listened, and then explained everything, did the exam and determined I DID need a root canal. I required many injections (see reason above). Each was done gently as possible and Dr. Mitchell explained everything to me throughout the procedure. At one point an injection was required IN the tooth, which was very painful. He was as gentle as possible, and the wonderful assistant held and patted my hand for what seemed like a long time until I moved my hand. The full procedure and follow up was explained to me by Dr. Mitchell afterwards, and again by Arlene in the office as I was paying. The office made a miserable experience tolerable by their professionalism and caring. At no point did I feel rushed, as is so common nowadays in ANY medical office. Highly recommend!!

When I started treatment for implants, my mouth was a mess- I was absolutely terrified but Dr Dean literally held my hand as I went through a very lengthy reconstruction of my mouth. including a lot of bone grafting and preparation because my case in particular was so difficult. My own mother lost every tooth in her mouth due to years of neglect by the age of 60. It's very very upsetting scene to witness a full mouth of extractions ending with dentures. I went for a checkup on 2 molars I am thinking of extracting since no molars to meet on the bottom…read more Last year Dr. Digney extracted a molar and it went pretty well. I paid extra to be put out in twilight . Someone prior to him apparently missed that I had a cavity and the tooth could not be saved . This was the 1st time ever I had to have a tooth extracted other than the wisdom teeth and was more than happy with the results . I did not want any issues later in life but he said it barely moves and could possibly take many years 10 or more even that to have an issue . He did not recommend extraction unless I am feeling uncomfortable. I guess I'll check back next year but I do have insurance now and wanted to take a precaution . He is wonderful and said he would do it if that's what I wanted but would wait He works out of Kawa Orthodontics office which has a welcoming and soothing waiting area of the ocean and sea throughout the whole place. I believe this relaxes the patients especially kids who need to have braces etc. I would not go to any other oral surgeon . The only other great one was Dr Russo who did my wisdom but believe he is retired .

After the surgery I waited over 3 months for my dental to cover 2 of the teeth but the other tooth was not covered, so it went through my medical which they did. I called and the person that work at the billing department only work like tueday to Friday and she is extremely busy. I left a messages asking if they heard back from the insurance and they told me to call back when the person in charge isthere. I finally got a hold of her and was told that my insurance just send back the information and she will get back to me when a check for my difference will be mailed out. 2 weeks past and I got nothing in the mail. So I decided o call back and I was told that they try calling me and did not got a hold of me and left a message on my voicemail. I told her I never received any message. She then told me I need to file out a form that will be sent to my emai and to send it back to receive my money. I print the form and send it back . But on the form it says it can take up to 90 days to receive a check. This is rediculous. They took my 1000 dollars all at once the week before surgery but now I have to wait 90 days for a refund. My insurance company said since I was in network they should not have charged me upfront smh. I will not recommend them to anyone. And if I never follow up they would never had reach back out to me.

Was…read morenot sure who to call, but found Dr Winderbaum doing a google search and was very impressed with his website. I called and spoke with Cassie who was very pleasant and compassionate. She got me in immediately to see Dr Winderbaum. When I arrived, I found the office to be clean and nicely decorated. Dr Winderbaum was very nice. After seeing my problem, we decided to replace my broken onlay. He gave me a great shot, which I barely felt and he had a very gentle touch. He seemed to be very conscientious as well. His assistant performed a digital scan of my tooth and had a very light touch. A temporary restoration was placed while I wait for the lab to return my permanent restoration. I would definitely recommend Dr Winderbaum. I found him to be compassionate and conscientious. I guess I found a new dentist.
