CHOI: I have been a patient of Dr. Choi since 2015 (way back when he was in Summerlin in the brown offices starting out - one of his first few patients he started with) , and I can say without hesitation that having Dr. Choi as my physician has been one of the most meaningful and reassuring constants in my life. Over the years, he has been there for me through some of my toughest moments, as well as some of my best. His care has extended far beyond what I believe most people would consider the ordinary responsibilities of a physician. Dr. Choi and all of his staff have made sure I was taken care of even after hours, remained involved through multiple hospitalizations, and consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that I received the care and attention I needed. What distinguishes Dr. Choi from most physicians however, is the way he advocates for his patients. There have been times when I was physically, emotionally, or otherwise unable to advocate for myself, and he stepped into that role without hesitation. Knowing that someone was in my corner--someone who understood my history, listened to me, and genuinely cared about my well-being--made an immeasurable difference. After more than a decade as his patient, I don't view he simply as a physician. I view him as someone who has earned my deepest trust and gratitude through years of compassion, dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to my care. Exceptional physicians are difficult to find. A physician who consistently treats you like a person rather than a patient is even rarer. I am profoundly grateful to have had that kind of physician in my life since 2015. I could not recommend them more highly. REVIEW FOR DR. CHOI'S STAFF (Laura, Daisy, Ashley, Christine, Dani): The staff at this office is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk through the door, you are treated with kindness, compassion, patience, and genuine respect. They consistently go far above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and never make you feel like you are simply another patient. Over the years, I have experienced countless examples of their willingness to help. Whether it is answering questions, coordinating appointments, handling paperwork, communicating with other providers, or simply taking the time to listen when you need someone to help, they are always there. They are incredibly attentive and make every effort to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. What I appreciate most is that their compassion feels genuine. Even during difficult and stressful circumstances, they remain patient, understanding, and reassuring. They have gone out of their way to make challenging situations easier and have repeatedly demonstrated that they genuinely care about the people they serve. It is rare to find a medical office where the entire staff consistently operates with such a high level of professionalism, empathy, and dedication. They create an environment where you feel supported, respected, and confident that someone is willing to help you whenever you need it. The staff is an extraordinary reflection of the quality and compassion of this practice. Their commitment to their patients does not go unnoticed, and I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me over the years. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They truly go above and beyond. *Laura is the WORLD'S best phlebotomist! She's the ONLY one I will let near my arms - she's like a ninja when she gets me with the butterfly needle, because I have VERY hard to find veins and I've been told I'm a "VERY hard stick." Laura gets me on the first try and can get all the vials she needs for labs. I can't comment on others in the office because Laura knows she's the only one I allow to take vial after vial of blood from me. :)

During my call, the first staff member informed me that she could not locate my information and then place me on hold. After several minutes, another person picked up the line and greeted me as if I were a brand-new caller, with no acknowledgment that I had already been on hold. When I expressed the confusion and frustration about the situation, instead of listening or asking what the issue was, that staff member immediately. Stated that the police would be called if I came to the office. The response was completely inappropriate, unnecessary and highly unprofessional. At no point did I threaten anyone. I was simply trying to understand what had happened with my call and my appointment. Being met with that kind of hostility is unacceptable, especially from a medical office where professionalism, respect, and commotional should be top priorities. I am requesting that this incident be properly investigated and that the staff involved receive corrective action, whether that be disciplinary measures or formal retraining on communication, phone etiquette and de-escalation skills. Patient should never feel dismissed or theater when trying to receive assistance. I would also like to mention that when the agent who was assisting me called the office on my behalf, that same staff member spoke to her in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner as well. This shows that the issue is not isolated and that the way customer and even other professional are being spoken to need to be addressed. Please take this matter seriously and ensure that no other patient has toa experience what I did. I look forward to a response confirming my complaint has been received and steps are being taken to address this behavior.

I walk in to a room full of people (mostly children) and had to ask a child where to check in because the registration 'window' is completely covered with papers/signs/notices ... seriously can't even tell there's a window there. The only door is semi blocked so it took me a while to see that you have to knock on the door (wth) to even get someone to recognize that you are there. I don't even know what to say about quality of care. So bad! I waited over 3 hours and when I finally got in through the door it is littered with unnecessary furniture and obstacles so it makes it hard to walk through the hallways and get in the exam room, which is an office. I get it, it's a small business and you use what you have but this was extreme. The 'nurse' took all my info, then the doctor came in and did do a good background on me, except for wanting to change all my heart medications without first consulting my cardiologist. Then they made a huge mistake by typing in my name wrong on all the records so between them, my insurance claim, and CVS I now have 3 aliases and none of them are me so it's been a month and I'm still trying to get that fixed. It's really hard to get through to the office. The main number rings and rings and then magically disconnects. IMPOSSIBLE to get through, on a regular basis. When the doctor asked me when I wanted to go back for recheck, I asked for a day that wasn't as busy so I didn't have to wait three hours. She LAUGHED and said it was always like that. Wow. I did make an appointment but have been trying every day calling back to back for 20 minutes during lunch to get through to cancel. I will fax them along with a copy of this review and hopefully they will improve their services to other patients. Worst of all, the parking lot is horrid. There is one way in - one way out.
