Completely unreliable, unprofessional and I am writing this review to warn others!! I know it is lengthy but please read if you are even considering this company, I am sure you will think twice after you do!! After researching and looking at reviews, I contacted Pets a Go Go a month before my scheduled trip. Spoke to the owner Nicole on the phone at length, gave her the dates and service I was interested in (in this case overnight stays which they advertise) and the location of my home. She went into great length as to what the service included, the price and how they GPS tracked their employees to ensure they were at your house when they were supposed to be (in this case overnight). After ending the conversation she emailed me all the forms that needed to be filled out with all my contact information, information on my 2 dogs and detailed information on my home. Also on these forms, the service requested, the exact dates of service, etc. After filling these out completely and returning she scheduled the "Meet and Greet" with the assigned sitter. The sitter arrived at the scheduled day and time and we spent over 30 minutes with her giving her a complete tour of our home, going over the specifics of the dogs and even asking the sitter if it bothered her if the dogs slept in the bed with her, as this is what they were used to (again confirming the overnight care) to which she replied that it was fine and she was used to this. The sitter then left our home and asked for the house key, which of course we gave her. One day later I received an email from Nicole saying that "she did not have the resources for overnight care and if she had known that this was the type of service we were interested in she would not have wasted any ones time" She had ALL my contact information including multiple contact phone numbers and she cancelled this on me via EMAIL!! She knew the dates and service we were interested in both verbally and in writing, not to mention we went over with the sitter the overnight care and she still asked for and left with our house key KNOWING that she could not provide the service!! This was done 11 days prior to our scheduled departure causing us to cancel our trip. These people were in possession of our house key for 72 hours before it was returned, were given a detailed tour of our home and also know we were planning to be out of town. I have spoken to other pet/house sitting services and every one of them was shocked when I relayed this exact story. I plan on posting this review everywhere I can and also file a complaint with the BBB so other pet owners do not go through the same thing with this company. In response to Nicole's comments: #1 Sorry to say it is a lie that you were not aware of the overnight services wanted during the initial phone call as I had another person on the line who will verify as such that you were fully aware of it, why else would you go into such detail and quote us the overnight rate. #2 Why if you claim the sitter knew there was a problem would she ask and accept a housekey without even mentioning there was an issue. #3 With you 700+ customers, do you often cancel the service via email rather than a phone call when you have ALL the client's contact phone numbers knowing full well the trip is in 11 days? I don't think I need to say anything else, your actions in this speak for themselves. Buyer beware! read more

This is to Beth H.. Im sorry that your experience with pet a go-go was tainted in the failure of having your dogs walked. Aday was also my dog walker. I am also sorry to have to change my dog walker. Nevertheless these things happen. I can only say that I am fortunate to have been referred to this dog service. I have a pit bull and as many know they have a bad rap which means I must be a responsible dog owner. I feel confident that my dog is being cared for by responsible people. During Adays absence and change in dog walker Nicole the owner ,personally walked my dog. I am most grateful for the personal touch. My dog is alot happier in having a good daycare to go to and share her doggy life with other dogs . In addition, I can say I leave a note for my walker and I always recieved written feedback on my dogs walk. Furthermore, all the dog walkers are responsible . I personally text and have contact with Nicole regarding any changes or concerns. Beth I dont think your isolated experince is a reflection of how this service operates. This is the first time that Angie's List has truly failed me. DO NOT USE this dog walking service. I was drawn to this service because the owner, Nicole, promised that our dogs would be walked no matter what was going on with our dog walker, rain or shine. I used them for approximately one month. Our regular dog walker was excellent. We received word that he was out, but not why or for how long. I stayed home from work on a Wednesday. The owner, Nicole, was covering for our regular dog walker. She did not show up to walk our dogs. She came around 5:00 with another walker to show her the ropes at our house and to look for a lost cell phone. I asked her if she planned on walking our dogs. She told me she already had walked them that day. I informed her that I had been home all day and no dog walker had come. She just said "Oh, I guess that's where my head's at!". No apology, no explanation. That night, I emailed her and asked that in future she let me know who would be covering our dog walks and asked that she leave a daily diary so that we had some assurance that a dog walker had visited. I pointed out that, from my perspective, what had happened that day did not look good for her company. If I had not been home, my dogs would not have been walked and we would have been charged as if they had been. She informed me that our regular dog walker was injured and out for an indeterminate amount of time, that she was covering and had not been sleeping well. She said "in hindsight probably should have left all 12 of Aday's households hanging this week instead of asking my sleep deprived mind to take over yet another full-time job." and followed that with " if you are truly that concerned about our performance as a company then I would prefer to leave your key on Friday which should give you ample time to replace us by Monday." She absolutely refused to apologize or accept responsibility. Instead, she expressed concern that we would not be paying her and kept asking me to have our contractor verify that she had come to walk the dogs in the days prior to Wednesday. She absolutely forgot to walk our dogs. I have no idea how many other times this happened in the time we used her service, as even she doesn't seem to know where she has been on any given day. She would not apologize, would not give any assurance that it would not happen again and quit rather than try to make it right. Our regular walker, Aday, was excellent and our dogs truly liked him. However, when the owner of a company behaves in this way, you cannot entrust your animals to the company, as there is no one to hold the employees accountable when the owner themself behaves in such a way. It was absolutely horrifying and made me sick. Thankfully, we did not use them for pet sitting. I can only imagine what I would have come home to if we had. read more

These guys are very reliable and reasonable. I have a large breed dog and a diabetic cat, and I travel often. They are always available and I never worry about things being taken care of while I'm gone. I highly recommend them. read more

We use Pets a Go Go exclusively for our two Weimeraners for all their needs -- boarding, daycare, and training. They are the best; easy to work with, easy to schedule, etc. Carole at Pets a Go Go trained our 8-month-old puppy via their intensive Sit and Stay program and made MASSIVE improvements in her behavior and obedience. Recently I had that newly trained puppy off leash at a dog park when several dogs there started to chase a fox. Our puppy joined in the chase and, realizing it was a dangerous situation, I was able to call her name, use the simple "come" command Carole had trained her on, and our pup stopped in her tracks and returned to me while the pack of dogs continued to chase the fox (leading some of them out of the dog run and into danger on the street). In that moment I knew the training program at Pets a Go Go was worth every dime and couldn't wait to thank Carole for doing such a great job with our puppy. I highly recommend Pets a Go Go and Carole's training program to any dog owner in the area. read more

Pets a go go is the absolute BEST place to board your doggie!!! My dog Cooper LOVES going there! He plays all.day.long. And when I pick him up, he is exhausted!! I also get Cooper groomed there and they do an amazing job!!! I love that Pets a go go is a cage free facility and they can play inside OR outside. I also really like that they have separate play areas for the big dogs and the little dogs. I recommend Pets a go go 100%! You won't be disappointed!!! I always used to be anxious about leaving town because I never knew what to do with my dog. Ever since I found the paw squad that has completely changed. They pickup and deliver my dog and even have him groomed before bringing him back. Best of all, my dog gets so excited when he sees the paw squad car pull up that I know he is treated well. Sometimes I wonder if he enjoys life better with the paw squad, but at least I know he is in good hands when I am away. I love this dog walking/boarding service. I have been using them for almost 4 years. They are totally reliable (they walk my dog three times a week), and my dog is always tired when he gets home (so I know that they are really exercising him). I have been using Pets a Go Go for almost two years now and I can say, without reservation, that I have had nothing but excellent experiences with them. I felt comfortable with Nicole from the first day I met her. I never have difficulty reaching her, either by e-mail or phone. She does her best to accommodate my frequently changing schedule, even when I can't give her much notice (though I try not to do this too often!). Her dog walkers are the BEST! They always leave me notes about what my dogs did and how they behaved! And they truly love my pups!! I do not worry when I know they are with one of the walkers. I cannot imagine leaving my dogs in the care of anyone else when I am away or working long days!! read more

I have used Pets a GoGo for at least eight years, for both cats and dogs. Nicole (the owner) has an inherent talent for picking out wonderful walkers and animal caretakers. I've yet to find one who doesn't love animals. Each is well-trained and able to deal with a variety of situations, for example, safely walking dogs in all kinds of weather, dispensing medication to objecting felines, cleaning up after a sick animal. Nicole and her staff are available for emergencies or last minute needs, and I have had quite a few of both. She also knows a lot about animals and has great recommendations. The walkers are also very good with pet parents. They take the time to listen to your concerns and respond accordingly. I have absolutely no hesitation about leaving my animals in their care or letting them into my house when I'm not there. There is no comprehensive local service like this. I urge you to try Pets a GoGo if you are looking for a pet sitting/walking service. read more

We fired them after one day. The owner, Nicole, was snotty. The walker, who showed up for the first of two daily visits to take care of our 9 week old puppy, showed up 3 hours late. At the end of the first and only day, my husband arrived home to our puppy who was roaming free in our apartment! He called Nicole who told him that her walker already told her that our puppy somehow got out of her play pen and was loose when she arrived after the first visit. And instead of calling my husband and I, placing her in her secure crate, or even closing the bedroom door to contain her in the room with the play pen, they neglected to do anything at all, leaving her to potentially harm herself in the apartment alone. We have already alerted our building about this poor service, and told them to remove Pets a Go Go from their recommended dog walking services for all of the tenants at the Ritz Carlton towers. read more
