I got updates on Facebook of my little ones. As I live far away, I dropped my dogs off at Kimmer's. Thank goodness there was room. The dogs were spoiled. How do I know you ask? Well, I have one dog that will be happy no matter what. The other dog is a rescue and has some personality issues, which is reflected in her being terrified of everything. This little doggie was very calm when I went to pick her up. She let herself be picked up (which is a HUGE deal), and she was happy to show emotion when she saw me (she generally does not do that around people). It's amazing. I recently went out of town for a week and I needed a place to take my very active dog. She loves socialization and I knew a kennel would not be a great place for her. I loved that you have to have a demeanor test for your dog before you can schedule day care or boarding. I felt safe knowing that they screened other dogs to make sure they weren't aggressive. I think it was really cool that they put them in play groups depending on their size and activity level. There were a lot of things for the little dogs to play on and a nice big area for them to run outside. They have pools for them to play in the water if the weather is nice. The owner is very nice and the staff was very helpful and didn't get annoyed when i called several times to check on my furbaby. They were honest and told me my dog wasn't eating well the first day, but reassured me that was very normal. When I called the next day they told me she was doing much better and was eating normally again. They definitely could have just left that out but, I appreciated that they told me the truth. Of course she was happy to come home, but I think she really enjoyed being there.

You don't have to bring dog food if you don't want to bc they'll provide it for your dogs. They also provide beds, blankets, or towels for your dogs as long as they don't tear everything apart. I'm really glad that there's a nice facility like this in the area that's reasonably priced compared to the other ones in the area. We'll definitely be back!
