I went in to purchase a bunny. I told the manager which one I wanted. She suggested a different one. She said the one I wanted was skittish. I was asking questions about owning one because I have only had dogs and cats. I was beside the kitten cages and this sweet little kitten kept meowing and sticking her little paws out. I said let me see the kitten. She rolled her eyes and made a rude comment. I said why did you say this. She rudely said you came in to buy a bunny now you wanna see the kitten! I'm like AND!?! She walked away and the Assistant Manager helped me purchase the kitten. That rude, unprofessional, bully Manager doesn't need to work with humans or animals....I will now start shopping at the Burlington or Chapel Hill pet-stores in the future. They did a great job in my little dog! He was usually scared whenever we took him to another groomer but he did great here.

Do NOT take your precious pet(s) here to get groomed. I have a small Bishon and they botched his grooming! He is a gentle, sweet dog. We just moved from out of state and took our chances. We got a call that we was biting them?!?!?! NEVER in his 13 years of life has he ever snapped an anyone. He must have had some intuition how horrible they were. I miss Katie (one of the sales associates) working there, she was always helpful and super polite and very informative about all of the products and services. After encountering with the store manager, Angie, I will never be back here. Very rude and vulgar to her own employees. Take the extra drive to pet smart and get better service there everyone. read more

We had an appointment today to get our dogs groomed. My wife talked to them yesterday and gave her the names their records should be under. Also gave them the name of our vet who was open til noon. They said they would call us back if they couldn't find our info. We showed up today and were told that they could not groom our dogs because our vet was closed when they called and they couldn't find our records. To top it off they lied to our face and told us that they had left us a message to that effect. It's one thing to err but it is another altogether to lie about it. We are done with them. read more

I made an appointment to get my dog groomed a few weeks ago on Thursday. I called to see what the latest I could bring my dog in because I was getting off of work a little later then I originally thought. I showed them a picture of what I wanted but she stated he couldn't be cut like that due to him being matted... I picked him up afterwards and he is cut way too short! He is not even cut even. I also noticed that the ends of his ears were hard and I wasn't sure if this was normal, I ended up finding blood on his ears which isn't normal. I'm not sure if the lady was in a rush because my appointment was at 4:30 and they closed at 7pm and she was just trying to rush and that's why she didn't want to do the cut I originally showed her. It's sad because I like to bring him here when I can't find other groomers due to them being booked up. But I Won't be bringing him back here again. read more

I stopped in Petsense today looking for a Tick Remover. This area of NC has a heavy tick population and a person would think a pet store would stock this small item. I was told they don't carry them and they can't be ordered because they didn't sell a lot of them when they had them in stock. From now on I won't even bother with Petsense for my pet's needs. Very very disappointed. Had an appointment today at 4:30 and they canceled as I was enroute to drop off my pet. It's the day before Thanksgiving and a week before a scheduled photo shoot, which I centered around the appointment I made with Petsense. Their effort to accommodate me after a month long wait was to schedule me something on December 3, 2021. When I asked if they tried to ask another local location to assist them in keeping their scheduled commitments, the employee said no but they could give me the numbers to call. So much for honoring appointments and WOW customer service. read more

I would not recommend the dog training classes. I felt like I was ripped off. I paid $25 up front for a dog trainer to try and hard sell me toys that my dog did not need, especially a $17 kong toy that was 10X bigger that she is!! I showed her how I taught my other dog to sit and she proceeded to spend the next hour using the technique I showed her. she continuously asked my dog to sit and give her treats for one whole hour.......needless to say, I won't go back in that store for ANY reason. I've taken all 3 of our dogs to Petsense in Mebane and we're very happy with the service. Our dogs don't require heavy duty grooming, but a couple of past groomers had left them with nicks and done some sloppy trimming around our little terrier's face. The ladies at Petsense have been wonderful. The dogs don't seem to mind a grooming visit at all which wasn't the case at their last groomer. I recommend the groomers at Petsense highly. read more
